WZCW Meltdown: Episode 16

[Lee]

Meltdown takes place in the Philips Arena, Atlanta, Georgia.

Norcal v Christianson
Meltdown opens as Norcal's music hits. He comes out to a rather good reaction and gets on the mic to say how he can't believe he was beaten at Redemption by Michaels. He goes on to have a go at Myles for not giving him a rematch tonight, but instead pitting him against Kyle Christianson.

Christianson comes out to rather loud boos as he steps into the ring with Norcal. It is a very quick match where Norcal knocks Christianson to the floor and gives him the “No Mercy.” Christianson taps. Norcal doesn't even celebrate as the match is over, looking rather annoyed at this.

Shock and Callahan v Anthony Michaels for WZCW tag belts

Shock & Callahan come out first. Anthony Michaels comes out to some good heat. Shock starts in the ring with Michaels, Michaels having the advantage over Shock. There's a hot tag as Callahan turns the momentum on this. Callahan gets the “Crashing down” on Michaels but instead of the cover tags shock in. Shock goes for the “Senton splash” but Michaels moves out of the way, Michaels turns it round as out of nowhere he manages to deliver the “Game Over.”

At this point the crowd cheer as Norcal comes running down with a chair. He breaks the pin up and the referee calls a DQ. Shock & Callahan leave as Norcal & Michaels continue to brawl. Norcal gets Michaels in the “No mercy” as backstage staff and referees run down to break the men up.

Backstage we see Def come out of the locker rooms, he bumps into Diego San Pablo who asks him for an interview. Derf explains that he has a match to go to, but would appreciate it if San Pablo could arrange someone to clean the bird poo up in the locker room.

Derf v Carmen Bratchney
Derf is out first followed by Bratchney who is accompanied by Swindle McKenzie. It starts a very back and forth match, very quick with lots of bringing down of both men by the other. Derf pulls a leg injury in the match but continues as Bratchney uses this to his advantage working on his right leg.

Bratchney wins with The Petrov Driver as he walks to the back, the medical team come out toput Derf on a stretcher. The crowd claps to show their respect for Derf, this injury looks bad and he will likely be out for quite sometime.

Backstage we see Norcal knocking on the office of chairman of the board Vance Bateman. He says he came to see Bateman as Myles never listens, he asks Bateman for a match with Michaels next week. Bateman agrees and makes a match up next week of Norcal v Anthony Michaels in a steel cage match. He also says that Michaels has been stripped of the tag belts and the board has decided to suspend those belts indefinitely.

Rios, Shock, Drake Callahan and Kyle Christianson will be placed in two matches, the loser of which will be fired from WZCW effective immediately. These matches will be called the “dead wood” matches.

Vengeance v Daniel Stokes
Vengeance comes out first to chorus of boos. Stokes follows to a rather good reaction, you can tell already that the crowd will be into this match. The match starts with both men locking up and is rather physical. The crowd is shit hot for this match.

Stokes has the advantage and hits the Thunderbreaker and gives Vengeance the "DownUnder" Hook. Vengeance breaks up by grabbing onto the rope. Both men are back and forth once again eventually Vengeance gets the advantage delivering the Judge, Jury and Executioner for the three count.

A very good match by both men, the crowd was really into it.

Dynasty (Rios, Legend & Milenko) v Will, GM and Red Mask.
Dynasty come out first and Milenko grabs the mic. Milenko explains his decisions on joining the greatest group that ever existed, Legend has his say on how Red Mask has much to pay for. Rios grabs the mic and says how proud he is of having the Mayhem and Elite X title in Dynasty. He says they're on a roll and there's nothing anyone can do about it. As this happens Wills music hits to the biggest pop of the night, followed by him is GM to another great pop. Red Mask gets a rather mixed reaction as the fans don't know what to expect from him.

All three men look at each other on the ramp as Will sprints down and goes for Rios. Rios and Will are very back and forth. Rios tags Milenko as Will looks round turns to GM and says, “He's yours. there's only one man I want”

Will runs out to get Rios as both men really go at it outside the ring. This is very brutal with lots of weapons being used.

Milenko has the advantage over GM as he and Legend keep tagging back and forth between the two of them. Eventually GM gets the hot tag as Red Mask climbs the top rope to deliver a flying clothesline to Legend. After a 2 count Legend tags Milenko in as he dominates Red Mask. Milenko goes for the Tempest as Red Mask counters and tags GM in. GM delivers the Big Bang, as Legend breaks up the pin after two. Red Mask runs in and takes Legend down with The Thundera. Milenko and GM are go at it one on one as Milenko manages to tag Legend. GM gives Legend the Hand of Prophecy as he makes the pin for the victory.

Outside the ring Rios and Will are still at it, both very bloody, both very clearly done in. Will gives Rios the Willennium as Wills music plays and he males his way to the back.

 

[Steamboat Ricky]

Manzo - Everest Contract Signing: WZCW World Heavyweight Championship Match at Apocalypse


Manzo and Everest both stand in the ring along with Magnus Maximillion and WZCW Interviewer Diego San Pablo, where there's a red mat and folding table with black table cloth and a clipboard on top. Manzo and Everest look at each other with deathly stares, both signing the contract after some bickering between Everest and Magnus.

All of a sudden, the lights go out, and a video package plays.

*He was banished...now he's BACK*

The video package ends and Steamboat Ricky's music hits and he hits the ring with Polley draped over his shoulder. He walks into the ring with a purpose, declaring that he should be challenging for the WZCW Title, but he was banished and unable to compete.

All of a sudden the lights go out in the arena again, and a bolt of lightning strikes the stage, igniting a sign saying, "The Master comes to Meltdown...next week." As an evil laugh plays over the PA, the camera zooms in on a focused and intense Steamboat Ricky whose face is glowing with the flames from the stage, bringing Meltdown to an end.

Michaels beats Shock & Callahan via DQ after a run in from Norcal.

Bratchney beats Derf by pin

Vengeance beats Stokes by pin

GM, Will and Red Mask beat Dynasty by GM pinning Legend.
