I'm voting for Starcraft to go through here. I've stated my reasons why last round. And in this matchup, Rayman's gonna fall flat.

Vote Starcraft.

The vote has to go to StarCraft, while the original Rayman is such a great and fun game, it's fallen out of place as the PS2s and 3s have come along and better platforms replacing it. StarCraft is still one of the biggest games played in the world today because it's one of those games that didn't suffer with the evolution of PC computers, it's possibly the only game out of my old PC games collection I can still play today on Vista, which is a nice sign for once in a Vista computer.

StarCraft is brilliant for single player and multi-player. The appeal of the single player is that the story is all continuous through all three campaigns as opposed to alternative versions of events if you take up a different choice with a game like Red Alert 3. StarCraft has a long lasting appeal and I think most of the WZ forumers are still playing this more than Rayman.

While sticking your tongue out at the screen with your armless hands is fun, it doesn't match to playing a stragety game that has received a game of the year award in 1998 and get a 5/5 star rating.

Vote StarCraft

Again, I'm voting for Rayman. Why? Because it's probably going to lose. I see I'm the only person to vote for Rayman thus far, and it's in all likelihood going to lose in this round. Oh well, I think it deserves atleast a few votes. Truly one of the most underrated and creative platformers of all time IMO, and a game that holds a special place in my heart for all of he memories I had as a kid playing it.

Is Star Craft the superior game? Most likely. No, definitely. I'm still voting for Rayman though.

This is tough, because I love Rayman. It's a fun, entertaining game, with great use of music and stellar animation for its time, and is also the #1 selling UK Playstation game. It's one of the most iconic platformers out there and its sequels are still being felt today in the Wii craze over Raving Rabbids or whatever they are. A brilliant and fun game, really.

Starcraft, however, is pretty much undeniably stronger. It's the best selling PC game of its year, it's sold nearly 10 million copies total, it's taken over South Korea in a way Kim Jong-Il can only dream about, and its one of the most popular online games in the world. It's a great game - it doesn't break the mold, but its one of the best games to use the mold. The distinct utilization of race was a big factor that, although it didn't invent, Starcraft used to great effect. It has one of the strongest video game stories around, and I can go on and on here, but there's no more need to. It's all these points and more that make Starcraft one of the best games of all time, and unfortunately, the fun, entertaining Rayman has to go out to the powerhouse that is Starcraft.

Eh Starcraft is better, but I'm voting Rayman just to spite Starcraft here for taking out my beloved LTTP last round. I don't care, Rayman isn't going to win anyways, but at least I can give it another vote before being swamped by the Starcraft fanboyz.

Starcraft is getting my vote here. I've played several games of the Rayman series, and while I had a good time, it can't stack up to Starcraft. On platformer terms, Rayman is a good game. On RTS games, Starcraft is a relic to many gamers. While I never reached that level of fanboyship, I still love the game when I play it from time to time. Hell, for the last semester of school me and friends brought back-up drives to school with it on them, and we set up a network at school. Fun stuff. In the end, arguably best RTS > solid platformer.
