D-Man

Gone but never forgotten.
Which is the worse wrestling feud of all time, Al Snow vs. Big Boss Man (Kennel from Hell) or Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez?

This is a sixth round match in the Debater's League. Spoodbeest is the home debater and gets to choose which side of the debate they will be on and who debates first, but they have 24 hours to make their choice.

This thread is for DEBATERS ONLY and will end on Friday at 2pm EST.

Anyone that posts in this thread besides the debaters, league admins, and judges will be infracted!

Good luck.

Since GuyCompton has not posted his opening statements yet, D-Man has given me permission to once again be the home debater as scheduled. I chose to argue that Big Boss Man vs. Al Snow was the more abysmal feud. I also will be going first, which I will post an opening statement shortly.

The subject of debate this week is the following:

Which is the worse wrestling feud of all time, Al Snow vs. Big Boss Man (Kennel from Hell) or Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez?

1. The Build Up was Over the Top and Goofy

Now this is rather simple because Big Boss Man vs. Al Snow's feud that capped off in the ever so ridiculous "Kennel from Hell" match. THe entire feud was extremely terrible with over the top antics through out the entire ordeal. The feud started normally over the Hardcore title before Boss Man tried to make things "personal" by getting Snow's dog "Pepper" involved in their issues.

As the feud progressed Boss Man would basically take Pepper hostage to gain an advantage in the mind games against Snow. The story-line was furthered when Boss Man killed Pepper, chopped him up, cooked his meat, and then fed him to Al Snow. This was to gain the ultimate heel revenge but it happened to be one the dumbest things to feud over of all time. This of course led to their infamous final encounter at Unforgiven 1999.

2. The Match was Horrendous

Their match at Unforgiven will go down in history as one of the worst professional wrestling gimmick matches of all time. It was basically a Hell in a Cell like structure with another cage built in surrounding the ringside area. The goal of the match was to escape but you also had to avoid getting attacked by vicious dogs that surrounded the exits. That doesn't sound like anything the fans would eat up at all. The match was horrible because it had one of the worst concepts for a gimmick ever mixed with a ridiculous feud and resulted in a pile of shit.

3. The Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez was a More Serious feud

This feud was built up over the fact that The Undertaker who at the time seemed like an unstoppable monster was being decimated and man handled by an even more intimidating figure. As their feud led to their inevitable match at WrestleMania Gonzalez was the man who was dominating the feud. There was fear if Undertaker could even survive the match. Undertaker ended up taking Gonzalez to the limit causing the giant to get intentionally disqualified but the big match feel was always there because the feud was clearly taken more seriously. A feud similiar to this for Undertake, would have been his feud with The Great Khali in 2006. This wasn't over a dog getting eaten, dognapped, and what not, no this was about a dominant force meeting his maker in a bigger and more dominate foe and his struggle to over come the beast.

Final Word:
In the end both matches may have sucked but Snow Vs. Boss Man was clearly the more ludicrous feud that wasn't taken seriously in the least bit, that is something you cannot say the same about for the Taker vs. Gonzalez feud.

After a complete judge's tally, Spoodbeest is the victor on 20 points to GuyCompton's 0.
