Not gonna happen in this day and age. WWE is PG now and more importantly, their female audience has grown significantly since the Attitude Era.
The Bra and Panties matches were usually reserved for women who were incredibly sexy but couldn't wrestle to save their lives (e.g., Torrie Wilson), a description that fits Kelly Kelly, the Bella Twins, Rosa Mendes and too many others on the Diva roster.

As much as I like to see women take each other's clothes off some of those matches are more violent and degrading than they are titillating. They certainly meant more before we lived in an age where you can see that and a lot more by typing in to a search engine whatever your perverted little mind was in the mood for.
Plus half the women are basically already wrestling in not much more than bra and panties anyway.

Bra and Panties matches never did anything for me (insert lame gay joke here).
Whilst I am all for watching Half-naked women roll around and attempt to strip each other of clothes and deprive each other kafaybe decency, it's not anything that is going to comeback soon. I am indifferent to them, sure they are entertaining but not as entertaining as good storylines and great Diva matches (which we never get either). With the PG rating doing little to restricting cleavage, I still don't see something like this passing by good with parents.
Within ten seconds of a Google search you'll be satisfied if you crave something like B&P matches.

Yes it should return. Any match that ever was done should NEVER be taken away from the fans, that's just dumb. First Blood, Bra & Panties, Deathmatches should be used in WWE for the first time. If a match exists, use it, why limit yourself to just the overplayed Steel Cage, Last Man Standing, Casket etc matches that are still great, but that we see all the time. We never see 100's of other match types and not all are overly brutal, but damnit it's been a long time since we've seen many. I could name damn near 100 matches we havent seen in a long time on WWE programming or ever and it's sad.
I dont care what your opinion is on not getting off to it or it not being your cup of tea. Respect it, but understand it doesnt matter, you dont HAVE to like it, but there ARE people who do and for that reason alone it should be granted to them. I love these matches and it's not all about the sexuality which is still hot to me. You dont see THESE specific women in porn so why not see them in their bra and panties?
Guys wrestle in less anyway and they still have Tuxedo Matches which is the male version and Big Dick Johnson still showed more than any Diva after Divas couldnt show much anymore so WTF?
The Bra & Panties Match is similar to an "Item" on a Pole Match of any kind as it's a race to strip the other's clothes off and again guys have this match. It can be fun in a suspense factor too. I dont get off to Tuxedo Matches, doesnt mean I cant be entertained by them.
Stop making it all about the sexuality and acting as if hundreds of other matches arent more entertainment and less wrestling. Any match still includes wrestling and can include great wrestling. You can see a great tech Bra & Panties Match as two women work body parts of each other, lock on submission holds etc to weaken the opponent then rip off the clothing. You wont see tech wrestling every time in an Inferno Match, a Scaffold Match. So I just dont wanna hear the less wrestling excuse either.
This match should return, First Blood should return as well even if only used once a year for personal feuds (Orton/Barrett- Mania or Extreme Rules)
but dont deprive the fans of that which we have known in the past!

They were stupid even back when the Divas had wrestling and acting ability. They'd be bullshit bathroom-break matches in today's product, never mind the fact that they'd be horrendously out of place in a PG product. The WWE going PG was a smart move, considering now, the more provocatively dressed the Divas are, the more of an effect it will have, rather than just desensitizing the audience with a constant titty flash every five minutes.

Well, no, not really. If I were that desperate to see female bodies I'd watch porn or go to a strip club. Keyword there being women... unless WWE re-hire Maryse and she has a B&P match... by herself.. I'm not really interested in the manfaced "women" currently known as divas.

I think just about every male WWE fan wants it to come back, but the increase in female fans has pretty much killed Bra and Panties. They would complain about it being derogatory toward women. PG doesn't help, either...

I'm sure the ratings would go through the roof if the Bra and Panties match were to come back. Who knows? They may make a whole PPV out of it. Hugh Hefner can make cameo appearances and bring in some of his Playboy playmates. It would be awesome. Maybe Lawler can revert back to his old puppy-loving self. Lord knows he needs to.
