Ziggler to TNA?

Starkist

(To Rip) The Heart From Your Hate
It is on the main page. Appearently a former TNA write claims Ziggler is TNA bound once his WWE contract is up.

I usually do not buy into dirt sheets, but this could be cool. I personally am a fan of Ziggler so I'd be happy to see him in TNA.

What do you all think about this news? Would you like to see Ziggler in the TNA?

This would be stupid on both ends. They don't have a way to capitalize on a big crossover signing, and he has nothing to prove by going there. He could win the belt, hold it for a year, beat every star in every gimmick match, and it won't mean squat compared to his time in WWE.

Had this been pre-Hogan, then it would be great. He'd have fit right in with the X-Division, when they really needed a brawler/non-flier type, and he'd have been on national TV weekly, and headlining some PPVs. But this is 2015, and the only place he can go to be better off than where he's at, is Japan. Maybe.

The only way I see this happening is Ziggler going into part-time mode in wrestling to focus on his comedy act. WWE schedule is very taxing. Ziggler can be a part time attraction in a promotion like TNA but not a chance in WWE.

Take him. I'm sure IDR would fucking despise him so that could be fun to watch.

:lmao:

I don't think I've really seen enough of his work to have an opinion at all on him, other than he has arguably the stupidest name in wrestling history.

Dolph Ziggler? Who the fuck came up with that shit?

I take it no-one remembers that this ludicrous ring name was something similar (only much worse) to John Hennigan getting John Morrison because he had a passing resemblance to the Door's frontman, Jim Morrison. Much worse because it was based on a character based on a pornstar (Dirk Diggler) as played by Mark Wahlberg in 'Boogie Nights'.

Returning to Nick Nemeth mightn't be the worst move.

He does have talent in which TNA might be exactly what he needs. Lighter schedule with the ability to work indie dates plus his comedy act, it could be the best thing for him. Plus, it would make Nate happy he is no longer on WWE TV.

I see TNA being the least likely landing spot for Dolph if he in fact leaves WWE.

It's not a good fit and I don't foresee the money being there for him.
