IMO I think they should use the KOTR to elevate talent that has had a hard time getting over, guys like Shelton, Morrison, Kennedy, guys who could use the chance to get elevated to the next stage of their careers, the Miz wouldnt benefit at all from the KOTR rub at all.
Think about it Kennedy has been jerking the Main event and they could use the KOTR to give the guy a proper push, a way to make kennedy into something other then a guy who keeps getting injured.
Morrision could use it to elevate himself to the next level, he has been jerking the upper midcard for quite some time since winning the ECW championship, and then getting suspended due to the whole pharmacy scandale which he and Kennedy where involved in at one point.
Shelton would be a prime candidate IMO, the wwe seems to not know what to do with the self proclaimed gold standard, he really had a good year last year with both the US title and the championship scramble in which he became a preliminary champion and was booked very strong against triple H, he has been bordeline main event midcard for years , this year should be his chance to shine, he was my main contender to win the MITB case but they have yet to pull the trigger on this guy.
The Brian Kendrick, this guy was booked upper midcard borderline main event, he has a good look, a great bodyguard that shut his mouth and did his job in Jackson, and also was a preliminary champion in the scramble match and lasted longer then every in that match, he was blown off course and became a jobber to the stars on smackdown, why not give him the chance to be elevated, i loved the whole well red kurk cobain type gimmick that they gave him, he deserves better promo time then guys like the Miz imo.
There are a number of talent here that needs the KOTR rub, but they need to actually help them elevate to the next stage otherwise it will just make the win look pointless, I do like some of the ideas of leading the win to a title match that could really help the winner elevate to main event, but the issue standing would be that guys who are already established will get the push and midcarders such as these three will lose out!
