WZCW's Mr Excitement
We are back from commercial and Ricky Runn is being held to the mat by Steven Kurtesy. The former World Champion has the charismatic youngster grounded with a sleeperhold. He tries to lock in a body scissors with that, but the flexible Runn is able to just keep his body out of reach.

Copeland: Welcome back to Apocalypse. Folks if you’re just turning in, during the commercial break Celeste was in the ring with Titus and tagged in Ricky Runn. The former tag team champion hit a spectacular move off the top rope and nearly ended this match in a hurry. The veteran Titus was able to kick out and keep Runn at bay to tag in Kurtesy.

Cohen: And since then the professor Kurtesy has been schooling Runn in the art of mat wrestling.

Kurtesy lies down on the mat with Runn, still applying the sleeper hold. Runn move his body around to get his feet under him and put Kurtesy in a pinning predicament. 1... 2.. Kurtesy lets go and kicks out. Runn and Kurtesy stand up and Steven advances towards Runn. Ricky shocks Kurtesy with an arm drag takedown. Kurtesy stands up and he is able to bring Runn to the mat with a headlock takedown. Runn works with way back up to his feet with Kurtesy. Kurtesy irish whips him across the ring. Runn hits the ropes near hit corner and Steamboat tags in. Runn goes low coming back and Kurtesy leaps over. Runn bounces back off the ropes and goes for a flying elbow. Kurtesy ducks and Runn ends up hitting Steamboat. Ricky gets up and is in a pissy over being hit. He yells at Runn once he gets up, which allows Kurtesy to attack. Kurtesy stuns Steamboat with a palm strike and then irish whips him into their corner. Kurtesy tags in XXX and the high flying superstar leaps over the top rope and then pulls towards the corner with the ropes, hitting a nice midsection dropkick. XXX goes to irish whip Ricky. Steamboat reverses and charges at XXX for a spear. XXX runs up the corner and flips over onto his feet, Steamboat eating the middle turnbuckle. Steamboat turns over and tags Celeste into the match. The two lock up and the female technician grabs the arm of XXX and wrenches at it. She begins to punch and kick at XXX. She lets go of the arm and goes for a roundhouse kick. XXX ducks under it. She quickly follows with a leg sweep. XXX flips over it onto his feet and runs to the ropes. Celeste turns around right into a flying forearm. XXX nips up to his feet and Celeste not far behind.

Connor: Fast, intense competition so far by these mentors and young experienced stars in WZCW. This match is really a showcase of WZCW’s depth.

The two competitors lock up. XXX slips behind Celeste and goes for the Adrenaline Rush. Celeste breaks out of it and hits a release german suplex. Celeste gets to her feet and Steamboat quickly tags in. The skinny former pirate gets down to his knees and starts elbowing the face of XXX. The ref counts to 4 and Steamboat stops the assault. He then grabs the ropes and starts to stomp on XXX. The ref again starts a 5 count and Steamboat stops at 4. Runn calls a tag and Ricky reluctantly tags in the younger Ricky. Runn leaps over the ropes and hits a rolling senton. Runn crawls over XXX for the cover. 1... 2... XXX kicks out! Runn slowly lifts XXX to his feet. XXX surprises Ricky and starts to punch him on the face. XXX hits several in a row and then goes for a spinning heel kick. Ricky ducks the kick and grabs XXX from behind. Hell Yeah! Runn doesn’t go for the pin and walks over to the turnbuckle. Steamboat tags himself in before Runn can get there. Runn doesn’t like the call as Steamboat climbs onto the top rope.

Copeland: It looked like Ricky was going for R & R, but Steamboat didn’t seem to like that.

Cohen: Steamboat simply doesn’t want Runn to screw this up.

Steamboat stands on the turnbuckle. He points down at XXX and leaps. XXX rolls out of the way and the elbow by Steamboat misses. Both corners have come alive and are shouting encouragement to their partners. XXX slowly crawls towards his corner. Steamboat rolls over and is able to tag in Celeste. XXX leaps off the mat and tags in Kurtesy. Both mentors run at each other and Kurtesy takes down Celeste with a clothesline. Celeste gets up and this time she takes Kurtesy down with a clothesline. Celeste goes to pick up Kurtesy and he is able to roll her into a pin. 1... 2.. Celeste kicks out. Kurtesy goes for a backhand and Celeste ducks under it. She grabs Kurtesy from behind and is able to backslide him into a pin. 1... 2... Kurtesy kicks out. Kurtesy stands up and Celeste goes for a roundhouse kick. Kurtesy ducks the kick. He grabs Celeste from behind and tries to lock in Hypnosis. Celeste breaks loose and knees Kurtesy in the gut. She tries to lock in an octopus stretch. Kurtesy slips out and grabs her leg. Dragonscrew by Kurtesy.

Connor: What an intense series by Kurtesy and Celeste. It’s anybodies match.

Celeste falls to her corner and Runn takes in. He leaps onto the top rope and clotheslines Kurtesy. Kurtesy rolls towards his corner and Titus tags in.

Cohen: That’ll settle this stalemate. One of these two will beat the other and I think we know who.

Titus enters the ring and Ricky leaps at him, backing Titus into the corner. Runn keeps him trapped there with kicks and punches. The ref pulls Runn off of Titus. Runn backs up and then advances right into a european uppercut. Titus hops onto the middle rope while Ricky is stunned and hits a flying clothesline. Runn rolls over onto his stomach and Titus gets ready to his The Tit Drop. Titus runs towards the ropes and Steamboat trips him when he gets there on the outside. Titus gets to his feet and turns back to Steamboat. The two start yelling at one and other allowing Runn to sneak up behind Titus. He turns Titus around and hits The Ricky Runndown! Runn with the cover. 1... 2... 3!

Harrys: Here are your winners, Celeste Crimson, Steamboat Ricky, and Ricky Runn!

Runn sits up with his arms in the air. Celeste joins him and raises his and her arms together. Ricky backs up the ramp and claps.

Connor: Steamboat is walking up the ramp looking like he was the whole reason his team won when it was Ricky who got the pin.

Cohen: Are you blind CC? Did you not see Steamboat distract Titus long enough for that doofus Ricky to score the pin. That’s a real mentor right there.

Copeland: A hard fought battle by both teams, once again showcasing WZCW’s talent.

Kurtesy and entered the ring and is tending to his partner. XXX does not look pleased at ringside, disappointed in his teams lose. Kurtesy invites him into the ring, but XXX shakes his head and storms to the back. Celeste, Ricky, and Steven all get Titus up to his feet and shake hands.

Copeland: Welcome everyone to the final days: the Apocalypse!

We suddenly cut from the scene in the arena to backstage where a camera is frantic to find its correct positioning and people are running past at an increasingly fast rate. The scene is one of chaos in the back as a crowd of people blocks the camera’s view of the incident that has just occurred. The camera fights to get through the crowd as a scream of anguish is heard and a voice can be heard asking if “that hurts”. Finally the camera is through the sea of flesh and we can clearly see the King for a Day, John Constantine slumped on the floor, clutching his ankle in agony. He is gritting his teeth to dull the pain, but it’s clear he’s in severe discomfort. Matt Tastic, Constantine’s partner in their Tag Team Championship opportunity tonight is stood beside him as a Doctor analyses the ankle of the monarch. In steps the General Manager of Aftershock Chuck Myles with a look of surprise and anger. He stands over Constantine:

Myles: What happened?

Tastic: I found him like this. He was down in a heap clutching his ankle and then the doctor came by.

Myles has a look of concern. He looks left and looks right, hysterical as one of the top talents in WZCW and a match could be potentially shelved here. Myles taps the doctor on the shoulder and asks the obvious question:

Myles: Can he wrestle tonight?

Doctor: I can’t be sure, I need to run some more tests, but I’d say it’s doubtful.

Myles runs his hands through his hair in disbelief. He sucks in air to stop himself from screaming. He storms off through the plethora of bodies backstage. The doctor continues analysing Constantine.

This contest is set for one fall!

On his way to the ring from Toledo, Ohio, weighing 247 lbs, he is the King of Mayhem, Alex Bowen!!

Bowen walks out onto stage and begins slowly making his way down the ramp as he takes in the arena atmosphere.

Copeland: It hasn’t exactly been a successful couple of weeks for the former longest reigning Mayhem Champ Alex Bowen.

Connors: After losses to Triple X and Chris K.O. Bowen looks to rebound by defeating the returning superstar The Grand Mystique who has not only defeated number one contender “Showtime” Cougar but has recently also co-Eurasian champion and WZCW legend Steamboat Ricky.

Cohen: Yes, The Grand Mystique has been damn impressive since his return, while Bowen hasn’t been doing that great. I don’t expect that to change tonight.

Copeland: Well Jack I wouldn’t count out Bowen at all….hey, hey wait a minute!

As Bowen gets halfway down the ramp, the lights cut out and when they come back, GM is smashing Bowen in the back of the head sending him rolling down the rest of the ramp onto the floor. Mystique then kicks Bowen in the gut and then proceeds to repeatedly smash his face onto the floor.

Connors: Mystique is looking to take a cheap advantage by attacking Bowen by behind!

Cohen: Haha! That Mystique is a smart man; I would have done the same thing.

Mystique then picks Bowen up and throws him right into the barricade. He once again takes control of the King of Mayhem and bangs his head off the metal pole on the outside corner of the ring. He then goes for an Irish whip but Bowen reverses it and sends Mystique crashing into the steel steps. Mystique makes his way up quickly but Bowen meets him with a vicious tackle through the barricade and the two begin to brawl in the crowd with Bowen gaining the upper hand relentlessly pounding the man of Universal Evil.

Copeland: By god this has turned into a flat out brawl!

Cohen: These two are really going at it and the match has not officially even started yet!

Mystique rakes the eyes of Bowen and begins crawling away from the fight. Alex becomes enraged and charges at Mystique but gets send head first into the steel steps with a drop toe hold. Mystique rips a chair from under one of the fans and looks to smash it on Bowen’s head as he is still recovering on the steps. GM brings the chair up and takes it down with force but Bowen is able to move out of the way just in time as the chair makes a thunderous sound as it hits the steel. Mystique clutches his hands as Bowen chucks the smaller of the two steps straight into the face of his opponent sending him to the floor.

Connors: What a move by Bowen, are we even going to see a match between these two tonight?

Cohen: Cowardly move by Bowen to use the steel steps.

Copeland: What are you talking about Jack? The Grand Mystique was going to do even worse to him!

Bowen then chucks Mystique in the ring and he immediately scurries over the other side of the mat and clutches the middle rope. Alex enters the ring looking to induce more pain but the ref cuts him off. The ref explains to Bowen that this not Mayhem rules and sends him back into the opposite corner of The Grand Mystique. He then asks Mystique if he’s ready to start the match and after a few seconds of glaring between him and Bowen he grudgingly nods his head and the ref rings the bell.

Copeland: Well it looks like we’re actually going to get a sanctioned match between these two.

Connors: What condition are these two even going to be in after what just happened?

Cohen: These two must really have it out for each other.

Almost immediately after the bell sounds Bowen sprints out of his corner and begins pounding, striking, scratching and whatever else is legal to Mystique who’s still clutching the second rope in the corner curling up into a ball to defend himself. The ref pulls Bowen off but Bowen pushes him aside and continues his attack. The ref begins counting to five but Bowen ignores it. The ref doesn’t want to disqualify Bowen so once again he tries to stop Bowen but Alex shoves him into the middle of the ring and while his back is turned Mystique delivers a low blow right in front of the ref! The official immediately calls for the bell.

And here is your winner, by Disqualification, Alex Bowen!

Connors: The Grand Mystique purposely got himself DQ’d there.

Copeland: Right you are Cat; Mystique obviously wasn’t looking for a fair fight tonight with the sneak attack and obviously didn’t want any part of Bowen after seeing his retaliation.

Cohen: I don’t know what you guys are talking about, all I saw was a man doing what he needed to do to protect himself from a raving lunatic named Alex Bowen.

Mystique taunts Bowen for a few seconds and then leaves the ring and attempts to make his way up the ramp but Bowen refuses to let him get away and he attacks Mystique on the outside. He begins smashing his face on the ground and stomping him in the ribs. He picks Mystique up and throws him into the ring but he immediately rolls out the other side and looks to escape over the barricade. Bowen follows and stops GM and begins to repeatedly smash his head on the announce table. He tosses what seems like a lifeless Mystique onto the ground and plays to the crowd a bit. Once he turns around he is met with a crystal ball to the face seemingly out of nowhere by Mystique!

Copeland: Where did that crystal ball come from?!

Connors: How did Mystique even make it his feet so quickly? That crystal ball literally came out of nowhere!

Cohen: I’m telling you that Mystique is magic.

Bowen lays on the ground lifeless as the shards of the broken crystal lay everywhere around ringside. Mystique raises his arms in victory as the ref tends to Bowen as we go to a promotional commercial.

Harrys: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following match is singles contest that is scheduled for one fall!

The Masked Gentlemen steps out from the backstage with his signature cane, top hat, and cape. He twirls his cane elegantly and then points it out at the roaring crowd.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Paris, France, weighing 175 pounds, he is The Masked Gentleman!

Copeland: Now, here is an up-and-comer that the crowd has really bought into. This kid has been nothing but spectacular since his arrival here, and now he is on the fast track for the Elite X title.

Cohen: Not so fast Seabass. Let us not forget that he one hellacious mountain to climb in order to get there. He has to beat the most underrated superstar in the business today, Sam Smith! I don’t think that will happen here tonight.

The Gent has now made it to the ring and has removed his entrance attire and handed off to a ring official. He shakes his limbs as he waits for his opponent.

Sam Smith immediately enters onto the ramp after the start of his music. He looks like a man on a mission as he storms towards the ring. The crowd receives him coldly.

Harrys: And his opponent, from Washington, D.C., weighing 235 pounds, Sam Smith!

Cohen: Here we go. We have a term in our business called the “it” factor. Well, here “it” is.

Connor: Listen, Sam Smith is a great ring technician, there is no denying that, but what we have here are two young men who are still at the prime of their youth and I don’t see how anyone can really determine who has the edge in this match.

Cohen: Simple Connor, it is called using your brain.

We catch the tail-end of Smith’s mocking pose towards the crowd before he moves towards the opposite turnbuckle of the Gent. Now, with both men in their respective corners, the referee looks at them both. He receives nodding gestures and then rings the bell.

Both men rush towards the center of the ring, and we get the first glimpse of action by a leaping Gent. He jumps towards Smith, and catches him off guard. He is able to grapple the head and uses his momentum to turn Smith and attempt a tornado DDT right off the bat, but Smith won’t let it happen. Smith grabs the waist of Gent during the turn process and throws him off his neck. Gent lands on his feet, but is met by a swinging leg from Smith. Gent ducks and the round house kick is unsuccessful. Smith regains his footing after the failed attempt, but Gent quickly approaches him and throws him at the far-end ropes. Smith’s back bounces off the ropes and when he comes back he attempts to do a running clothesline, but Gent ducks and sends Smith into another set of ropes. He bounces off them and comes back to an airborne Gent! Gent connects with his leg and it’s a leg lariat to the head of the former Elite X Champion.

Smith hits the mat hard, but quickly recovers to his feet. Gent is also on his feet as he lunges at Smith, but Smith reverses the situation and grabs hold of Gent and picks him up into a sidewalk slam. SMACK! The back of Gent hits the mat as he grunts in pain. Smith goes for the cover, 1..Kick Out! Smith jumps up to his feet and picks up Gent. He tucks the head and executes a snap suplex on the Gent. Immediately after the impact, Smith gets to his feet and begins tugging at the mask of Gent. This receives heavy heat from the crowd as Gent tries to fight off Smith’s hands. The referee tries to intervene, but this causes Smith to get mad and get into the referee’s face. The referee backs off, and Smith returns to Gent. He reaches down for the mask again, but this time he eats a kick to the face from the grounded Gent. This causes Smith to stumble backwards from the blow, and Gent gets to his feet with a pop from the crowd. Gent runs up to Smith and sling shots the back of his hand into the chest of Smith. A loud smacking noise can be heard from the slap as the crowd shouts “ooooh”. Again, another slap and another reaction from the crowd. One more, two more, and now Gent grabs the arm of Smith and sends him towards the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Gent grabs the top ropes of where he is at as he prepares for Smith’s return, but he is surprised to see Smith grapple the ropes on the other side and exit under the bottom rope and out to the outside.

Cohen: Smart thinking there by Sam!

Smith is on the outside and is harassing some booing fans that are across the barricade. He curses something at them, but an unusual pop from the crowd causes him to turn his attention back to the bring. However, he has to elevate his chin to find his foe because the Gent has just propelled himself off of the top rope, which sends him crashing into Smith with a cross body! Smith crumbles onto the outside mat with Gent as well.

Copeland: Oh my god! The Gent just used his body as a weapon.

Both men lay on the ground on the outside: Smith is down from the cross body and Gent is down from the recoil of the maneuver. The referee has begun to count them both out and he is at the three count. Gent finally begins to stir as the referee reaches four. He slowly picks up the groggy Smith as the referee reaches five. At six, Gent now has the body of Smith against the apron. Finally at the count of seven, Gent rolls Smith back in and gets into the ring himself. He makes the cover on Smith with the crowd perked up, 1...2.Kick Out!

Gent is on his knees as he pushes back his sweaty hair. We see him slightly holding his back as he gets to his feet. He grabs Smith by the hair and brings him to his knees. Gent then runs to the ropes on the opposite side of the ring.

Connor: We have seen this before, the Gent is hoping to perform a running clothesline to Smith on his knees.

Copeland: It is one of the most devastating moves in his arsenal.

We now see Gent coming off the ropes with full momentum, but just before he gets to Smith we see Smith step up and connect with a spinebuster! Gent’s back connects with the mat and he grunts in pain as he quickly favors it with his hand. Smith pants as he steps up to his feet and heads toward a corner turnbuckle near the two of them. He ascends to the top as Gent still lays on his back in pain. Smith is facing away from Gent as the crowd begins to arise.

Connor: It never fails, even a heel like Smith can get a reaction from the crowd with a high-flying maneuver.

Cohen: Maybe the crowd just finally respects him. Maybe that is why they are cheering.

Smith takes one look back at Gent to make sure he is still grounded, and then rockets himself off the turnbuckle and into a black flip. The moonsault comes to end, but Smith only finds a pair of knees! The crowd is roaring at the reversal by Gent, and Smith is gasping for air as he grabs his stomach in pain. He is wailing on the other side of the ring as Gent slowly makes his way to his feet.

Copeland: The moonsault failed! And now Gent is in a prime position to take control of the match!

The Gent slowly makes his way over to the wailing Smith. He finally gets to him and picks him up by the head. He tucks the head and wraps up Smith’s arms behind his back. He lifts him up and executes a beautiful butterfly suplex! Gent crawls for the cover, 1.…2..Kick Out!

Gent claps his hands in frustration as he gingerly makes his way to his feet. Somehow, Smith has also began to stir in the middle of the ring. Gent backs up and is now using a nearby top rope in order to support his standing. Smith is on all fours in the middle of the ring as Gent surveys him. The crowd knows what is coming and they began to perk up and cheer wildly for Gent. He signals to the crowd and bounces off the ropes and runs towards Smith. With Smith on all fours, he hits a Running Curb Stomp on the back of the neck of his foe. Smith collapses to the ground, and Gent quickly drops to his knees turns him over on his back. Gent makes the cover under the raining cheer of the crowd,

Kick Out!

Connor: Oh my! That was about as close of a two-count as you will ever get.

Copeland: The crowd is going nuts as Smith just pulled out a picture-perfect kick out at the last second.

Cohen: Yes!!

Gent is in total shock as he ascends to his feet and looks down at Smith. He pushes back his oily hair as tries to think of what to do next. He looks over at the turnbuckle and then back at the practically dead Smith. He grabs the arm of Smith and begins to drag him over to the turnbuckle. This takes a few seconds, but the crowd cheers him on as he does this.

Connor: It looks like Gent will try to execute his Guillotine Leg Drop from the top rope in order to put Smith away for good.

Cohen: It is never going to work Connor. Never I tell you!

Gent now has Smith in prime position, so ascends the turnbuckle. He holds his back as he rises to a full on standing position on the top of the turnbuckle.

Copeland: Oh my.

The crowd is roaring him on as he raises both his hands as a signal. In this small split second, Smith uses the nearby ropes to quickly pull himself up to his feet. Gent doesn't know how to react, but Smith knows exactly what to do. He shakes the top rope and this sends Gent falling down onto the turnbuckle, manhood first. The crowd barely has time to boo, because Smith has now pulled Gent off of the turnbuckle and onto his shoulders. Smith screams as he hits the devastating Nightfall on Gent’s face!

Smith goes for the cover amidst a silenced crowd,

KICK OUT!

The camera instantly zooms in on a shocked Smith, who is looking at Gent like he is some kind of ghost. The entire crowd is on their feet as they cheer on their masked hero; a complete mirror of their reaction before the cover.

Cohen: That had to be a three!

Connor: I think the Gent owes his mask a steak dinner, because I think it just softened the blow of that knee to the face from Smith.

Gent has the crowd behind him, but this doesn’t affect Smith. He gets to his feet and turns the Gent over on his back. He wraps the legs of Gent around his own and turns him over. He squats and applies pressure on the masked man! Smith has his deadly Sharpshooter locked in! Gent screams in pain as Smith applies the strained pressure onto the back of his opponent.

Copeland: This is not good for the Gent. Sam Smith is targeting the back of Gent, who has been favoring it the whole entire match.

Cohen: Here we see it.

Copeland: See what?

Cohen: The “it” factor Seabass. The “it” factor.

The crowd is jumping up and down as the Gent reaches out in pain. He is hoping to find the ropes somewhere, but he is a good five feet away from them. Smith roars as he continues to apply the pressure, but Gent is resilient. The crowd pops as Gent begins a slow army crawl towards the ropes. Smith is trying to resist the attempt, but it is difficult without loosening the hold. One elbow at a time, the Gent makes his way closer and closer to the ropes. The crowd is producing max decibel levels as he is nearly a finger lengths away from the ropes.

Connor: Can he do it? Can Gent grab the rope! He is almost there.

The Gent extends his fingers as far as possible as he attempts to grab the rope in front of him. He goes for it, but as he is reaching for it, Smith pulls Gent away and drags him back into the center of the ring.

Cohen: Haha!

With the crowd roaring and a six foot two-hundred thirty-five pound man on his back, the Gent screams out in pain. He has no choice, but to let down the screaming fans. Tap, tap, tap goes the hand of The Masked Gentleman and the referee signals for the bell. Smith immediately lets go of the hold.

Harrys: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match by submission, Sam Smith!

Smith’s music begins to play as the referee holds up his arm in victory, but Smith shrugs it off. The referee then tends to the Gent as the crowd serenades Smith with boos.

Cohen: You can love him or hate him, but you have to respect him. This man is destined to regain the Elite X title. You heard it from me first people.

Connor: An impressive victory from Sam Smith, but The Masked Gentlemen has little to be ashamed of. This was a great performance by both men.

Copeland: Indeed it was.

We see Sam Smith walking up the ramp with his music playing in the background. We get a final shot of the Gent getting to his feet in the ring as we cut from the match.

********************************************************************

We’re backstage once more as Chris K.O., the “White Knight of WZCW” is talking with a random backstage official. They are clearly having a hearty conversation and enjoying themselves when suddenly, “Showtime” David Cougar, the number one contender enters the frame. The crowd springs to life as two of their favourites are face-to-face. K.O.’s face becomes serious as “Showtime” has a slight grin, though is mostly serious. K.O. briefly turns to his official friend:

K.O.: I’ll talk to you later, alright?

The official nods and exits. Now “Showtime” has K.O.’s full attention.

K.O.: What do you want?

Showtime: I just wanted to wish you luck tonight and to pass something along to you.

K.O.: Oh yeah, and what’s that?

Showtime: I’ve been watching this situation between you and Holmes develop over the last few weeks and I think it’s clear that one of you is next for the World Champion, regardless of who that is. Tonight I’m fighting for my career and if I can win, I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that achievement than by facing you for the gold.

K.O.: I like the sound of that idea, but what if you lose tonight?

Showtime: Then it all comes to an end, and you’ll have to convince Drake that you’re the next in line. Just think about that.

Cougar’s expression is a deadly serious one as he leaves the scene, backing out to let K.O. contemplate what he just said.

Harrys: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is a Six-Man Relay Match! It will be contested under a 25 minute time limit, where the final winner of said match will receive a one-week immunity in the Aftershock Mentor Program, and the final loser will be eliminated!

The crowd pops at the consequences of the match.

Cohen: Well, here we go. My pick to win this Relay Match, Arashi.

Copeland: You would. Well, just to clarify a bit: In a Relay Match, there can be an endless amount of pins, submissions, or Disqualifications. However, when a person takes a fall in this match, they must exit and allow another man, or woman, to get a shot at the temporary “winner”.

Connor: Not only that, but if for any reason, at anytime, a competitor is thrown to the outside of the ring; the other participants may use whatever force they deem necessary to get them back into the ring.

Cohen: *chuckles* That is one of my favorite parts of this match. Not only that, but this entire match will be overseen by two long-time WZCW mainstays, Titus and Steamboat Ricky.

Copeland: Yes, both men on opposite sides of a six-man tag match we saw earlier tonight. It will be interesting to see how that said match will affect their attitudes in their jobs here.

A moment of silence finally befalls the announce table, as we finally realize that Arashi’s music has been playing for a little over a minute, but he has not appeared from behind the curtains. The crowd has began to boo, due to the lack of advancement in the entrance. Suddenly, we cut backstage.

A cameraman is following behind two familiar men. Vance Bateman and Chuck Myles both have headsets on as they rush down the hallway. They both look pissed as Bateman makes a snide remark about the Mentorship Program falling apart. They both pass by a backstage worker as they stalk the hallway. Myles addresses him.

Myles: Where the hell are they? Where is Arashi?

The worker shrugs as Myles pushes him out of the way. The two of them continue down the corridors of the arena until they finally turn a corner and then go into a full sprint. They approach an open part of the backstage area, where all six mentees are located at.

Kyrpto is hunched over and panting, Isabel Stone is cracking her knuckles and shaking her head, The Angel looks on edge, Darren Bull spits and crosses his arms, and Arashi and Scott Williams are on the ground, both of them holding their head in pain.

The camera pans to a shot of priceless look on Myles’ face. His mouth is gaping with his eyebrows in weird conjunction. He has the “huh” look upon him.

Myles: What the hell?!

Bateman interjects.

Bateman: What the hell happened here?

Krypto: You see, the human referee brought us all here to refresh us on the Relay Match rules, but a spat happened after he left between the six of us. Those two on the groun-

Myles holds up his hands in disappointment.

Myles: You know what, I don’t want to hear it. What are you guys? A bunch of kids?! We have a show to run: a pay-per-view, may I remind you.

Myles stops for a moment, as Titus and Steamboat Ricky both enter the part of the hallway where they are at. Titus is dabbing the sweat off his face with a towel from his earlier match, as Ricky looks amused by the current situation.

Myles: And where have you two been? You are suppose to be keeping these six out of trouble!

Titus and Ricky both shrug, and then you can hear a faint laugh from inside the arena.

Myles: Get the four that are capable out there to the arena and get this match underway!

Krypto, Isabel, Angel, and Bull all walk past Myles with their heads down as Ricky and Titus follow them from behind and escort them to the ring. We pan back to Myles who shouts down the hallway after them.

Myles: Oh, and since you have wasted our time, the match will now only be 20 minutes!

Myles then looks down at Arashi and Williams on the ground.

Myles: I will deal with you two later!

Myles and Bateman stomp away, and we cut back to inside the arena. After a few seconds, we see the emergence of the four mentees with Ricky and Titus following hazily behind them. The crowd cheers them all on as they make the walk down the entrance ramp.

Cohen: Look at this Seabass. These rookies have barely even scratched the surface and they are already delaying pay-per-views. What a shame.

Copeland: Well, I don’t really know how to justify it, but we were all young once.

Cohen: Young and dumb!

Connor: An interesting note for everyone, this is one of the first times in many weeks that all of our rookies will compete without their mentor by their side. This for them to win, and them alone.

Cohen: Yeah, but what about Angel getting Titus out here? That is kind of cheap.

Copeland: Titus is only supposed to act as an enforcer, and abandon his mentorship post for this one match.

Titus and Ricky get instructions from the referee at ringside to pick two superstars to get into the match and start the whole thing. They elect Krypto and Darren Bull to start and so they enter the ring.

Now, with Krypto and Darren Bull in opposite corners, Isabel and Angel outside on opposite sides of the ring, and Titus and Ricky overseeing the entire the thing, the referee finally rings the bell. 20 Minutes flash up on the titantron and the clock begins to count down.

Connor: Here we go, the finest 20 minutes of up-and-coming action is underway.

A surprising Krypto chant breaks out from several people on the floor seats. Apparently, his new found alliance with Saboteur and Saxton has granted him some band-wagon smarks that cheer him wildly. Krypto waves at them and feeds off of this. Darren Bull does not look amused in his corner.

The two of them walk towards each other and meet a few feet apart in the middle of the ring. Krypto displays some makeshift karate moves at the air, and the crowd responds with a slight appraisal. Krypto then gets into position of what appears to be a Crane Kick, Saxton’s signature move. However, he botches the move and it sends him stumbling forward and towards Darren Bull.

Bull responds by whipping his arm back and then sling-shotting it forward. A booming clothesline from Bull sends Krypto crashing down hard to the mat. The crowd lets out an “oo” from the impact. Darren Bull makes the cover, 1.…2.…3!

Cohen: The “finest” 20 minutes, eh Connor?

Krypto proceeds to roll out of the ring, as Darren Bull stands up, but he is met by a flying Angel from the top rope! He connects with the torso of Bull via a cross body! The move sends both of them to the ground with Angel rolling off and getting back to his feet. Bull holds his back, but regains his footing composure as well. Bull turns towards Angel, who speeds up towards him and ascends from his feet with a leap. By instinct, Bull puts out his hands as Angel’s feet are supported by Bull’s midsection and grip. Angel then grabs the neck of Bull and yanks back. This sends them falling backwards on Angel’s side and he turns it into a monkey flip! Bull gets good air off of the springboard push from Angel and it sends him crashing into the ropes. Angel spins around from the ground and finds himself back to his feet and in the middle of applause from the crowd.

Connor: The finest 20 minutes, Cohen.

Angel quickly acts on the fallen Bull and pulls him away from the ropes in order to make the cover, 1.…2.…Kick Out! Angel jumps to his feet, and grabs the arm of Bull. He pulls him to a sitting position and then steps back. Shuffle kick to the jaw of Bull! The upper part of his torso crumbles back down into a laying position as Angel makes the cover, 1.…2.…3!

Copeland: Well, two pins already and we just hit the 15 minute mark.

Isabel has now slithered into the ring as Angel and her stand on opposite sides of the squared circle. She cracks her knuckles as Angel shakes his arms in preparation. They both charge each other and meet up in the center. They lock up, but Isabel is earnest on gaining the first strike. She sends a knee to the gut of Angel and this breaks the hold. Angel holds his gut as Isabel straight-up slaps him in the face. Angel shakes the pain off from his face and turns back towards her, but he is met by a charging Isabel. She has her shoulder tucked and locks her arms around Angel’s waist. She proceeds to push him back into the nearest turnbuckle as Angel shuffles his feet in order to keep his balance. Once backing him into the turnbuckle, Isabel turns her elbows into vicious weapons. One elbow strike to the face, two elbow strikes to the face, three elbow strikes to the face! Angel slumps in the corner as Isabel steps back and blows a kiss to him in a mocking manner. The crowd boos her gesture.

Connor: Isabel Stone certainly has a come long away since her arrival in WZCW.

Isabel returns to the slumped Angel in the corner, but she is met by an elbow from Angel himself! Isabel grabs her face and shakes her head in disapproval. She responds with a gut wrenching spear into the abdomen of Angel! Isabel then proceeds to reach down and grab the legs of Angel and flips him out of the turnbuckle and crashing into the outside mat!

Isabel screams “hit him!” as Bull quickly makes his way over to the fallen Angel!

Cohen: This is my favorite part!

Copeland: And we have reached the 10 minute mark as well.

The moment Bull gets to Angel he immediately begins stomping away at the angelic one. Isabel claps her hands and jumps up and down in glee as Bull beats up her current competitor. This beating draws a response from Titus, who has now made his way over to where Bull and Angel are at. We cut to a shot of Ricky, who seems to be now sitting down a chair near the announcer’s desk. He seems to be uninterested in really enforcing anything.

Titus urges Bull to throw Angel back into the ring. Isabel screams “don’t do it” from inside the ring. Bull is caught in-between Titus and Isabel both barking him orders. He looks up at Titus and then at Isabel. Isabel winks at him seductively and this enough to make up Bull’s mind. He pushes Titus back, but he quickly learns that you don’t push a WZCW Legend. Titus, with two stiff palms, sends Bull flying back. He then proceeds to help Angel up and rolls him into the ring. We see him throwing his hands up and looking at Ricky across the ring, but Ricky just shrugs in response.

Copeland: There seems to be some conflict between Ricky and Titus here about what exactly their “enforcing” job requires.

Cohen: Ricky was right Seabass, Titus was just helping his poor little rookie from a good ole beating. Give me a break!

Angel has now rolled himself into the center of the ring. He is on his back, and Isabel has now ascended a turnbuckle in a nearby corner. She signals for it and hundreds of flashes go off as Isabel lunges forward and hits her finisher, Crash Course, on the head of Angel. Angel’s body jolts from the impact, but he remains motionless after that solitary movement. Isabel makes the cover, 1.….2.….3!

Angel begins to roll out of the ring as Bull enters the ring again. The camera pans over and we see that Krypto is chatting up with the smarks from earlier that are across the barricade. One of them tells him to look at the ring, and appears to say some alien cuss word as he tells the smark bye and makes his way to ringside.

Connor: Bad luck there for Krypto. Time is waning down in this match, and he may of just missed his chance at getting immunity.

Cohen: Poor showing Connor, just a poor showing. Like mentors, like mentee. I suppose.

We return to what is happening in the ring, but maybe we don’t want too. Bull and Isabel seem to be competing in some kind of posing contest. They are both striking seductive looks at the audience with sexy poses. The crowd lets them have an earful of what they think of the two of them. Boos galore fill the arena.

Copeland: This is what happens when you get two divas into the ring.

Cohen: The best 20 minutes, huh?

Connor: No comment.

The posing finally ceases as Bull and Isabel both walk towards each other in a non-aggressive way. It appears that Isabel is going to let Bull have a kiss! She tells him to close his eyes and pucker-up. Bull does this, but he doesn’t get a kiss. He gets rolled up by the sneaky little devil into a pin! 1.….2.….3!

Copeland: What? Wow!

Isabel quickly gets to her feet and laughs manically at her own seductive trap. Bull looks very upset by the three count and begins to argue with the referee. Isabel laughs as Bull gets into the referee’s face. Finally, the referee tells him to take it up with the enforcers. Bull locates Titus on the outside and quickly gets out of the ring to address him. Titus doesn’t offer any help and tells him to go talk to Ricky. Bull then goes over to Ricky, who is still sitting down. Bull begins by talking, but it quickly elevates to screaming after Ricky practically ignores him. Finally, Ricky gets up as if he appears to be doing something. However, he picks up the steel chair that he was sitting on and folds it. CRACK! A steel chair to the skull of Bull sends him down on the outside mat. The crowd responds quite well to this. Isabel is holding her hands over her mouth, trying to hide her smile over what just happened. Ricky unfolds his chair and sits back down.

Cohen: Now that is enforcement!

Copeland: Enforcement? I think that was hardly necessary.

Connor: Darren Bull seems to be out for good, and we have just entered into the final 5 minutes of this match!

Krypto is now in the ring with Isabel. The two of them step to the center and they begin insulting each other. Isabel is using alien slurs while Krypto is speaking jibberish. The crowd begins to pop by the two of them getting into each other’s faces. Energy begins to rise at the climax of our match!

Connor: With Angel still down from that Crash Course from earlier and Darren Bull down from a chair shot. This appears to be our final two! If Isabel can just not get pinned for these final few minutes, she will win the immunity and escape elimination. However, if she or Krypto is pinned in these final minutes, they will be eliminated!

We meet a breaking point in the insults as Isabel slaps Krypto on the face. Krypto stumbles back, but responds by a quick run and drop kick to the knees of Isabel. She grunts as she falls to all fours. This allows Krypto to run to the nearby ropes and leap to the second rope. By this time, Isabel is back on her feet, but Krypto has lunged off the second rope and turned it into a springboard kick on the sassy broad! This sends Isabel crumbling and onto her back. Krypto goes for the cover, 1.… upward smack to Krypto’s nose! This sends him backing away in pain from Isabel, who is slowly getting to her feet. Krypto shakes the pain out of his nose as he approaches Isabel. Isabel grips the waist of Krypto and is able to execute a backbend drop on Krypto’s head due to his size. Krypto grips his head in pain as Isabel crawls for the cover as fast as she can, 1...2..Kick Out!

Isabel screams in frustration as she attempts to lock in the Scream Lock on Krypto. He flails in order to avoid being put into the submission.

Connor: A little under 2 minutes left!

The Scream Lock is almost locked in from behind Krypto, but he uses his flexible small body to his advantage and is able to somehow get his ankles locked around the neck of Isabel! This awkward position causes Isabel to give up trying to put on the Scream Lock, and she stands up, allow Krypto to do an inverted version of a scissor-head take down. This throws Isabel in a barrel-roll motion onto the ground and she conveniently lands on her butt in a sitting position. Krypto pulls himself up to his feet and gets into position for his finisher. An Alienator via Krypto sends a stiff kick to the pretty face of Isabel! She falls backwards into a laying position and Krypto makes the cover, he kicks his feet in excitement as the referee counts and the crowd cheers wildly,

3!

Krypto gets up to his feet and jumps up and down in joy! The crowd celebrates with him.

Connor: Wow oh wow! With just 45 seconds left in the match Krypto seems like the sure winner and Isabel the loser.

Copeland: Wait, look!

The crowd are in a booing frenzy as Arashi and Williams make their way down the entrance ramp in a dead sprint. They are both shoving each other as they try to beat each other to the ring. In perfect unison, the two of them enter under the ropes and into the match with Krypto. The referee doesn’t know who the legal man is. So, this sends Williams and Arashi into a furious debate about who should get out. However, their argument is their folly as a low dropkick from Krypto connects stiffly to legs of the both of them. This sends them collapsing to their knees in pain. Krypto does a backwards roll and gets into a prime position for some excellent kicking. A double Alienator goes from head to head. Spit, or maybe even teeth, goes flying from both men as the planet seems to align with this perfectly executed buzz saw kick. With both men down, there is only 10 seconds left on the clock. Krypto turns around quickly and looks at Isabel who is still in pain inside the ring. He looks at the referee and then is overcome with sympathy and makes the cover on both of them, 1..…2..…3!

Right after the three, the buzzer goes off on the timer and crowd is crazy with energy. Everything happened so fast, but they are loving it! Krypto jumps up and down in pure ecstasy! Krypto’s music blares through the PA system.

Harrys: Ladies and Gentlemen, here is your winner, and holder of a single-round immunity in the Mentor Program, Krypto!

Connor: I can’t believe it! Krypto connected with a beautiful buzz-saw kick to the heads of Arashi and Williams and pinned them both.

Cohen: This has to be against the rules! Only two men in the ring at a time, right?

Copeland: I am not sure that the referee could distinguish who entered the ring first.

The dialogue between the announcers silence as Titus enters the ring in order to help figure out the situation. Krypto has begun to make his way up the entrance ramp as he high-fives several hands of the fans. We go back to Titus and the referee. They exchange pointing fingers between the knocked out Arashi and Williams. Finally they shake hands, as if appearing to agree to let Myles deal with it at a later time. Titus turns around from the referee and is met with a kick to the gut and then a driving force sends his head down on the stiff shoulder of Steamboat Ricky! Blunderbuss! Steamboat Ricky just hit Blunderbuss on his long time friend, Titus!

Copeland: What the hell?!

Ricky is towering over the fallen Titus, who appears to be bleeding at the mouth from the impacting maneuver to his jaw. A large portion of the crowd begins to boo the action of the nautical superstar. Ricky takes a moment to just stare at the broken man and then exits the ring.

Connor: I don’t really know what just happened.

We see Ricky walking up the ramp with an unconcerned look on his face. The boos still drizzle in the arena as we cut to a promotional commerical.

The following match is scheduled for one fall!

Copeland: “Is this Connor Reese’s time?”

Connors:“He’s been tremendous since his non-title win over Ace Stevens.”

Connor Reese gets a great reaction as he emerges, looking like a perfect superstar. With the backing of the crowd who clap along to the music. He poses at the top of the stage before sprinting down to the ring and posing once more at the middle rope.

Cohen:“I don’t see Ace giving his championship up anytime soon!”

Stevens comes out to loud disapproval but he plays up to it tremendously and he smirks as he raises the Mayhem Championship in the air. He walks down to the ring slowly, keeping the belt above his head the whole way. When he finally gets into the ring, Kyle Harrys begins his pre match announcements

This contest is for the WZCW Mayhem Championship and it will be fought under Mayhem Rules!

Introducing first to my left, from the dawn of a new era, weighing 240 lbs, he is the Future of Professional Wrestling, Connor Reese!!

The roar of this amped capacity crowd that greets Reese is matched by the booing that follows as the champion is already hoisting his belt into the air.

And his opponent to my right, from Brooklyn, New York, he weighs 228 lbs, he is the WZCW Mayhem Champion, Ace Stevens!

Cohen:“This is it, Mayhem Championship match is upcoming!”

Ace steadies himself as Connor circles him before the slightly bigger man dives in for a takedown. Ace tries to block it but Connor is still able to grab a waistock. Ace tries and fails to break the hold and tries to reverse the hold but Connor blocks it and moves into a rear chinlock. Connor controls Ace and he struggles aimlessly. Connor ruffles Steven’s hair and this gets a fierce response as Stevens lashes out with a mule kick that catches Connor square in the balls! Connor tries to keep on the hold but Stevens has enough room to turn and unleash a series of punches to the stunned challenger.

Connors:“I can’t help but wonder how Reese will cope with Ace’s smashmouth approach and his vast experience in Mayhem matches.”

Copeland: “Reese got sucker-punched by Ace there. It was an extremely clever move by the champion.”

Stevens whips Connor to the corner and follows up with a huge splash before the former All American can react! Snapmare by Stevens puts Reese in the middle of the ring and Stevens climbs the middle rope, steadies himself, slicks his hair back and drops the elbow! Stevens gets a cover, 1.....2, Reese kicks out with some power. Stevens wrenches the arm and sends Connor to the ropes once more, Reese ducks a clothesline attempt but gets planted on the mat by a snap powerslam! Another cover for Ace Stevens, 1......2......Reese kicks out again after a much longer two count. Reese pulls himself to his feet and is met with a chop but he fires back, much to the crowds delight. Stevens forearms him in the face but Reese replies and gives another three for good measure. Stevens tries to get some momentum back by sending Connor to the ropes but Reese reverses it and hits a running shoulder block as Stevens comes back. The champ is up quickly and Reese hits another shoulder tackle! With Stevens on the back foot, Reese kicks Stevens in the legs, alternating his targets and forcing the champion to back off into the corner. Reese backs off before sprinting at the corner and nailing his signature charging uppercut to the face!

Copeland: “Huge Cataclysm uppercut by Connor Reese!”

Connors:“This is what Connor brings to the table, high speed offence and real strength.”

Stevens is dazed by this bout of high speed offense from the challenger and Connor is easily able to press him above his head but Stevens is aware of the threat of that move and struggles out. He desperately goes straight for The Last Laugh but Reese just about dodges it, slipping behind Stevens and hitting him with a STO! Stevens struggles to his knees and Reese sprints towards him, catching his opponent square in the face with the EXTINCTION EVENT!

Copeland: “That’s almost exactly how Reese won his first match!!”

Cohen:“Come on Ace!!”

Connors:“Do it Connor!!”

Reese senses this may be his chance and hooks the leg, 1.......2.......Ace kicks out!! Reese is gutted as he is unable to believe how Stevens fought back despite that brutal knee to the face. Reese fights to regain his composure and he rolls out of the ring. Ace has done the same on the far side of the ring by the announcers table and Connor slowly walks around towards him as he looks to capitalise on what advantage he has. Ace has grabbed the Mayhem belt and returned to a crouching position as he seems to be holding his face. Connor lifts Ace up with another impressive display of strength but Stevens swings the Mayhem Championship into the top of Connor’s head and the challenger drops him as he recoils from the impact.

Connors: “I think it has just dawned on Connor that this is a Mayhem Rules match.”

Cohen: “And our champion just did what he needed to do to survive.”

Copeland: “Well I hate to say that’s smart by Ace. He survives the same series of events that pinned him before and then he deceives the young man and exposes his lack of experience. This is his first Mayhem match after all.”

Cohen: “Maybe he didn’t expect Ace to pull such a dirty trick but he should have been coached to expect it. Connor places great value in his team and that’s what they are there for.”

Both men are beaten and bruised and their efforts to get to a vertical are doubled by the brutal contest so far. Ace still grasps the Mayhem Championship close to his chest and is crawling away. Reese has barely got to his feet when he follows. Ace goes around the corner and prepares to strike as the young contender follows him; Ace lunges forward and gets a running start before driving the championship into Reese’s face! Reese collapses to the mat, Ace desperately tries to come back as his opponent is knocked down and isn’t moving. Ace drapes an arm across Reese’s chest, 1......2......Reese somehow kicks out!

Connor: “What resilience by the challenger!”

Copeland: “I can’t believe he kicked out of that belt shot to the head!”

Ace would be apoplectic if he wasn’t down on his feet. He drops the Mayhem Championship as the ref tries to explain that it wasn’t a three count. Ace seems to get the message as he crawls under the ring. He eventually pulls out a table and sets it up at ringside before dragging Reese over to the apron! Ace gets a front facelock and goes for a DDT but Reese tries to stop it. Reese tries to overpower Ace and throw him off but Ace begins to elbow him across the neck but Reese holds on. Only when Ace pounds him across the spine but the challenger let go, the attack takes its toll and Ace can drop him through the table with the DDT!!

Cohen: “That is what Ace Stevens; your Mayhem champion is all about right there!”

Connors: “Massive DDT off the ring apron from Ace Stevens and putting Reese through the table was a massive exclamation point!”

Copeland: “Surely Connor can’t come back from that.”

Ace drops to the apron and tries to cover Reese quickly as the punishment is almost too much. He covers Reese, 1....... Ace tries to hook the leg but doesn’t get pull it tight.......2........Reese kicks out forcefully. Ace crawls out of the wreckage of the table first and looks around as he tries to figure out what to do next. He walks around the corner before picking up a nearby chair. Reese now begins to stir but Ace is almost back on top of him, chair in hand. Ace drags him around the corner and sets up the chair before dragging Reese to the steel corner post! But Connor begins to fight back, punch after punch sends Ace reeling back towards the announcers table. Ace tries to sucker punch him but Connor blocks it and sends a knee into Ace’s gut. Connor sets up for a powerbomb and lifts him up but instead of dropping him to the floor or putting him through the announcers table, he turns and slams him into the corner post!!

Connors: “Brilliant by Connor Reese!”

Copeland: “That’s fantastic by Connor, he learnt from Ace’s tactics and thought of a brilliant counter to it!”

Cohen: “Oh no, Ace!! That’s not natural!!”

Ace’s spine bends around the steel and Reese drops him unceremoniously to the floor. Reese pulls him away from the corner before backing away; he then sprints over Ace, acrobatically leaps to the apron then jumps to the middle rope and hitting a rebound splash! Reese crushes Stevens but also takes massive damage to his own mid-section. The impact means that Connor is slow to capitalise on the attack. He holds his ribs with one arm and crawls over with the other, 1......2......Ace kicks out! Reese picks himself up and he leans on the announce table as he tries to gather his breath and Ace is trying to crawl under the ring apron. Reese goes to grab his ankle and pulls Ace out. The champion struggles fiercely and Reese can only drag him out slowly. As soon as Ace’s arms are visible, he lashes out and Reese goes down, clutching his face! Blood streams and soon Connor is wearing a crimson mask and blood seeps through his fingers. Only now does Stevens emerge with a ring of barbed wire in his hands!

Copeland: “That’s awful!”

Cohen: “That’s brilliant! It’s inspired! It’s.....Ace!!”

Connors: “Connor Reese is bleeding like a pig!!”

Ace sees Reese absolutely vulnerable and hits the Last Laugh to the face with the barbed wire sandwiched between his own knee! Reese goes down as if shot, blood flies everywhere as Ace jumps on his opponent like a mad man and hooks the leg! 1.........2..............3!!! Ace Stevens retains the Mayhem Championship!

Connors: “What a hit by Ace Stevens!”

Your winner and still Mayhem Champion, Ace Stevens!

Copeland: “Ace Stevens has retained his Mayhem Championship in a vicious match!”

Cohen: “What a performance! And it surely puts Ace as one of the greatest Mayhem champions of all time!”

Ace is handed the Mayhem belt to his chest and climbs a turnbuckle. Many fans applaud the sheer will that was needed to get through that brutal battle. Connors’ valet, Kara rushes to the ring and helps her man to his feet and offers him a towel which he reluctantly accepts and holds to his blood-soaked forehead. Connor and Kara share words and Connor seems angry despite Kara’s best effort to calm him.

Connors: “We can’t hear what they are saying folks.”

Cohen: “But safe to say, Connor Reese is inconsolable by the loss of this Mayhem Championship match.”

Copeland: “That’s understandable! Connor thought he was destined to be the next Mayhem Champion.”

Connor walks away from Kara but turns around as she talks some more, then Connor kicks her in the gut. The crowd boo massively but the bloody and defeated Connor is unfazed and he quickly lifts her up into a tight powerbomb type clutch position and throws her head first to the mat!

Copeland: “Evolution-plex by Connor to Kara! I thought she was meant to be his girlfriend!”

Cohen: “Someone get this woman some help!”

Connor gets up and looks at the lady who has been wrecked at his hands. He wipes his wounded forehead and spits at the floor beside Kara before walking off with his head down. The crowd and the commentary are near silent as the violent and treacherous actions of Connor Reese begin to sink in.

********************************************************************

We are backstage where Chuck Myles is in his office with a notepad. A knocking can be heard at the door.

Myles: Come in.

Arashi and Scott Williams enter the room with the referee from the Relay Match. Arashi and Williams are both holding their necks in pain as Myles gives a really fake smile.

Myles: Ah, thanks for bringing them here Rob.

The referee nods and then exits the room.

Myles: Just to clarify, both of you entered the match without my permission. I made it very clear that you were both to be dealt with later. Now, you have both foolishly made idiots of yourselves. You are not fit to be on my show or in this company.

Myles gets into the face of Williams.

Myles: Hell, I would rather have Doug Crashin than you!

Myles steps over into Arashi's face.

Myles: And Ashleigh Falkon over you!

Myles step back from the both of them.

Williams: What are you saying?

Myles: In other words: You are both eliminated!

Myles shoots them both a sharp glare.

Myles: And you're fired too. Now get the hell out of my office and don't show your face in this company again.

They both leave quickly and Myles begins to look at his notepad again.

The following match will be held inside of a steel cage and it is scheduled for one fall where the winner can gain the victory by pinfall, submission or by escaping the cage and touching the floor with both feet!

Copeland: “On this night where war after war will take place, this could be as brutal as any of them.”

Connors: “Both of these men claim to Eurasian champ and Black Dragon has never been beaten when his title has been on the line.”

Cohen: “But Rush is riding a wave of momentum unlike which he has not seen through his career. He is the true Eurasian champ!”

The crowd fall into a hushed silence before reacting for the music of the popular Black Dragon.

On his way to the ring, from The Halfway House, he weighs 180lbs, he is the co-Eurasian champion, The Black Dragon!

Connors: “I can’t help but think that Dragon is going to have a lot to say before this is all done.”

The lights dim as the drum beat plays from Soul of the Shadow. A spotlight shines on the stage and the crowd pops loudly as Black Dragon appears with the EurAsian Title. The masked man storms ominously, ignorant to everything including the structure around the ring.

Cohen: “Ironic, given that he says very little to anyone.”

And his opponent, from Montreal, Canada, he weighs 322 lbs, he is the second co-Eurasian champion, this is Rush!!

The formerly popular Rush stands full of pomp and arrogance at the top of the stage. He carries the championship over his shoulder proudly but never takes his eye off the Dragon.

Copeland: “This man hated like few others. He and Sam Smith are creating a dominant alliance.”

Connors: “But this cage is designed to keep enemies locked in together. Sam won’t be a factor here.”

Black Dragon stands ominously in the corner while Rush steps forward and raises his championship in the air. He throws it at the face of the Dragon who charges forward and seeks a quick advantage with strikes to the head of the older champion but Rush’s superior strength soon tells. Rush fights him off with elbows to the head but Dragon refuses to stop fighting. Rush tries to send his smaller opponent to the ropes but as Dragon bounces back; a brutal enziguri puts the giant down!

Copeland: “This is exactly the kind of hard-hitting start we expected to see!”

Connors: “Neither man are willing to concede an inch!”

Dragon goes for a cover but Rush kicks out at one. The veteran immediately tries to shake the cobwebs and Dragon tries to climb the cage. He gets halfway but Rush is aware of this quickly and pulls Dragons’ foot off the ropes, bringing the co-champion to the floor and he is caught up in the ropes. Rush hits a series of forearm strikes to the chest of the masked man. Dragon falls to his knees, only holding the cage to keep himself up.

Cohen: “Rush is too much man for the Dragon. It’s simply a matter of time before he is crowned the true champion!”

Rush pulls Dragon out of the edge of the ring and slams him to the mat. Rush ignores a potential pin attempt and climbs to the middle rope and sits on the turnbuckle before hitting a fist drop. Rush sits besides Dragon as he plans his next move. He grabs the masked man once more and Rush brings him up to a vertical base. He steps away from the cage and brings him into the middle of the ring. Rush steps back further before charging forward and sending Dragon flying face first into the cage wall. Dragons’ head bounces off and he crashes to the mat. Rush is relentless and brings Dragon to his feet and repeats the brutal attack on the other side.

Cohen: “This is brilliant by Rush, he is pounding on Dragon!”

Copeland: “The masked co-champion has no response to this onslaught!”

We see a small hint of blood flow coming from the nose of Dragon as his mask fails to protect him from Rush’s assault. Rush begins to climb the cage but once he reaches the top rope, he stops and jumps down before continuing to pound on Dragon with stomps. Rush picks up Dragon and presses him above his head, Rush is so confident with his actions that he walks around the ring but he strays too close to the cage and Dragon clings onto the cage and tries to climb. Rush manages to cling to Dragon’s foot but the stray kicks out at him. Dragon gets to the top of the cage but Rush is back quickly enough and shakes the cage, Dragon is shaken off balance and Rush can climb to the top rope and uses the advantage to grab Dragon and pull him down. Suddenly Dragon flings himself off the top of the cage and crashes down taking Rush to the floor. Both men land at terrible angles, burning into the canvas.

Connors: “This is typical of the kind of risk with a cage match!”

Copeland: “It’s obvious but if you fall from fifteen feet above the top rope, it’s going to hurt a lot!”

Cohen: “It’s a brave but stupid move by Dragon!”

The crowd gets behind both men, claps can be heard growing and a Let’s go Dragon chant stirs too. When the noise reaches a peak, it suddenly turns to booing as Sam Smith rushes down to the ring with a chair in hand. He shakes at the cage as he urges his ally to get to his feet. He steps back and launches the chair into the ring. He then looks under the ring and pulls out a table that he tries to set up by the edge of the ring. As soon as he is done, the Masked Gentleman sprints down to the ring and tackles Sam to the floor. Soon enough both men are brawling and are throwing a flurry of furious punches. Security rushes out and soon the men are separated and dragged to the back. Amongst the fuss, Rush crawling slowly to the dented chair that was only kept in the ring by the cage.

Copeland: “Sam Smith may have just made a crucial audible in the flow of this match.”

Cohen: “The Masked Gent stuck his oar in but it was too late. A chair is now in the ring and that table is quite ominously set up outside!”

Connors: “Why did security get out here sooner?”

Dragon is up first on wobbly feet and he waits, choosing not to try and escape. Dragon goes for a strike and as he holds the chair, Rush can’t block it. Dragon hits forearm after forearm and then hits the ropes and goes for a lariat but Rush doesn’t go down but is dazed. He instinctively tries to use the chair but that opens a big target for Dragon who ducks under the swing from the big man and hits a sharp roundhouse kick and then a half nelson suplex! Dragon goes for the cover, 1.....2......kicked out by Rush! Dragon goes for the chair and moves it into the middle of the ring and he tries to lift Rush with Darkness Falls but Rush is too big for Dragon to lift. Even before this fiercely close encounter, that may have been too much. Rush shoves him off towards the corner, Dragon comes back and hits a sleeper slam to drop the larger co-champion. He instantly goes for Shades of Grey but Rush kicks him off! Dragon backs off to the ropes and tries to hit a running cross body but Rush catches him and puts him onto his shoulders! Torture Rack by Rush on Black Dragon!

Copeland: “That’s a devastating and effective move to use in this position!”

Cohen: “Rush is a legend for a reason! Dragon is done.”

Rush shakes and contorts the body of the co-champion into sick positions but he doesn’t quit! Rush drops him and he crashes to the canvas. Rush picks up the chair and proceeds to smash it around the prone body of his battered opponent who is slowly beaten into a protective foetal position. Rush throws the dented chair out of the ring and considers his escape but he hesitates. Instead he goes back to Dragon and sets him up for one sick final manoeuvre.

Connors: “This is disgusting by Rush!”

Cohen: “What are you on about? This is superb!”

In an instant Dragon is being lifted above Rush’s head and dropped on the back of his neck with incredible force as Rush slams him down with the Rushing Powerbomb, spine first onto the chair!! The cover is now inevitable! 1........2.......3!!

Your winner and undisputed Eurasian Champion, RUSH!!!

Copeland: “Rush fulfills a sick destiny by becoming the unified Eurasian champion and ending the epic reign of the Black Dragon!”

The veteran clutches his belt to his chest as the confines of the cages around the ring are lifted. Medics arrive to assist Dragon who has barely stirred. Rush looks down at the incapacitated Dragon from his celebratory perch on the turnbuckle but the celebrations are halted when Rush drags Dragon away from the assistance of the medics!

Connors: “What is this psycho doing?”

Copeland: “This is disgusting!”

Cohen: “This is brilliant! Rush has beaten him and is now disposing of him in the trash!”

No-one dares to approach the victorious champion and the medical professionals are helpless to stop Rush as he places two giant hands around the throat of Black Dragon, lift him up and throw him over the ropes and through the table at ringside with a sick two handed chokeslam!! Referees have rushed to ringside to prevent any more attacks but Rush seems satisfied with his efforts and leave ringside with his championship raised.

Copeland: “Was that the plan all along?”

Connors: “There’s no doubt that Smith played a big part by bringing the chair in but the table may have had a bigger part to play overall!”

Moving backstage, we are greeted by the sight of Becky Serra, experienced WZCW journalist and backstage reporter. She holds a microphone in her hand and is outside the doctor’s office inside the arena.

Becky: I’m outside the medical facilities backstage here at Apocalypse, hoping to get an update on John Constantine’s condition. So far no word has come as to the condition of Constantine but I’ll be sure to give everyone an update as a soon as I get one.

Becky is prepared to cut back to our commentating trio when suddenly, a new figure saunters into shot. He is an old nemesis and former ally of Constantine’s; “The Elite”, Steven Holmes. The arena erupts into a tirade of booing.

Holmes: Oh my dear Rebecca, there’s no point in looking for an update on John Constantine. He seems to be quite severely wounded. I doubt we’ll see him in the coming months let alone this evening.

Becky: Does that mean you assaulted him?

Holmes scoffs at such an allegation.

Holmes: Don’t be daft, wench. I merely came by to offer some observation on the situation. John Constantine last month fell at my hands, proving himself to be weak and fallible. I’m sure this assault was made much worse due to the injuries I gave Constantine back at Redemption. And as a matter of fact, I’m sure a similar fate will befall Chris K.O. this evening as I take yet another step towards my throne and towards the ultimate form of immortality as I seek to enshrine myself permanently upon all in WZCW. I am on the cusp of greatness once more and after I have slain the “White Knight” I will take the World Heavyweight...

Holmes’ own statement is cut off as the reigning Heavyweight Champion of the World Drake Callahan enters shot. A resounding reaction of hatred stems from the audience. He is grinning ear to ear as the two loathsome men come face-to-face for the first time. The biggest prize in all of WZCW glistens beautifully on Drake’s shoulder.

Callahan: Oh please, don’t stop on account of me Holmes, what were you saying?

Holmes merely smiles and s******s slightly, his eyes drifting to the championship gold. He turns away from the champion and walks off. The camera zooms into Drake’s face, a satisfied grin enriching his features.

Harrys: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the WZCW Elite X Championship!

Harrys: Introducing first, the challenger, from Sydney, Australia, weighing in at 240 pounds...Justin Cooper!

Cooper makes his way out to the ring with a manic grin on his face as the crowd hurls their distaste at him. He appears impervious, taking a few small bows to the fans on the aisle as he proceeds to the ring. He slides into the ring and mounts the turnbuckle, shouting something unintelligible and receives it back tenfold from the crowd in derision. His grin only widens as he takes one more bow before sitting down and, apparently, examining his fingernails.

Copeland: We welcome you to this contest, ladies and gentlemen, and it's certainly one of the most interesting matches we've had to offer for you in recent times.

Connor: Our challenger, Justin Cooper, has, to put it mildly, shown signs of mental instability in recent times, culminating in an attack on the man he was supposed to mentor, Logan Burnside.

Cohen: Burnside was holding Cooper back from his goals! He distracted him from this contest. It's no surprise that Cooper is in the best positioning of his career at the same time he shed that dead weight.

Harrys: And introducing his opponent, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he is the WZCW Elite X Champion...Mick Overlast!

Mick Overlast slowly makes his way out to the ring, his title belt around his waist. Though the crowd responds almost as negatively to him as they did Cooper, he doesn't respond, looking solemn as he strides to the ring. There's the slightest hint of a limp in his step, but he only has eyes for Justin Cooper, who is barely even looking at his opponent. Overlast takes the steps into the ring and enters, taking his belt off and handing it immediately to the ref before cracking his knuckles, completely ignoring everything but Cooper.

Copeland: Mick Overlast looks as determined as we've ever seen him, ready to defend his championship.

Connor: And his determination has to stem, I think, from Justin Cooper's recent victory over him in a tag team contest, which has certainly proven that Cooper is capable of winning this match.

Cohen: Overlast is one of the best young stars we've got, but let me tell you - sometimes you just have that guy who you can't beat. And Cooper might just be that guy for Mick.

The referee hoists the belt to the crowd and then presents it to each man before handing it off to the side. He separates the men into their corners and checks them both for anything illegal; satisfied that everything is legal, he signals for the bell and we are underway. The two come together almost immediately and Overlast looks fired up, yelling something in Cooper's face. Cooper just smiles back with unhinged grin. Overlast hits him hard in the face and Cooper drops the grin, responding with a headlock. Overlast struggled with it for a while but gets the better of it eventually, reversing it to a headlock of his own. Cooper backs him up to the ropes and shoves him, forcing Overlast to break the hold and rebound off the ropes. Cooper dodges and prepares for the second rebound, but Overlast takes him down with a shoulder block. He hits the ropes and rebounds, but Cooper rolls under him. Overlast hits the ropes again but Cooper dodges again; Cooper stands steady and prepares on the third rebound and meets a dropkick to the face that knocks him to his back. Cooper struggles to his feet and gets into the ropes; Overlast charges and leaps onto his back, looking for a sleeper hold. Cooper shakes him off and then gets behind him, sets up for Your Final Verse! Overlast struggles and breaks out, scrambles away and the two face off.

Copeland: Cooper was looking for a quick finish there, but it'll take more than that to put down a champion like Overlast.

Cohen: But there's nothing wrong with doing something unconventional like that. It'll unsettle your opponent to just try something they weren't expecting.

The two face off for some time and retreat to corners. They slowly make their way toward each other and lock up. Overlast slips behind and takes Cooper down with a waistlock. Cooper struggles with it and after a little while gets to a vertical base. Cooper fights and breaks the waistlock, reverses to a side headlock and takes down Overlast. Overlast gets his legs up and reverses into a headscissors! Cooper tries to fight out of it but Overlast has it in tight; Cooper gets to a kneeling position with his head still caught between Overlast's knees. With a quick jerk and a leap Cooper gets on top of Overlast and turns it into a side headlock once more. Overlast fights it to a vertical base; he turns it into a side slam that has Cooper crashing to the mat! Both men take time to recover and slide to the outside. They stand up there and fight back and forth with both men on either side of the ringpost. The hits are coming fast and furious; both men are throwing closed fists! The ref tries to break them up but they won't have it. Both men are dazed, staggered; they both collapse and fall to the outside! Both are down and look hurt. The ref begins his count! We have 1!....2!...3!...4!...5!...6!...7!...8!...9!....and both men struggle in, still looking dazed, as the ref begins to shout ten!

Connor: A close call there for both men, and for all of us; I don't think anyone wanted to see this end in a double count out.

Cohen: This is an issue that demands to be settled in the ring. A double count out would be a travesty!

The two resume their fist fight on their knees, each of them throwing haymakers back and forth. They fight to a vertical base. Cooper begins to look like he's had enough of the ground war and rolls away, to drag himself up on the ropes. Overlast takes the time to get up as well; but Cooper explodes from the side of the ring with a quick roll up! He gets one, two, but only two! Both men get up and Cooper tries a clothesline; Overlast reverses and goes for a roll up of his own, getting one, two, but only two! Overlast protests the call and it gives Cooper enough time to get up and send Overlast into the mat with a crushing double arm DDT! He goes for a cover and gets one, two, but only two! Cooper looks frustrated and backs up to the ropes. He rebounds and drops an elbow, but Overlast rolls out of the way. Both men scramble up and Cooper charges, but Overlast turns it into a snap suplex! He goes for a cover and gets one, two, but only two! Overlast pulls Cooper to his fight and prepares for a big punch, but Cooper gets a high kick up to Overlast's head! The roundhouse kick has Overlast seemingly knocked out cold and he goes for the cover, getting one, two, and a kickout at two! Cooper is slow to his feet and Overlast struggles to a corner, where Cooper charges and connects with a high knee. He pulls Overlast out of the corner, lifts and elevates for a backbreaker! He goes for a cover and gets one, two, but a kickout at two!

Copeland: It's brutal back and forth between these two hard hitting competitors!

Cohen: Classic wrestling, but it seems to me like Cooper has the upper hand!

Cooper continues the assault, vertically suplexing Overlast. He considers for a moment before heading to the corner and ascending the top rope. He takes his time ascending, however, looking worn down by the match, and Overlast is able to get to his feet and attack him while he's up there. Overlast throws a few hard punches and then grabs hold of Cooper, and hurls him off the top, crashing all the way down to the mat below! Cooper scrambles to stand in the corner and Overlast charges, looking for a corner splash! He leaps wildly and missed, Cooper just getting out the way! Overlast staggers out, Cooper is behind him, setting him up for the YOUR FINAL VERSE! HE HITS IT! HE COVERS FOR ONE, TWO, AND THREE! IT'S ALL OVER!

Harrys: Here is your winner, and the NEW WZCW Elite X Champion, Justin Cooper!

Cooper rolls out of the and grabs his belt immediately, grinning wildly from ear to ear as he celebrates. He makes his way up the ramp as Overlast just begins to stir, looking up at the proverbial lights. He rolls onto his stomach and stares deadly at Cooper, looking maniacal, but standing tall as the new champion.

Connor: A wild contest here folks, and in the end, Justin Cooper did indeed have the better of Mick Overlast, and he has the championship to prove it.

Cohen: The cream rises to the top, Cat! Cooper was the better man tonight, and Overlast is looking at a big mountain to climb if he wants back in.

Cooper stands at the ramp and raises the belt, issuing a howling laugh as we fade to black.

*********************************************************************

Backstage we see Leon Kensworth with a microphone. He is down some hallway and walking towards them is S.H.I.T.

Kensworth: S.H.I.T. would I be able to ask you a few questions before your match tonight?

With that sentence, S.H.I.T. grabs Leon by the collar and pins him to the wall.

S.H.I.T.: Do you know where Barbosa is?

Kensworth: No I don't. I just wanted to ask you some questions.

S.H.I.T. drops Leon to his feet.

S.H.I.T.: Questions are irrelevant at this point. My mission to clear, it is to destroy Barbosa and all who stand in my way. I know that my match is next and it is with Barbosa so I will meet him there. Don't waste my time again human.

S.H.I.T. walks away as Leon fixes his suit. Suddenly the sound of pipes and pails hitting the floor is heard. Leon turns around to see Mister Alhazred who was hiding against the wall.

Alhazred: Oh hey Leon.

Kensworth: Oh hey indeed. Were you just spying on S.H.I.T.?

Alhazred: No of course not man, but tell me, did he say anything about me?

Kensworth: No, just that he is looking for Barbosa.

Alhazred: Man that is all those two have been saying. It's all about Barbosa and S.H.I.T. this and that, nobody is caring that I am in this match.

Kensworth: He all did say 'anyone who got in his way' that could be you.

Alhazred: Yea that's really funny Leon. You know I don't plan on getting in anyone's way. In fact, I plan on winning this damn thing. Tonight, Mister Alhazred is breaking out on his own.

Alhazred walks away and Leon watches him leave. He turns around and is confronted by and masked individual with a glove on his hand. Leon cowers at first, but then sees it's Barbosa.

Kensworth: Oh Barbosa, it's just you. Boy you scared me, hey still doing this whole in your opponents head thing?

Barbosa doesn't move, nor does he respond. Leon taps him and suddenly the body falls over. The real Barbosa stands behind him and this time it really scares Leon. Barbosa walks over and takes the mic from him.

Barbosa: Barbosa can't become them, so Barbosa make someone into them. And then, Barbosa broke him.

Barbosa gives Leon back the mic and he quickly bends over to check on the body Leon dropped.

Copeland: The triple threat match, S.H.I.T. Mister Alhazred, and Barbosa, is coming up next.

Harrys: The following is a triple threat contest scheduled for one fall!

The arena lights turn dark blue and the robotic figure known as S.H.I.T. walks out onto the ramp. He slowly makes his way down to the ring, not taking any notice to the people in attendance.

Harrys: Introducing first, from Mechanical Mecca, weighing 230 lbs, S.H.I.T!

Copeland:
Folks in the past few months S.H.I.T. has been able to put together an impressive string of wins. If he comes out on top again here tonight he could be in line to be the next challenger for the WZCW Title.

The audience's reaction immediately improves as Mister Alhazred takes the stage. He seems taken aback by the response and lets out a loud cheer as he makes his way to the ring.

Harrys: And his opponents, first, from his hidden underground laboratory, weighing in at 178 lbs, Mister Alhazred!

Connor:
Jack I think we could be looking at an upset here tonight instead. Alhazred has been putting on some strong performances of late and appears ready to make it as a singles competitor.

Alhazred slides into the ring. He stares at S.H.I.T. who only takes notice of him until.

The crowd boos and both wrestlers in the ring look up the ramp as the deranged Barbosa walks onto the stage.

Harrys: And from Bedlam, weighing in at 237 lbs, Barbosa!

Cohen: Both of you are wrong. Look, do I think Barbosa is a freak? Yes. Do I think he's deranged? Yes. However, I also think Barbosa is the most destructive man in WZCW and tonight will be his awakening.

Barbosa climbs into the ring and stares at S.H.I.T. The bell rings and they meet in the middle of the ring. Alhazred is by the ropes and is not thrilled that he is being ignored. He runs towards the pair and leaps at them. Barbosa is the only one to react and turns to Alhazred. He grabs him by the chest and throws him down to the mat. He turns back to S.H.I.T. who is about to deliver a punch. Barbosa ducks the punch and is now behind S.H.I.T. Barbosa starts throwing punches at S.H.I.T.’s head, but to little effect. S.H.I.T. raises his mechanical arm and brings down a head chop. Barbosa gets his arms up to block, but the force still brings him to the mat. S.H.I.T. goes to pick up Barbosa, but Alhazred leaps onto his back, applying a sleeperhold. S.H.I.T. tries to remove him from his back, but is unable to reach. Barbosa bounces off the ropes and hits a kitchen sink knee strike on S.H.I.T. The blow bends him over, but doesn’t flip him onto the mat. Barbosa runs and performs the same move. This time S.H.I.T. bends over faster and Alhazred flips onto the mat. Barbosa grabs S.H.I.T. by the head and puts him to the mat with a swinging neckbreaker. S.H.I.T. in on his back in a helpless turtle position. Barbosa grins and turns around when he hears footsteps. Alhazred is on full sprint when Barbosa bends down and lifts him straight up into the air. Alhazred is falling face down onto the mat, but turns his body and ends up landing a fist drop on S.H.I.T. S.H.I.T. rolls over onto his front. Barbosa clubs the back side of Alhazred as he gets to his feet. Barbosa sets up Alhazred for an Atomic Drop. Alhazred flips over Barbosa and lands on his feet. Alhazred grabs his opponents head and lands a bulldog. Alhazred is right up to his feet and ready to attack.

Copeland: Alhazred looks focused so far. He will need to pick and choose his spots to strike if he is going to survive against these two heavyweights.

Cohen: Alhazred is a joke compared to these two. I don’t know how he weaseled his way into this contest.

Connor: Alhazred has proven himself against both men. I think he more than deserves to be in this contest and on Apocalypse.

Barbosa stands up and Alhazred swings with the power glove. Barbosa ducks and Alhazred ends up hitting S.H.I.T. The blow does little except turn S.H.I.T.'s attention to him. S.H.I.T. rears back and delivers a punch of his own, sending Alhazred to the mat. Barbosa is now on S.H.I.T. and boots him in the midsection. Barbosa with an irish whip, S.H.I.T. reverses. Barbosa comes off the ropes and S.H.I.T. with a knee strike sends him to the mat. S.H.I.T. grabs Barbosa by the head and lifts him up to his feet. He take Barbosa off the mat and puts him back there with a scoop slam. S.H.I.T. runs off the ropes and lands a body splash into the first cover in the match. 1... Alhazred breaks up the count. Alhazred repeatedly strikes the face of S.H.I.T. until he gets to his feet. Alhazred then hits a dropkick to the knee which causes S.H.I.T. to fall back down. Alhazred climbs onto the turnbuckle. S.H.I.T. gets to his feet and when he does Alhazred leaps off the top rope. Hurricanrana is blocked and S.H.I.T. now has Alhazred up on his shoulders. Before he can do anything, Barbosa comes in from behind with a chop block. The move causes S.H.I.T. to fall backwards and Alhazred lands on top of him into a pin. 1... Barbosa runs off the ropes and boots Alhazred in the face by the count of 2. Barbosa picks Alhazred up and before he can defend himself hits a hangman’s neckbreaker. Barbosa grabs Alhazred by the mask and drags him towards a corner. Barbosa lifts him onto his shoulders. Alhazred tries to break free, but Barbosa starts running to the opposite corner and powerbombs him right into the turnbuckle. Alhazred falls limp to the mat.

Copeland: What brute strength from Barbosa, he shook the whole ring with that move.

Cohen: I know we can’t see Alhazred's hideous face with that mask on, but I think I was able to see the pain shoot across his it upon hitting that corner.

Barbosa grabs Alhazred and slowly stands him up. He tucks Alhazred’s head under his arm and runs with him away from the corner. Barbosa goes a bulldog, but S.H.I.T. is up to his feet and clotheslines him to the mat. Barbosa and Alhazred both get to their feet and S.H.I.T. knocks them down with a double clothesline. Alhazred rolls to the edge of the apron as Barbosa to up to his feet. S.H.I.T. again comes off the ropes and knocks Barbosa down with a clothesline. The mechanical wrestler grabs Barbosa by the neck and brings him to his feet. S.H.I.T. goes for a sambo suplex. Barbosa elbows him in the head and is able to get out of it. He grabs S.H.I.T.'s head and drops a DDT. Barbosa picks S.H.I.T. back up and hits a second DDT. Duplicity! Before S.H.I.T can get to his feet, Barbosa tires to lock in a locoplata.

Connor: The Bipolar Disorder! If Barbosa can lock it in he may steal a victory here tonight.

Barbosa tries to lock it in, but he can’t seem to get a good grip around S.H.I.T.'s awkwardly shaped head. S.H.I.T. gets his arms free and grabs at the neck of Barbosa. The ref warns S.H.I.T. of the chock hold as S.H.I.T. slowly brings his opponent to his feet and lets go of the hold before the count of 5. S.H.I.T. tucks his head under Barbosa's arm and hits an inverted atomic drop. Barbosa hobbles in a half circle and S.H.I.T. lifts him up and in position for Barbosa’s Doppelgänger finisher. Barbosa kicks his legs and is able to slide down the back. Meanwhile Alhazred has recovered and is standing on the apron. He leaps onto the top rope and flies at his opponents with a clothesline. S.H.I.T. ducks and Alhazred hits Barbosa turning around. Barbosa rolls to the side of the ring as Alhazred stands up and faces his old machine friend. He runs at him with a clothesline, but can’t take S.H.I.T. off his feet. Alhazred again tries a clothesline, but S.H.I.T. gets his arm up and knocks him to the mat. S.H.I.T. waits for Alhazred to stand and goes for his Triforce combo. He hits a body punch and follows with an uppercut. Alhazred spins around and S.H.I.T. goes for a swinging right. Alhazred ducks the punch and rolls away before S.H.I.T. can grab him. Alhazred gets to his feet and S.H.I.T. starts to pick up speed towards him. Alhazred is able to counter to a drop tow hold. S.H.I.T. goes neck first into the second rope. Alhazred leaps over the top rope and lands on the floor. He jumps up and lands a solid right punch on S.H.I.T. The blow knocks S.H.I.T. off the rope and has turned his mask sideways, preventing him from seeing.

Copeland: Alhazred has moved the protective mask of S.H.I.T.

Connor: He can’t see where he is.

Cohen: And I haven’t seen Barbosa either. Could this really be happening?

S.H.I.T. crawls around in the ring as he attempts to repair his damaged state. Alhazred hops onto the apron and shakes the ropes in excitement. S.H.I.T. slowly rises to his feet, his mask now firmly back in place. He turns around and Alhazred goes for another springboard clothesline. S.H.I.T. connects with a swinging right, completing Triforce combo from earlier. S.H.I.T. crawls for the cover. 1... 2... Barbosa is able to break it up in time. Barbosa grabs S.H.I.T. from behind and hits Split Personality. S.H.I.T. rolls over and Barbosa kicks him to the corner. He has S.H.I.T. in a powerbomb position and is able to lift him up onto his shoulders. Barbosa stumbles a lot and then runs towards the corner, or what he thinks is the corner as his vision is abstructed. They flew just to the right of the corner. S.H.I.T. and Barbosa both go over the top rope. Barbosa grabs the rope and hangs on as S.H.I.T. flies over and lands on top of the steel stairs. S.H.I.T. falls to the floor, his limbs shaking wildly as Barbosa stares down at him. 'Holy Shit' chants break out as EMT’s and a refrigerator repair man run out to check on S.H.I.T.

Connor: Barbosa may have broke S.H.I.T. for good.

Cohen: Good thing he’s a robot and not covered under the companies medical costs.

Barbosa climbs into the ring where Alhazred is still down on the mat. He looks back at S.H.I.T. and then sets his sights on Alhazred. The masked wrestler is on his knees and Barbosa knees him in the face. Alhazred drops to the mat and Barbosa grabs him by the face and applies a reverse chinlock. Alhazred reaches out for the ropes, but Barbosa keeps him from being able to move any closer. Barbosa seems hell bent on ripping the head of Alhazred off his neck as he continues to pull back. In desperation, Alhazred reaches for Barbosa’s hands and tries to pull them off his face. He starts to slips his head out of Barbosa’s grip, but the former World Champion releases the hold and strikes him in the back of the head. Barbosa grabs Alhazred by the waist and, in impressive fashion, lifts him off the mat and drives his back into Barbosa’s knee and follows that up by slamming him into the mat. Alhazred holds his back in pain as Barbosa makes a weak pin attempt. 1... 2... Alhazred kicks out. Barbosa stands up and slowly stalks Alhazred, kicking him every so often to keep him down.

Copeland: Barbosa is merely playing with Alhazred right now, instead of going for the victory.

Cohen: It’s because he knows he has this match won. With S.H.I.T. incapacitated, all Barbosa has to do is pin this smaller, weaker, challenger.

Barbosa grabs Alhazred and lifts him up onto his shoulders. He walks over to the corner and places Alhazred on the top rope. Alhazred looks limp high above the ring as Barbosa goes to set him up for the Doppelgänger. Alhazred comes to life just in time and punches the face of Barbosa. Barbosa goes to attack him, but Alhazred gets a leg up and kicks Barbosa in the face. Barbosa stumbles backwards and when he stops to move forward again Alhazred jumps off the ropes and hits a Hurricanrana. Both men lie still in the ring while S.H.I.T. is still being worked on at ringside.

Connor: All three men are still down in this match. It’s anybodies contest right now, who will dig down deep to pick up the victory.

Alhazred and Barbosa both slowly rise to their feet. Barbosa goes to punch Alhazred, who blocks it. Alhazred counters with a low dropkick that brings Barbosa to his knees. Alhazred runs off the ropes and hits a neckbreaker right as Barbosa stands. Barbosa gets back to his knees and Alhazred follows up with a DDT. Alhazred crawls over for the pin. 1... 2.... Barbosa kicks out. Alhazred can’t believe how close that was. He stands up and raises his glove in the air to cheers. He turns around and as Barbosa stands up he goes he goes for the Level 5. The backhand fist misses and Alhazred has his back turned to his opponent now. Barbosa knocks Alhazred to the mat. He beats down on him with kicks and then grabs the glove of Alhazred. After some struggling, he rips the glove off his hand and throws it outside the ring. Alhazred looks down at his bare hand, but has little time to do that as Barbosa grabs him and picks him up to his feet. Barbosa suddenly releases Alhazred as his arms have been grabbed from behind by S.H.I.T. Alhazred turns around on the mat in time to see S.H.I.T. hit Split Personality on Barbosa. The robot is not done and picks Barbosa off the mat. S.H.I.T. drops Barbosa with a DDT, which was soon followed by another, then another, as Alhazred looks on terrified.

Connor: S.H.I.T. has come alive with vengeance, if robots are able to feel that, and has gone on total destruct sequence with Barbosa.

Copeland: S.H.I.T. has hit Multiplicity on Barbosa and there appears to be no sign of it stopping anytime soon.

S.H.I.T. again lifts Barbosa up to his feet. Perhaps malfunctioning from the crash he suffered earlier, he again is going to try and hit another DDT on Barbosa’s almost limp body. Just as he was about to Alhazred low blow kicks him, causing him to drop Barbosa.

Cohen: A low blow kick? Would that even do anything to him?

Copeland: Alhazred is about to find out.

After a few moments of standing, S.H.I.T. slowly turns around to face Alhazred. Without his power glove Alhazred knows there is little he can do, especially once S.H.I.T. reaches out and grabs him by the neck. He pushes Alhazred into the ropes and tries to throw him out. Alhazred tries to squirm free and is only able to once he low blow kicks S.H.I.T. again. S.H.I.T. lets go of his grip and is slumped over the top rope. Alhazred reaches down and with all his strength is able to lift S.H.I.T. off the mat and dump him onto the outside. S.H.I.T. hits the floor and Alhazred backs up, clearly exhausted from the whole contest. He stares down at S.H.I.T. on the floor for so long that he has forgotten the other opponent in this match. Barbosa is back onto his feet and grabs Alhazred from behind. Doppelgänger! Barbosa crawls over him for the cover 1... 2... 3.

Harrys: Here is your winner, Barbosa!

Barbosa stands up after securing the pin. The ref raises his hand, but he immediately pulls in away, seemingly unpleased. He walks over to the ring ropes and peers over towards S.H.I.T. The masked robot is standing and appears heavily damaged. S.H.I.T. looks like he wants to enter the ring, but instead backs up as WZCW security and refs quickly run down the ramp and get between the two to prevent a brawl from happening at all.

Copeland: A physical battle between these three wrestlers and Barbosa is able to pick up the victory in dominant fashion.

Cohen: Escape is more like it. Barbosa thought he had finished S.H.I.T. once and for all, but like Terminator, S.H.I.T. came back and nearly broke Barbosa in half. This battle is far from over.

Connor: A strong effort from Alhazred and a strange showing of good will, he practically saved Barbosa by stopping S.H.I.T. from destroying him.

We Chuck Myles storm into the GM's office where Big Dave currently resides, sitting behind a desk. Dave is talking with a medical personnel but Dave waves him off and gets up as Myles looks very angry.

Myles: It'd be nice if I had some help. I've been running around trying to keep this show running smoothly and...

Dave interrupts him.

Dave: I haven't been slacking off Myles. I'm trying to keep up to date with all the injuries and ambushes that are happening. We clearly didn't hire enough staff to keep the backstage area free from brawls.

Myles: That wasn't on my list of duties assigned to me tonight.

Dave: And neither was taking care of all this. The safety issues were supposed to be Vance's responsibility. Speaking of which, have you seen him?

Both men stop and realise that Bateman has yet to make an appearance at all. Myles doesn't look too pleased with this revelation.

Dave: I'll try and go find him myself then. In the meantime, good luck.

Dave exits the room, leaving Myles with a shaking head.

Harrys: This match is scheduled for one fall!

Chris K.O. walks out from the back in a white knight helmet and stops at the top of the ramp. He looks around at the crowd and then his opponent in the ring, if they are there. The crowd pops him as he slowly takes off his helmet and hands it off to a trusted official. He then proceeds to run down the ramp and connects hands with fans who reach out for high fives. Chris slides into the ring and pumps himself up for the match.

Harrys: Introducing first from Hell, Michigan weighing 212 pounds, WZCW’s “White Knight” Chris KO!

As the music starts, Steven Holmes slowly walks out onto the top of the stage, slowly he walks to the ring, ignoring the fan reaction, he walks up the ring steps and enters the ring. He stands still in the centre, his head held high and slowly raises his left arm with his hand making a pointing motion to the ceiling.

Harrys: And his opponent from Buckingham, England weighing 235 pounds, the “Elite” Steven Holmes!

Copeland: This is going to be one hell of a match! So much bad blood between these two going into Apocalypse; Holmes believes that KO abused his powers when he was still GM of Meltdown, and now he is out to prove himself that he is more worthy of being the next contender for the WZCW championship.

Cohen: Chris KO isn’t going down without a fight; this match is going to be a battle of wills. Whoever breaks down first is going to lose.

The two men engage in a stare down as Holmes gets in Chris’s face. The two seem to be arguing whether or not Chris abused his power as Meltdown GM or not. Holmes screams “You abused your power,” as he shoves Chris back. He responds with a flurry of punches as the bell rings. He backs Holmes against the ropes, but the referee calls for a break and starts counting to 5. With the referee’s back turned Holmes rakes KO in the face and starts to pound away with punches of his own. He whips Chris into the ropes as hits a running high knee. Holmes immediately locks in a chin lock as he shouts his opponent.

Chris fights Holmes off and whips him into the turnbuckle, following up with a flying lariat. He begins to hammer away on Holmes, dropping the Englishman to his knees. He hits a scoop slam and follows with a quick elbow drop. He locks in an arm bar, but Holmes counters and frees himself. The two men begin to grapple back and forth, each trying to show their superiority as the better technician. Holmes gets the upper hand and locks in an arm bar of his own, but Chris gets to his feet and backs him against the ropes. He sends Holmes across the ring and hits a shoulder block. Holmes stands but quickly gets knocks down again.

He bounces off the ropes and charges forward with a knee strike. Holmes is reeling and rolls out of the ring as the White Knight plays to the audience. He climbs to the top rope and dives off, taking Holmes down on the outside. The crowd roars as Chris gets to his feet. He whips Holmes into the ring post, but the Elite counters and sends KO into the steel instead. Holmes looks pissed as he begins his assault. He slams Chris’s headfirst into the steel ring steps before slamming him against the ring apron. He rolls back into the ring to break the count before hitting a vertical suplex on the outside. He begins to shout more obscenities before rolling Chris back into the ring.

Copeland: This fight as spilled to the outside! These two men are brawling right in front of us!

Connor: If KO wants to take the fight to Holmes I’ll guarantee you that he’ll fight right back.

He continues to assault KO and ties him up in the ropes. He gloats as the crowd showers him with boo’s as he taunts Chris by slapping him across the face. He hits a running high knee of his own as Chris crumbles to the mat. He picks him up and delivers a Northern Lights Suplex. He goes for the cover…

But Chris gets the shoulder up. Holmes locks in a headlock in an attempt to wear him down even further, but Chris begins to build some momentum with some elbows strikes. He fights his way out and gets behind Holmes and sends him flying with a German suplex. He leaves his hands locked and hits a second with a bridge. The referee counts…

But Holmes kicks out quickly. Chris hits a European uppercut which sends Holmes staggering, and whips him into the ropes. Holmes ducks and locks in a sleeper hold. KO tries to get to the ropes, but Holmes drags him to the center of the ring. Chris begins to fade after the referee drops his arm the first time, but begins to show signs of life after the arm falls a second time. He backs Holmes against the ropes and he throws him forward across the ring; Holmes tries to knock him down but Chris ducks and hits a spinning wheel kick. He grabs Holmes and tries to scoop slam him, but the larger man rolls off his shoulder and hits a chop block. He hits another high knee and follows up with a knee drop. He goes for the cover…

But KO gets the shoulder up. Holmes frowns, grabs Chris, and folds him up with a German suplex of his own. He drags him over to the ropes and begins to choke him against the bottom rope. The referee intervenes and forces Holmes back. Holmes jumps and drives his knee into Chris’s back. He grabs him and hits a backbreaker before locking in an abdominal stretch. KO writhes in pain, as Holmes decides to add insult to injury by striking him repeatedly in the gut. He picks him up in a front powerslam position, but Chris floats over and uses his momentum to push Holmes out of the ring.

Chris stands and tries to go out after him, but Holmes grabs him and hot shots his upper torso off the top rope. Chris flies backwards and Holmes gets back into the ring. He hits a full nelson suplex flipping Chris like an omelet. He locks in a full nelson as KO struggles to free himself. He swivels his leg towards the bottom rope, but Holmes lifts him to his feet and hits a knee strike. Chris is dazed as Holmes continues to gloat. He kicks him in the ribs as KO crawls over to the turnbuckle. Holmes measures him and charges forward, but Chris moves out of the way as Holmes eats the turnbuckle pad. Chris rolls him up, as the referee counts…

But Holmes gets the shoulder up! Chris shakes his head and hits a European uppercut, which dazes Holmes. He responds by hitting a European uppercut of his own. The two superstars begins to pummel each other with European uppercuts as the crowd starts a dueling “yay-boo” chant. The strikes start off slow but continue to build in ferocity as Chris slowly gains the upper hand. He blasts Holmes in the jaw as the Englishman staggers back towards the ropes in bewilderment. Chris springs forwards and hits a dropkick, ricocheting Holmes off the ropes backwards. KO measures him and hits a running DDT. He goes for the pin…

1…

2…

But Holmes kicks out again. The White Knight looks on in aggravation as he strikes Holmes with a couple of straight punches and whips him into the turnbuckle. He measures him and tries to follow up with a lariat, but Holmes cuts him off with an elbow to the face. He throws Chris against the turnbuckle and hits a few punches of his own. He follows up with a belly to belly suplex, and then with another Northern Lights suplex. Holmes shouts at him, and kicks him in the ribs. He exits the ring and climbs to the top rope, but a determined Chris meets him at the top. Holmes looks shocked by the look of determination on the smaller man’s face as Chris tries to attempt a superplex. The two men begin to fight for position as Chris clubs Holmes in the back, but the Elite looks unfazed. He head butts Chris and punches him off the top as KO crashes to the mat. Holmes stands and jumps off the top, driving his knee into Chris’s chest. Holmes measures him and locks in the Aristocracy Reigns. Chris struggles and tries to free himself, but Holmes as the move locked in tight. Chris tries to stand and manages to get to one knee. Holmes continues to wrench away but despite all the punishment Chris starts to get to his feet. Enraged Holmes clubs him in the back and tries for belly to back suplex, but KO counters and hits an armdrag. Holmes stumbles forward right to the Burning Crusade! Holmes looks enraged and horrified as he struggles to break the hold. Chris holds on like his life depended on it, but Holmes continues to crawl towards the ropes. Despite a valiant effort from the White Knight, Holmes manages to get his foot under the bottom rope forcing the referee to break the hold.

Copeland: Holmes survived the Burning Crusade! What does Chris have to do to win here?

Cohen: He has to put everything on the line; go for it kid! It’s either guts and glory or nothing!

Chris lifts Holmes to his feet and tries to whip him into the ropes, but he counters, grabs him, and hits another belly to belly suplex. KO looks dazed as Holmes smiles from ear to ear like a maniac. He signals for the Imperial Impaler and places Chris in the powerbomb position. He tries to lift him up, but with one last burst of adrenaline Chris sends him flying with a back body drop. He yells at Holmes to get to his feet, and hits the Butterfly Effect in the middle of the ring. He goes for the cover as the audience counts along with him…

1…

2…

But somehow Holmes still manages to get the shoulder up right as the referees hands were coming down. Chris looks downtrodden as Holmes gets to his feet. With a burst of adrenaline of his own, Holmes kicks Chris in the gut and hits a neckbreaker. He signals for the end and locks in the Aristocracy Reigns a second time. Overcome by pain and fatigue Chris KO has no choice but to tap out.

Harrys: Here is your winner, Steven Holmes!

Holmes looks down at the beaten KO, and with a sick smile he kicks him in the ribs one last time. He gloats to the crowd before gesturing for the WZCW title.

Copeland: Chris put forth an amazing effort, but he wasn’t able to beat Holmes here tonight!

Connor: These two men gave it everything that they had, but in the end Holmes managed to prevail.

************************************************** ********************

Cutting away to the backstage, we see the former World Tag Team Champions, Mikey Stormrage and James Howard; Strikeforce. They are walking towards the arena, set for their match:

Copeland: Well ladies and gentlemen; coming up next is a tag team turmoil match for the World Tag Team Championships. Earlier on tonight we saw Matt Tastic’s partner in the match John Constantine injured mysteriously. Last we heard things looked doubtful for his participation in this match, and that can’t bode well for--

Sebastian Copeland is cut off by a sudden corruption in the picture and the dominant noise of static. The static remains for a good few seconds before it dies totally, presenting us with a black screen.

Connor: Uh, we apologise ladies and gentlemen, we’re trying to get a camera backstage to get back to Strikeforce as they make their way towards the arena here and...

Stopping dead in her tracks, Cat Connor and everyone else observing is caught off guard by the return of the picture. What greets us is no longer a Strikeforce standing tall, but the disturbing sight of Mikey Stormrage collapsed on the floor. He is face down and clearly unconscious. The camera has been knocked to the floor and is at an awkward angle. James Howard, Stormrage’s partner is nowhere to be seen until a few seconds later when he crawls into shot, some blood dripping from a cut on his nose. Howard crawls towards his partner, holding his ribs with one arm. He leans over his partner:

Howard: Mikey? MIKEY?!? SOMEONE, HELP!

As Howard demands help, the camera cuts to static once more.

A camera is sprinting its way backstage to get to the scene of the carnage we have just seen. Travelling through the corridors of the backstage area, the camera is finding it difficult to find the location, but after a few extra seconds of searching it reaches its destination. Since we cut to static once more, James Howard has managed to get to a crouching position, blood still dripping from the wound on his nose. He continues to hold his ribs in pain. Mikey Stormrage though is still in the same position as before, only this time a Doctor, the same one that worked on Constantine, is in position to check on Mikey. Howard is understandably concerned when a voice distracts him suddenly.

???: What happened to this poor sucka’?

The camera pans to see two men stood there; Action Saxton and Saboteur. The World Tag Team Champions look somewhat concerned as Saxton takes a step forward to prepare to check on Mikey, but Howard steps in front of him, blocking Saxton’s path. He has an intense look, almost as if something is boiling over inside him. Saboteur puts a hand on Howard’s shoulder.

Saboteur: You look like you’ll be emitting some steam shortly Howard.

The comment sends Howard over the edge. He feels he knows who took out his partner and buddy and the serious side of Strikeforce uses his free arm to smack Saboteur square in the jaw. The shot staggers the champion back a few steps before Saxton steps forward to bumps Howard’s chest and question the move.

Saxton: What you think you playin’ at, huh? Saboteur was only tryin’ to--

Before Saxton can complete his statement, Saboteur has lunged forwards, bypassing Saxton and attacked Howard. The two men engage in a frenzied brawl, rolling around on the floor as the Doctor continues to try and work on Mikey Stormrage. A few people surround the scene.

Howard: You...took...out...my...FRIEND!

Howard lays some stiff elbows into Saboteur. More people surround the scene and additional medical personnel arrive to assist the Doctor. Saxton tries to catch up to the crazed fight, but can’t quite as it spirals out of control on the floor.

Saboteur: Excusez-Moi?!?

Saboteur lays some body shots into Howard on the floor, targeting the weakened ribs. Saxton finally catches up to the melee and tries to forcibly separate the pair. Even more people have arrived to surround the fight. Then, a booming voice is heard in the background:

???: STOP THIS!

Everyone stops what they are doing (besides the medical team) and they look out for the voice. The crowd even parts for the owner of said voice to enter the scene. The voice belongs to Big Dave, General Manager of Meltdown.

Dave: What do you think you’re doing, huh?

Saxton goes to explain the situation, but Dave cuts him off quickly.

Dave: Whatever it is, it will end, now. I will not have my first Pay-Per-View as GM of Meltdown descend into anarchy. It’s obvious that Mikey Stormrage won’t be making it to this match so I suggest James Howard makes a decision regarding his participation in the match. As for you Saboteur, Saxton you’ll be kicking off the Tag Turmoil...NEXT!

Saxton grabs Saboteur by his body suit and hoists him out of there, determined to get to the arena. Howard is one his knees, watching as Mikey is being lifted onto a stretcher. Dave gives a look to the rest of the crowd that has gathered, and they know it’s time to disperse. We see in the corner though, lurking are two men with a vested interest in this situation; The New Church. They smirk, satisfied with the ongoing madness around them.

We cut to the arena where the tag champions theme hits:

Entering the arena, Saxton still has Saboteur in the awkward carrying position. They are arguing as Saxton carries his partner down the ramp. Half way down, the big man puts Saboteur on his feet. They continue to argue.

Copeland: Well it would seem that despite the severe injury sustained to Mikey Stormrage, along with the apparent injury to John Constantine earlier, this Tag Team Turmoil match will go ahead as planned.

Cohen: That’s not the story here though Seabass. The real meat on this thing is who did the deed? Could it have been those two clowns entering at the moment?

Connor: You must be mad Jack; did you not see New Church? They were smiling like jackals.

Cohen: Yes, but so would you if your odds of claiming championship gold had increased due to injuries.

As our commentators argue, Saxton and Saboteur enter the ring, still arguing amongst themselves. They continue to argue, even as their music dies down and they look towards the tron, awaiting their opening opponents for this match.

Harrys: Ladies and Gentlemen, this contest is Tag Team Turmoil for the World Tag Team Championship’s! In the ring already, they are the WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS; ACTION SAXTON & SABOTEUR!

As Harrys announces them, Sabs and Saxton break their fighting to briefly pose, almost too immediately return to the argument at hand. Then they stop as their first rivals music hits:

Harrys: And their opponents, first, weighing 225 pounds; MATT TASTIC!

Tastic emerges from behind the curtain and is more restrained in his entrance than usual, knowing his partner’s condition. He makes his way down the ramp, stopping roughly halfway.

Connor: So is Constantine going to compete tonight?

Cohen: Pffffft, don’t be ridiculous.

The crowd pops with surprise as Linkin Park smashes the crowd. There is still a moments hesitance from the audience though as Constantine doesn’t make his way out immediately. Then he does, and then the crowd totally loses its inhibitions. The pop like mad as the King for a Day limps out to meet his partner halfway down the ramp. Saxton and Saboteur look somewhat surprised, but are not overly shocked by this show of bravery.

Harrys: And his partner; from Washington D.C., weighing 265 pounds, he is the KING FOR A DAY; CONSTANTINE!

Both Tastic and Constantine slide into the ring, ready to meet the reigning champions. They share a few words of dialogue, perhaps with Constantine enquiring, or even accusing Saxton and Saboteur of attacking him. The argument begins to get heated as the match referee steps in and defuses the situation for the time being. Saboteur and Saxton are the first to back off with Saxton particularly trying to calm the irate Saboteur. In order to complete this calmness, Saxton decides that he’ll step into the ring first for his team. Tastic will be in first for the initial challengers. The referee calls for the bell to begin the contest.

Copeland: Alright, so this is tag team turmoil ladies and gentlemen. The rules are a little different to your standard tag team affair. First off, while there are four teams involved, only two start. After one team has been defeated via pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification, a new team must take their place. The last team standing after all teams have entered are the Tag Team Champions of the World.

As Copeland explains the rules of this contest, Tastic and Saxton have met in the middle of the ring. They trash talk a little in the centre before Tastic breaks the argument off with a straight right hand to the massive Saxton. The big man doesn’t like that though and he retorts with a backhand right to the face. Tastic takes a step backwards due to the force and checks his cheek. He flicks his hair back and a look of rage fills his face. He sprints right at Saxton, taking him down. They end up right into the corner of the ring and Tastic unleashes a swift array of kicks to wind the champion. Saxton tries to come out of the corner on the offense, but walks right into an easy snap powerslam. Tastic is quick to cover: 1...KICK-OUT! Saxton forces his way out almost immediately. Ever the veteran though, Tastic is swiftly behind Saxton and applies a choke of sorts. The referee deems it legal though, much to the chagrin of Saboteur who is rabid in his respective corner. Tastic lifts Saxton to his feet with the choke still in place before executing a Russian legsweep. He goes for yet another cover. 1...2...KICK-OUT! Again, Saxton powers out. Clambering to his feet, Saxton is staggered and it doesn’t help as Tastic hits a spinning backfist. This sends Saxton into yet another corner; Tastic and Constantine’s corner. As the former Mayhem Champion goes towards the corner, the crowd gets very excited at the idea of Constantine entering the match. Recognising the crowd’s will, Tastic points at the King for a Day and nods, tagging him in to a tremendous pop.

Connor: Listen to the crowd come alive for John Constantine!

Sure enough, Constantine steps through the ropes. Immediately he stomps away at an in-trouble Saxton. The crowd sounds off, pleased, but the referee is less so, counting up. 1...2...3...4...HE STOPS! Feeling a rush of adrenaline, Constantine pulls out of the corner and screams. He runs (as best he can) towards the corner with Saxton and goes to put his knee across the big man’s face. However, Saxton is in part playing a little bit of possum, and at the last second, dives out of the way, forcing Constantine’s already banged up knee to crack off of the turnbuckle. Suddenly, Constantine’s adrenaline comes to a crashing halt. He bounces out, clutching his leg in pain. Saxton sees an opening and leaps to his corner to tag in the ready Saboteur. Constantine has dropped to one knee and sure enough is in position for the Death Blow! Connecting with thunderous impact, Constantine collapses. Before Tastic can get involved, Saboteur, filled with pent up energy is to that corner to kick him straight in the face. Saboteur follows this up with a quick pin attempt on Constantine: 1...2...3! The audience is astonished and silence follows surprise.

Cohen: And so much for the bravado and so called bravery.

Copeland: Well that was...sudden.

Sure enough Constantine and Matt Tastic are the first men eliminated. The crowd isn’t sure how to react after the initial shock wears off. Saxton, now to his feet on the apron, and Saboteur high five in delight. They are ecstatic. Constantine rolls to the apron, clutching his leg in severe, agonising pain. Tastic is still down. Saboteur is back to the centre of the ring and indicates for the next team to come out. Then, the lights go out.

Connor: This can only mean one thing!

And sure enough New Church has arrived. However, they are not accompanied by Heavy Soul, their theme music. Nope, for when the lights come back on, Westhoff & Jacobs are already in the ring. Saxton yells at his buddy to alert him, but Jacobs leaps at the 270 pounder and knocks him from the apron. Meanwhile, Saboteur turns around and takes a violent lariat for his troubles. The sinister Westhoff smirks as he sees he and his partner are in an ample position.

Copeland: What a sinister attack by the New Church!

Cohen: Why is everything intelligent associated with something bad Seabass. Why can’t you just say it was a brilliant move on New Church’s part?

Then, abruptly, things change. As the match looks to be hitting its stride, the audience’s attention is diverted elsewhere as they all stare up the entrance ramp as a figure makes his way out onto the entrance ramp; James Howard! He is accompanied, not by his injured partner Mikey Stormrage, but by a trusty steel chair. His face is red with fury and raw with passion. He takes a few steps towards the bottom of the ramp before Westhoff orders Jacobs to deal with the intruder. Jacobs meets Howard half way up the ramp and orders him to move away, but he is in no mood for such orders. Howard swings first and asks questions later, cracking his chair off the enormous side of Jacobs. The weapon merely stings Jacobs, but before the behemoth can fight back, he’s dealing with yet another chair shot, this one bouncing off his spine. Clutching his back in pain, Jacobs turns around to retreat, but Howard thunders another shot off of the big man’s spine, and down he goes. A look of fear comes across Westhoff’s face as Howard stares hard at the ring. He moves downwards, continuing his assault on the ring.

Connor: James Howard isn’t in the mood for talking.

Cohen: Wait...surely that’s a disqualification win for New Church?

As Cohen questions the referee’s judgment, the official exits the ring to try and reason with Howard, but his pushed aside. Saboteur and Saxton are both stood in their corner now, observing the situation. Westhoff is attempting to flee when Howard enters. The chair wielding member of Strikeforce points at Saxton and Saboteur and makes a cut-throat gesture, but returns to business with the other member of the New Church when he runs at Westhoff with the chair. He cannons the chair right off Westhoff’s skull, sending him faltering backwards and through the ropes. Saxton and Saboteur are Howard’s next targets, but they’ve prepared. So much so that Saxton has just launched his partner at Howard with a Fastball Special! But it doesn’t quite pay off as Howard senses it approaching and smashes the chair off of Saboteur’s side, sending the tag champion flying in the other direction!

Cohen: And he’s outta’ here!

At this point the referee calls for the bell, signalling a no contest. The crowd thunderously boos. Action Saxton goes to square up to Howard, ever the man’s man, but before any violence can take place, security and more WZCW officials sprint to the ring and take down Howard, trying to restrain him before anymore violence can go down.

Copeland: WZCW officials, security guards and referees are trying to restrain James Howard and likely escort him out of the arena.

Connor: And it’s a good thing too, Howard’s actions have brought this one to an abrupt end.

Cohen: Damn and I was looking forward to the two powerhouses squaring up to one another.

Howard tries with all his might to break free, but with six or seven men on him it’s not going to happen. He drops the chair before having his arms forced behind his back, where they are cuffed by the security officers. Actions Saxton goes to check on his partner, never taking his eyes off of Howard though. They match eyes and Howard is enraged further, still fighting to get at Saxton. At this point, a stretcher has arrived to carry Constantine, still injured on the floor outside the ring, out of the arena. Howard is finally ejected from the ring and he turns around, his eyes still locked on Saxton, almost a look of betrayal on Howard’s face, believing that perhaps it was Action Saxton that did the most foul of deeds.

Connor: What a mess this has turned into.

Cohen: James Howard is psychotic! He deserves to be fired for this. Him and his fat lump of a friend should be on the unemployment line!

Copeland: Saxton and Saboteur have no clue what gone on here! They are fighting champions and this chance to fight has been taken away from them. They have every right not to be impressed.

"Showtime" Cougar is standing backstage in the interviewing area alongside Becky Serra. Cougar is practically ready for his match in terms of ring attire but his face tells another expression; one of uncertainty, one of confronting the fact that this could be his last match.

Becky: David, this could potentially be the final time that we see you here in WZCW forever should you lose tonight's World title match. What is going through your mind right now with the match being only moments away and the whole world tuning in?

Show gives a bit of a sigh but follows up with his usual heart-warming smile.

Showtime: I can't lie, Becky: I've been thinking about what my life could be like should I be forced to leave the company for most of the day. However, for a match as big as this, it's natural to be thinking and feeling the same way I am. It hasn't changed my attitude though and I'm going out there with the intentions of bringing the best game I've ever brought to the table. I want Callahan to know that if I'm going down by his hands, he's going to have to work harder than he ever has in his life to do so and at the end of it all, my performance will be the thing that everyone remembers most about tonight and not the fact that Callahan retired me.

Becky: Thank you Show and good luck.

**********************************************************************

Drake Callahan is in his locker room and has laced up his final boot. He is ready to go but before he leaves, Max Powers comes over and puts the World title on the shoulder of Callahan. The two men look at each other and without saying a word, both men nod and exit the locker room together; Callahan having a huge smirk on his face.

The arena is buzzing, awaiting for the upcoming match to start. The ringside area has been cleared of all the mess and shenanigans it has held for the entirety of the night. The assigned official for the match is in the ring alongside ring announcer, Truman Harrys: both men standing there exchanging idle chit-chat.

Copeland: Here we are ladies and gentleman: the final match of the evening where the most prestigious championship will be on the line, as well as the career of an individual.

Cohen: I love seeing Wager matches, Seabass. The fact that both men have to put something onto the table just gives that extra push to the competitors to do their best, ultimately leading to a better match.

Connor: I wouldn't consider putting up the title to be much of a wager considering the other wager is an entire career.

Cohen: It still satisfies the definition, CC. However, we're about to get started. I can't wait!

The crowd roars in displeasure and near-hate as the current World Heavyweight Champion's music plays throughout the arena. Max Powers walks out first with a smile on his face and claps for his client, Drake Callahan who slowly walks out holding the World title in both hands, high in the air. He stands on the top of the ramp showcasing the fact that he is the best wrestler right now, with a shower of golden sparks falling from the ceiling behind him. He continues down the ramp with the championship high in the air the entire time and a smirk on his face. Powers follows, still clapping and tell the crowd why he is that good.

Cohen: What a proud champion we have.

Copeland: If he were such a proud champion, he would have accepted Showtime's rematch without forcing Cougar to play the career card.

Cohen: You're talking about one of the biggest rivalries in this business: how could Callahan not want to put one of his enemies out of commission for good?

Callahan has entered the ring whilst Max Powers is on the outside, acting as his manager for the night. Drake shows the World title once more to the audience before staring directly at the entrance ramp with the crowd still heavily booing. His music dies down and Callahan waits patiently for his opponent.

The crowd is on their feet and explodes with cheers as we see "Showtime" Cougar walk out onto the stage with a huge explosion of pyro going off, taken aback by the huge amount of support towards him. Cougar looks out into the audience with a huge smile and turns to the camera, saying that this reaction is amazing. He walks down the ramp with the spotlight on him, turning around in a 360 degree motion to view everyone in the arena. He cannot believe what he is seeing as he climbs up to the turnbuckles from the apron and does his signature pose.

Connor: This crowd is really behind Showtime tonight. I don't blame them after all the things that Callahan has done.

Copeland: I'm getting chills just sitting here. I wonder how Showtime must be feeling right now with all the adulation.

Cohen: It is definitely an amazing feeling to have every eye on you. The very few times I've been cheered, it felt good.

Showtime drops down into the ring and stands only a couple of steps away from Callahan, who has intently watched Cougar make his way down the ramp. He smirks as he puts forth his title with one hand, showing that he is the champion. Show looks at the belt before looking back to Drake. The music dies down and Truman Harrys begins the introductions.

Harrys: The following contest is your main event for this evening and it is for the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship, scheduled for one fall...

???: ... where disqualifications do not apply.

Everyone stops as they hear a very familiar voice coming from somewhere. A few seconds later, Vance Bateman walks out onto the stage and the crowd boos at the arrival of the Ascension General Manager who has been absent from tonight's proceedings... until now.

Copeland: What's he doing out here?

Cohen: Our GM has a vested interest in the World title encounter, it seems.

Bateman: Therefore, this match is now a No Disqualifications match.

Bateman continues to walk down the ramp as the crowd is confused and talks about this new change to the match. Vance signals for Harrys to continue as Bateman walks to ringside and sits down on a chair, already set-up for him but staff.

Connor: What's with the change last minute? Can he do that considering there are two other GM's?

Copeland: The contract was signed on Ascension and overseen by Bateman so I guess he can do whatever he wants. I just hope he is here to remain neutral and not cause trouble.

Harrys: Introducing first, the challenger, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, weighing in at 219 pounds; "SHOWTIME" DAVID COUGAR!

Show raises his hands as the crowds cheer for him. Callahan looks unimpressed as does Max. Bateman has a blank look on his face.

Harrys: And his opponent, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 215 pounds; he is the WZCW World Heavyweight Champion; DRAKE CALLAHAN!

Drake smirks and shows his belt to everyone as the crowd boos relentlessly. As the introductions finish, Truman exits the ring and Callahan hands the belt slowly over to the referee who shows it once more before giving to a staff member on the outside. As the member goes to put it near the timekeeper, Bateman requests that he hang on to the title. The staff obliges and Vance puts the title on his lap, nodding to Callahan. The ref asks Show and Callahan if they are ready and they both agree, signalling the bell to start the match.

Both men continue to stare at each other as they slowly, slowly move around the ring in a circular motion, staying opposite of each other. The crowd livens up once more, strongly supporting Showtime in this match. Max is on the outside and tells the audience to can their cheers, reminding them of Callahan's potential. The two men stop their circling when they reach their original starting positions and go to lock-up, centre of the ring. A struggle occurs between the two until Callahan gets the upper hand, pushing Showtime into the corner. He breaks the lock-up on the count of four, following it up by slapping Show right across his face with a smirk. The crowd boos at this cheap tactic as Show wipes his face but he ignores the hit and goes back towards Callahan with another lock-up. Show looks to be getting the better of the encounter but at the last second, Callahan switches and pushes Show into a different corner. He is quick to break up the hold and goes to slap Show who evades the attack but it seems Callahan did it to toy with Show, not wanting the slap to connect in the first place. Callahan gets a bit cocky and begs for Show to come to him. The Cougar pounces out of the corner, catching an off-guard Callahan to push both men into the corner, Showtime winning that exchange. Show immediately whips Callahan into the opposite corner, charging behind him to hit a dropkick. Callahan drops to the ground in a seated position as Show rolls away. Callahan goes to the ropes and tries getting up but Show runs at Callahan, hitting him with a spear that takes both men through the ropes and crashing down to the floor, collapsing on the ground in awkward positions. The crowd cheers the daring move from Showtime but they look on to see if both men are good to continue.

Connor: Both men took a nasty tumble there.

Copeland: I didn't expect the clean wrestling at the start of the match to last long between these two.

Cohen: I'm surprised there has been clean wrestling!

Powers looks to go over and check on Callahan but with Showtime getting up, he doesn't risk it and watches on as Show kicks Callahan a few times as he is getting up. Show aids Drake to his feet and throws him into the apron, followed by a hard knife-edge across the chest. "Wooo's" can be heard all around the arena as Callahan seeks refuge inside the ring, closely stalked by Showtime. Callahan is on one knee as Show pulls the chin up of Drake and hits another knife-edge. Callahan clutches his chest, wanting the pain to stop as he uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Show grabs the arm of Callahan and goes to whip him but Drake reverses, making Cougar run. Callahan tries for a boot but Show ducks, rebounding off to hit a running flying elbow to Callahan. Show follows up with a standing leg drop to finish up to a pin... 1... kick-out by Callahan very early. Show is in position for the triangle choke hold which he attempts but the savvy Callahan makes it too difficult for Show to lock in, using his arms as a deterrent. Show thinks quick and grabs one of the arms, transitioning into an arm wrench and then an armbar. Show gets to his knees to keep the leverage on his side, gaining the advantage. Drake shows resilience however and does his best to get to his feet. He does so and goes to counter Callahan but Show wrenches down on the arm of Callahan, keeping him down. However, Show lets go of the arm wrench and delivers an enzuigiri kick from out of nowhere. This change of strategy involves Show hitting the Showstopper following the kick, knocking Callahan down to the floor. Instead of going for the pin however, Show sees this as a good opportunity to head up top. He does so quicker than usual and taunts for a split second before jumping off the turnbuckles with an elbow drop... but it misses as Powers is able to insert himself and pulls Callahan away from the contact. The crowd boos as Powers is relieved that his involvement is able to get his client out of harms way.

Cohen: Smart move by a smart man, taking advantage of the new addition to the rules of no DQ.

Copeland: I bet any money that Bateman planned this with Powers & Callahan prior to the match, just like they did on Ascension.

Callahan starts to recover from the recent offensive shown by Show, who is almost to his feet, clutching his back and arm. He is able to get to a standing position and looks over at Callahan who is nearly up himself. Show walks towards Callahan but is taken by surprise as Drake pulls Show's tights and throws him to the outside, buying him some more time. Powers approaches Show who is on his hands and knees trying to get up, telling him off and praising Callahan. Drake slides out of the ring and picks up Show, whipping him into the barricade. Callahan holds onto his hand and whips Show into the apron and back into the barricade with force. Show stumbles out and Callahan delivers a sidewalk slam, punishing the back of Show; Callahan's new target. Drake rolls into the ring to break up the referee's count as disobeying a 10 count on the outside is still considered a loss, something Callahan does not want to happen. He picks up Show and tosses him into the ring, following it up with a cover... 1... kick-out by Show. The crowd cheers as Show is nowhere near down. Show does his best to get on all fours and looks to get on his feet but the constant kicks of Callahan keep bringing him down, forcing Show into the corner. Drake backs up a few steps and runs at Show, hitting a corner dropkick straight into the stomach of Show to further injure the mid-section of Show. Callahan pulls Show to the center and goes for another pin... 1... 2... kick-out again. The World champion decides to put Show into a single leg Boston crab where he seems to be less focused on the leg and more focused on putting torque on Show's back.

Connor: Although Callahan started this wave of momentum in a normally questionable fashion, he's got the right idea in taking out the back of Showtime.

Copeland: Cougar's biggest threat is the Final Act from the top and by rendering his back useless, Show can't risk permanently putting himself on the shelf with such a harsh landing.

The crowd is getting behind Show, trying to build his adrenaline up and help him escape the hold. The positioning of the submission allows Show to grab onto the bottom ropes but the referee ignores the rope break.

Cohen: No disqualifications means that Callahan can hold onto this submission for as long as he wants! Great thinking.

Show grabs on with two hands, still not changing the fact that rope breaks don't matter. Show has got different plans however as he uses the ropes to pull himself towards the apron and try to escape the ring but Callahan holds on tight. Eventually, Show finds himself hanging vertically out of the ring with his head touching the floor as Callahan does not let go of the hold... until Callahan's grip slips and is forced to let go, causing Show to collapse to the outside once more. Drake is on one knee and tells Powers to help Show back into the ring. Max is taken aback by this and argues for a moment but Callahan manages to convince Powers. He picks up Show with slight difficulty and puts Show as best he can in the ring with Callahan helping from the inside with the crowd booing. Drake goes for the cover as Powers wipes the sweat of his suit... 1... 2... kick-out. Show doesn't seem like he is out yet and tries getting to his feet. Drake is a bit frustrated by this but this feeling is dismissed quickly as Callahan pulls Show to his feet and slams him back down with a Forward Russian Legsweep. He leaves Show on his back and gets to his feet, executing a standing shooting star press across the back of Show. Callahan follows this up with his signature standing moonsault before rolling Show over for the pin... 1... 2... kick-out. Callahan is starting to get a little irritated by the referee but Powers manages to talk Drake into continuing the assault. He picks up Show at his own pace and delivers a simple belly-to-back suplex, causing Show to roll onto his stomach. Callahan sees this opportunity and heads towards the turnbuckles, climbing them slowly. He gets to the top and everyone boos as he taunts the people before jumping off: diving elbow straight into the back of Showtime. He spins Show over... 1... 2... shoulder-up to break the count. The crowd is relieved and cheers for their favourite. Callahan has no choice but to call for his finisher. He stalks his prey, waiting for Show to get up. He does so ever so slowly, causing more anticipation for everyone. As Show finally does get to his feet, Callahan and kicks him and goes for the Faded Memory. Show counters the move and manages to hit the Backstage DDT on Callahan. The crowd cheers at the counter, buying enough time for recovery.

Connor: Nice counter by Show but will it be enough?

Cohen: Asking whether he has anything left is the better question. Was that desperation or good ring presence?

Show is almost lifeless but he wants to press on, using as much of the ropes as he can to get to his feet. Callahan isn't as damaged however and gets to his feet, looking down at Show who looks to be as badly damaged as before the reversal. Callahan smirks and waits for Show to get up, slapping him in the face. He pulls Show up by his chin but Show pushes him back and hits a standing spinning clothesline, knocking down Callahan and falling down himself. It takes longer for Drake to get up but is still up before Show, angry at the fact that Show is coming back. Callahan knees Show in the stomach and tries going for a Tiger Suplex but Show rolls behind Callahan, hitting a reverse neckbreaker to Drake. Show and Callahan manage to recover at the same time now, causing Powers to yell at Callahan. Show delivers a couple of knife-edge chops to build some momentum before hitting the Ratings Crash on Callahan... 1... 2... kick-out by the champ. Show gets up and is powered up by the fans going crazy for him. He goes to run off the ropes and attempts an attack but Callahan ducks. Show stops in his tracks and turns around: running big boot by Drake, ending the short-lived comeback. He picks up Show and goes for a snap DDT but Show grabs onto the arm of Callahan and wrenches it, whipping him into the corner. Show runs at him and Callahan counters with a double kick. Drake puts Show in the corner and lifts him up to the top turnbuckle. Callahan climbs up and calls for Faded Memory, looking to deliver the avalanche kind. Show manages to block Callahan's attempts, switching it up to make Show go for the suplex but his positioning suggest that Show will deliver the move into the crowd. Show has different plans though and thrusts both of them forward, hitting a 180 twisting superplex off the top! The crowd cheers as the innovative move as both men are on the ground, hurting.

Copeland: This is it: whichever man can capitalise first will get this victory... and this crowd knows who they want to win.

The crowd is cheering loudly for Show to get to his feet as Powers does not know what to do here. He watches on intently as Show gets to his feet first but Callahan pounces, trying to lock in the Bitter End desperately... but Show rolls out of it. He stands up and so does Callahan: clothesline from Show. Cougar looks to set up the Commercial Break on Callahan but Powers is quick to jump in, looking to save his client from the submission. It was unwise though as Powers gets thrown out to the floor for his troubles, hitting the ground hard thanks to Showtime. The crowd goes wild as Powers is out and Showtime goes for the submission, locking in the Commercial Break successfully and keeping it tight. Callahan has no way of escaping the hold as he tries crawling to the ropes. He grabs the bottom but it does nothing! Show pulls Callahan into the center of the ring and wrenches back, the crowd craving for Drake to tap. He thinks about tapping but just as he goes to, the referee is pulled out of the ring. Callahan taps and Show lets go but no bell is called. He turns around and sees the referee on the outside thanks to Vance Bateman!

Copeland: Damnit! Bateman just cost Showtime the match! He could have won the World championship but Bateman took out the referee! He's going to cost Showtime his career!

Cohen: I never knew Vance had the balls.

Showtime steps out of the ring and approaches Vance, telling him off and questioning as to why he is doing this to Show. Bateman remains silent and tall as Show pushes him back. Cougar forgets about Callahan who slides out of the ring and takes out Cougar from behind, a heavily booing audience shows their disgust for what is taking place. Callahan picks up Show and throws him into the ring. Before he enters the ring, Bateman gives him the World title and smirks. Callahan smirks back and enters the ring, looking to stalk Show. Bateman revives the referee and pulls him back into the ring, then watches on as Callahan waits for the right moment.

Connor: It can't end like this, surely?

Cohen: It's no DQ rules here with the General Manager of Ascension. There isn't much anyone can do about this.

Callahan goes to whack Showtime with the belt... and Show ducks the contact. Drake turns around... sweep by Show again... Commercial Break locked in again! Callahan desperately crawls around but its pointless and before Bateman has a chance to react... Callahan taps!

The crowd is on their feet and roars at the loudest volume for the entirety of the night as Showtime picks up the victory and the referee signals for the bell. The match is over and Bateman cannot believe it! He is disbelief and before he can grab a microphone to over-rule the match, a team of security personnel nab Bateman and escort him out, with Myles and Big Dave watching from the ramp. Showtime is on his knees and holds his hands high in the air in victory.

Harrys: Here is your winner and NEW WZCW World Heavyweight Champion; "SHOWTIME" COOOOOUUUGGAAARRRR!!!

Copeland: HE DID IT! Showtime did it! His career is still in tact and he won the World title!

Cohen: After the odds that were stacked against him, he beat the man who has had him on the run for weeks.

Connor: This is a huge victory for Showtime; Callahan dished out everything he could but Show managed to still win.

Copeland: Even with the inteference from Powers and Bateman. Thank God Dave and Myles got out here before Bateman could change the end of the match.

Cohen: Look at this crowd... everyone is on their feet!

Callahan has rolled to the outside of the ring where a recovering Max Powers lays. Show is in the ring and the recovered referee hands him the World title, marking this as Show's second reign in the company. He holds the title up high in the air and celebrates his victory.

Copeland: What an amazing PPV and what an amazing ending to it as well. From all of us here at Apocalypse, we'll see you next...

The theme song of the current King for a Day contract holder changes the entire atmosphere and the crowd cannot believe what they are seeing happen and neither can Showtime. He turns to face the entrance way and looks to be ready for a fight, although weary as he may seem.

Copeland: This can't be happening! Not right now!

Cohen: No way! A perfect opportunity for Constantine!

After a few moments, no-one walks out. Show looks through the crowd to see if Constantine is lurking in the audience... he turns around and sees someone walk out onto the stage. It's not Constantine however and the crowd boos as they see Steven Holmes walk out with a smirk on his face, looking at Show who seems confused. Holmes points to his head, indicating that he is going to get inside the head of Showtime.

Connor: What's this all about?

We fade away with Steven Holmes and Showtime staring at each other, with no sign of Constantine.
