#1 song when you were born

I'm just waiting for the first post in this thread from someone who was born while Limp Bizkit- Rollin'" was the UK number 1....

That's the Way Love Goes by Janet Jackson. But I refuse to pay credence to the American charts.

It's actually Dreams by Gabrielle. Obvs.

February 12th of the EPIC year 1985, Wham! - Careless Whisper was #1 on the charts. Great song. It was done by George Michael solo but was still under "Wham!" technically, although George Michael is often credited individually for the song.

Every time I hear someone's birth date which is 2000 or later, I feel as though it's some kind of joke... and that they're really small.

Even though I was born in '96 which is just a few years before that. =_=

Its wierd when I see people in TV shows/Films that I liked as a kid and how different they look now.

Sassafrassarassum Rilkyway!

What a choice, the duo of death...

Not only old but in a time when music was great, I get the bland and the perverted:disappointed:!

On a plus note, one of the great albums was at number one in the States...

... so that takes the edge of it somewhat;)

As an asides, while I love the Marilyn version, I hate the Lady Diana rip off and think the only song that comes close to being as blatantly insulting is Cliff Richard's deplorable Millennium Prayer (the Lord's Prayer to Auld Lang Sang):let_it_all_out:
