I'll pretend I didn't see this.

Calling this a 5 star match is an insult to professional wrestling.
It's a fine match, but calling it 5 stars is a bit ridiculous, given how ridiculous the match itself was.
No love anywhere for triple H and Austin from No Way Out 2001?
Match was amazing.
Abyss fucking sucks and could hardly keep up with AJ's offense, not to mention there were some ridiculously illogical spots. And if I remember correctly, the match very bipolar. It started as a spot fest, then it moved to a slow paced mess, and then it went back to a spot fest.
Clearly my memory of the match isn't that great, so I'll watch it again one of these days, but I was very disappointed when I watched it the first time as it came highly recommended by someone on here that I like, I think Joe.
In general it might be nice if people were capable of distinguishing between matches that they really liked and matches that were "5 stars." Although that does take most of the fun out of it.
Yeah that Abyss/Styles match is a classic. I definitely wouldn't go ***** for it, but I'd easily go **** or ****1/4.
I've always liked the TLC matches they had on Raw and Smackdown better.
A "5 Star" match, in my opinion, needs to be something I remember/can see myself remembering ten and more years after it took place. A lot of these matches do not register, for me, on that level.
