PDN or Gimp?

So, I finally got all my appz back in my lap. All, but one: Photoshop!

how in the world I can make my own sigs without this baby?

and i thought: Working in Photoshop is kind of a hazzle with all the options, effects, textures, filters, etc, etc... don't get me wrong: Photoshop kick ass, I love it and it's the best and most complete, but I think I want to give it a try to a completely FREE app like PaintDotNet or The Gimp.

So, fine people of WZ, help me decide: should i start using (again) PDN? or should i try The Gimp?

Other software/suggestions accepted! Free software only if possible!! (just put the name of the app, no links...i'll take care of it, thanks!)

I use GIMP. I used to make the AWESOME sig I have now...





Ok maybe I need some work. But it's really easy to use and easy to learn.

Seeing as I use GIMP...use GIMP! Once you get the hang of it you can do so much with it. Very nifty thing to have.
