2011: Return of London Brawling?

It's Damn Real!

The undisputed, undefeated TNA &
According to Magnus and the footage that just aired on ReAction, it's in the works, and gold is their target—citing the Motor City Machineguns as their intended targets (though he did note a desire to go blow-for-blow with Beer Money, Inc. earlier in the night).

As most of you are aware, because of a "personal issue" with Desmond Wolfe (which turned out to be an injury that side-lined him for months) prior to No Surrender 2010 where they were scheduled to face-off with the Motor City Machineguns for the TNA World Tag Team Championships, LB were pulled from the show and replaced in the match with Generation Me (who went on to have a relatively lengthy feud with MCMG as a result).

Frankly, if you ask me, TNA needs LB back as soon as possible, because as I noted in the Tag Team thread, they're resting on their laurels a little too much right now. A team like LB could help to restore a little credibility to the division by injecting it with a team who could actually function as viable champions (sorry Ink Inc.).

Thoughts on a potential return of London Brawling? Concerns?

your right london brawling would be nice to have around again. but i do believe that it wont happen. i see mangus turning face and joining williams and reuniting the brittish invasion and having wolfe stay heel and turn on him and end up joining immortal. i cant really see having desmond wolfe as a face. magnus on the other hand did get a decent pop from the crowd tonight.

london brawling would be a briliant addition to the tna tagteam division. their 1st try was cut short but they are both talented enough, easy enough gimmick, and wolfe can fucking wrestle. dont tell me he didnt look great vs kurt angle. as much as every1 loves the tna tagteam division, its really not that good. beer money and MCMG yes but who else, ink inc? generation me? besides the top teams everyone else sucks. granted all of the wwe division sucks too.

I don't think we've seen very much of LB before Wolfe got sidelined but regardless, having them back can't be anything but good. Considering MCMG goes over Beer Money at Genesis (which I don't see happening, mind you), it gives a new team for them to feud over the belts with. After all, the Guns have already beaten just about every other tag team on the roster. It would give us something fresh as well as the title shot LB never got.

I also wouldn't mind seeing LB getting involved in the feud with Immortal. Wouldn't surprise me if Williams began to frequently team up with LB to fight Immortal. It could give them much needed credibility and more screen time. Honestly, only good can come out of this.

London Brawling would be intense, I think a program with Beer Money would also have a lot of good one liners for both of the teams to crack on each other. Ink Inc is Tnas jobbing tag team I've noticed lately. However for some reason I think the Gen Me program with Young and OJ can be solid if TNA books Young and OJ properly. Dont forget Amazing Reds "brother" debuted tonight so that might also be a team in the making.

London Brawling will definately freshen up the tag division, even though I love the division I can't help but think it dries up too fast because Beer Money aren't currently doing anything special in it and I'm not a huge fan of GenME and Ink Inc. I do love London brawling but I can't help but feel it needs Douglas Williams and then they could portray themselves as faces or heels but very technical wrestlers (In British Invasion, Terry just ruined the look in my eyes...). Can't wait to see what they are gonna do.

I think they're gonna be a tweener team kinda like Beer Money used to be. They'll fued with whoever are champions after the MCMG/Beer Money fued is over and hopefully they'll win the titles. I can see them teaming up with Doug Williams to reform the new British Invasion or London Brawling stable. They could also be part of the alliance against Immortal...

Immortal:

Jeff Hardy
Jeff Jarrett
Abyss
AJ Styles
Kaz
Robert Rhoode
James Storm
Rob Terry

Alliance:
RVD
Mr. Anderson
Matt Morgan
Doug Williams
Desmond Wolfe
Magnus
Chris Sabin
Alex Shelley

I'm not surprised that any LB comeback has been held off until now because they can be given significant ring time during the UK in January. That is great for me because I'm going to see them. Both Magnus and Wolfe were super over last year and a repeat versus Beer Money or MCMG could be a classic.

I'm very excited that London Brawling will be back and tagging pretty soon. I thought that they were a pretty good tag team and it sucks that they never got their title shot at the MCMG because of Wolfe's injury. I am also that Wolfe is healthy now and that we will see back soon. Wolfe is a phenomenal talent Great in the ring and on the Mic. The addition of London Brawling in 2011 helps the Tag Division alot because I can see them as viable Tag Team Champions like The MCMG and Beer Money, this team add more depth to the division which I think is needed. I think that a feud between London Brawling and MCMG or Beer Money could be really good and produce some really good matches. I can't wait to see Desmond Wolfe and London Brawling back in action.

I reckon not only will LB be back, but we'll see a partial reunion of the British Invasion, with Wolfe instead of the big sheep shagger. Either way, Wolfe will be back soon, maybe as soon as this week. I reckon Beer Money will take the titles from MCMG, setting up a feud with London Brawling. I'm really looking forward to having Wolfe back. TNA needs him to bring a shred of credibility back. I'll certainly be marking out when he gets on the mic again.

Only sad thing is no Chelsea. Other than that how could you not be looking forward to them coming back. They had a decent beginning of something interesting working until Wolfe had his situation and it would be nice to see them get a chance to build on that. The timing is good as others have mentioned as well. I also like the possibilities of adding something fresh to the tag division to give it a boost.

You are of course right. TNA's tag division IS their new X-division. It's the guilty secret draw of the company when people like to pretend to come see Jeff hardy or Anderson, a hell of a lot of people watch just to see MCMG and beer money mix it up. The tag team division in TNA is superb and there is no harm in adding another potentially great team into the mix with Desmond and Brutus, two very charismatic guys, heading it off.

I'd go so far as to say that with their addition it is the perfect division in all of wrestling. MCMG - high flying face champs, beer money - technical contenders from a major faction, Gen Me - up and coming high flying heels, Ink inc. - Filler face team for xplosion etc.., EY and Orlando Jordan - Face team for filler and entertainment (comedy) purposes and finally London brawling - Very technical all star team who can do promos and always stir things up. They have a good mix of different wrestling styles, heels and faces, good talkers and good athletes.

TNA has fucked up a lot since hogan and Bischoff took over, but one place they have flourished is tag teams and it gives me at least one reason to keep watching. In comparison to WWE, MCMG are better than WWE's entire division (no offence kozlov).

London Brawling will be yet another phenomenal and yet different addition to an already stellar cast.

First off I am very happy over the fact that LB could be returning to impact anyday now. That mall vignette was golden and I was kind of looking forward to seeing more like them before they were taken off television. Both are great wrestlers and both have great British accents, what more could you ask for.

I am actually surprised to see how many people are demoting and degrading Ink Inc on this post. Yes the team wrestles on xplosion sometimes but had a solid schedule of impacts during the middle of the year. They just recently switched places with OJ and Young which were part of the xplosion-only list for some time. At least Both Neil and Moore have similar looks and actually look like a tag team...more than i could say for the team they were switched for. And do people forgot that that Ink Inc put on a great match for the #1 contendership just a month ago against Beer Money. They are not my favorite team but they definitely run circles around any current team in wwe and are definitely better than OJ and Young. Give them some credit.

I would love to see London Brawling return. I have wondered where Magnus went off to after Wolfe got hurt and it appears Magnus has now returned. With Wolfes return emanate it makes sense and adds some more depth to the Tag Team division and more importantly it adds a new challenger to the belts which is something I think is important right now seeing as the MCMG needs to face someone new. My only worry is what it will do to the British Invasion 2.0, if my memory is serving me correct didn't they reunite without Rob Terry? If not no big deal, but if the British Invasion did reform I don't think it is right of TNA to just disband them so soon. At the very least I think that Wolfe, Magnus and Williams should all team together under the British Invasion banner but the tag team should go by London Brawling.

London Brawling are damn near essential at this point, as TNA is lacking in tag teams. Beer Money and The MCMGuns are great, but how many times can TNA go to that well? InkHawks and Generation Me are the mid-carders, though I'm not sure Ink Inc has had a proper feud with either team. The less said about Orlando Jordan & Eric Young, the better.

London Brawling coming back shakes things up.
