I was always a closet Jericoholic when he was in the WCW, but once Chris Jericho made the jump to the WWE, with one of the greatest debuts ever, he solidified himself as a superstar in my eyes. The beauty of it, for me, was that I wasn't really into reading about wrestling (assuming spoiler sites even existed in 1999) so when he came out, it really was a surprise. Obviously, some fans knew he was coming, as evidenced by the signs in the audience, but I had no idea.

I was 7 when I saw this and I'm a massive Michaels fan but this really cemented Hart for me as one of my favourites.

My favorite moment is most definetly when Jericho made his debut on Raw, but since that has already been used in this thread I will use another. I always like Goldberg but he went from good to god in the second Elimination Chamber which took place at Summerslam in 2003. He was absolutly unstoppable, he went through Randy Orton, Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels like a pro football player on a pee wee team. The devastation of his Vertical Suplex Powerslam and his amazing spear(which I believe he did better than any superstar) absolutly blew my mind in this match and solidified him as one of my all time favorites.

This was the first time i saw chris jericho as a proper main event guy. The promo was done to perfection showing jericho's obsession with his idol and then wanting to prove to himself that he was better than his idol. It was also michaells fist wrestlemania in years and mr wrestlemania diddnt dissapoint they put on a wrestling clinic in the ring that night they stole the show in my opinion.
I was instantly captivated by jerichos promo that night beforehand i saw him as annoying, after that night i saw him as my favourite wrestler.

I remember watching this with my two brothers. We were all wowed by the lights and pyro, but we then we all agreed that WCW apparently didn't teach their wrestlers how to act.
