Blind Melon vs Sugar Ray

Please take into account the entire body of work of the artists, their mark on the music industry and/or society as a whole, their influence on other artists, lyrics, music, etc. If you have not already done so, please review the rules of the tournament and the Wrestlezone Forums. Have fun!

Ok, please people, don't vote for Sugar Ray.

THEY are the worst band in the bracket. Their music is unendingly overrated, their live shows are pudrid, and a big reason they are even remotely popular is a direct result of the off-stage charisma of Mark McGrath. Overall, Sugar Ray is the opposite of a hasbeen - they are a never should have been.

Blind Melon was a fantastic band, part of Woodstock 1994, whose run was tragically cut short by death. Blind Melon would have kept going and hopefully become huge. "No Rain" and "Soup" were fantastic songs. Between Blind Melon, Sublime, and Alice in Chains we get proof that the good ones usually die first. Thank you Hendrix and Joplin for starting THAT trend.

Blind Melon should get everyone's vote - Sugar Ray is musical trash.

Ok seriously 3 votes for Sugar Ray? really?, please what is wrong with you people, I mean I'm no Blind Melon fan by any means, but they are leaps and bounds better than fucking Sugar Ray, you know people just cause a band has mainstream success doesn't necessarily mean they're good

some of these matchups Ive been seeing makes it more and more apparent that this tournament needs The Mars Volta seeing as how theyre actually talented compared to some of these bands like Sugar Ray or Creed or even Nickelback. with that being said Im voting for Blind Melon because like everyone else has said these guys actually possess that key ingredient called talent and that alone gets them the win over a shit band like Sugar Ray
