That would be nearly as bad of an idea as putting Cien Almas vs Bob Roode in brooklyn

He has no real feud going (thank fuck the shit with Owens is done for the time being) on at the moment, therefore, he's not on the show. I'd rather him be kept off the main show if it's just going to just be a throwaway match.

Although the Rusev/Reigns feud is fine, having Sami chase the US title instead of Roman would have been a great layup to his MOTY candidate at Battleground.

While Sami's relative inactivity hasn't peeved me quite as much as some others, it is disappointing that WWE wouldn't strike while the iron's hot and feature him prominently, even if it's just beating guys every week without a real story. Anything to keep his momentum going. He did beat Sheamus clean though, so that's something.

Right now his status is somewhat reminiscent of Sasha's absence post WM after being the hottest woman in company earlier in the year.

That exactly my thoughts.. Zayn or Cesaro chasing the US title would be a logical choice. I know they wanted to relegrate Reigns and all points show that Reigns will probably be the US Champion in two months from now.

Hopefully, if Rollins walks out of Summerslam as the champ and that's a big if, Zayn will be the next on the line to challenge him, since RAW really has no other top faces other than Balor.
