Kravitz as much as he's not exactly a rock god by any stretch, he's still put out enough decent music to take out the ridiculously over-rated (in the UK) Arctic Monkeys. Yes, they write their own songs, play their own instruments and sing, but their songs are awful and they have irritating voices.

Arctic Monkeys. Easily. These guys have been around for what? 3 years? and they've already done it all. They've reached number one, they've headlined Glastonbury, they've sold out arenas in minutes, they've sold out stadiums in minutes. They are the band that represents this generation.

I hate the Arctic Monkeys. Brian, when has success ever been equal to quality? Must we go through the Britney Spears argument again? But the Monkeys are easily better then that steaming pile of shit that is Lenny Kravitiz.

What is his appeal? He tries so very hard to sound like some rock god from the 60s & 70s, and ends up sounding like a talented guitarist with little to no sense of how to write and create music that isn't fucking awful. The only decent things he's ever done have been covers. Lenny Kravitz is shit. Just shit. So are the Monkeys, but even they cannot match up to Kravitz' prowess of sucking at music.
