The Hood
In a world full of larger than life super villains with horrific goals, its easy to forget the street level criminals. Sure, Green Goblin, Dr. Doom, and Magneto are all threats to the entire worlds population, but that doesnt mean there arent powerful baddies lurking in the allies. The Hood is one of those powerful street crooks.
Parker Robbins was just your everyday two-bit conman and thief. His exploits, while impressive to fellow crooks, were nothing to write home about. His hobbies included pick pocketing, shoplifting, and boosting goods from trucks and warehouses. He never seemed to have much interest in starting a criminal empire, and he probably didnt have what it takes to run such an endeavor anyway.
That all changed when Robbins found a cloak and a pair of boots that imbued him with supernatural abilities. He was suddenly able to levitate and turn invisible while holding his breath. Little did he know that by donning the cloak and boots he had allowed himself to become possessed by the demon Dormammu. He was able to retain much of his free will, but under The Hood Parker became much darker and more powerful.
Eventually The Hood was able to use his powers and influence to create a massive criminal organization that thrived while the worlds superheroes were too busy fighting amongst themselves in the Civil War. As time went by many heroes would take shots at The Hood, but he always managed to escape.
The Hood is the perfect balance of power, smarts, and evil. He knows his limits and when he cant win a fight straight up, and thats when he uses his thieving abilities to give himself the advantage. Any one of his competitors can quickly find themselves at a disadvantage if an important object of theirs suddenly disappears, or if they find themselves staring in the eyes of Dormammu himself.
Powers
- Power Blasts- The Hood is able to shoot bursts of electricity from his hands, a power granted to him by the demon Dormammu.
- Illusion Transparency- Dormammu has given The Hood the ability to see through even the most powerful illusions.
Abilities
- Master Thief- The Hood has spent much of his life sneaking and thieving, and has a deft touch for stealing personal items.
Assets
- Magic Cloak- This cloak allows The Hood to turn invisible at will.
- Magic Boots- These boots allow The Hood to levitate and air walk.
- Dual Pistols- The Hood carries two pistols. While he isnt the marksman that a Hawkeye or Bullseye type character is, he is quite proficient with his weapons.
