Your Top 5 Tag Teams

Wolf Pac

Mid-Card Championship Winner
New Age Outlaws - I first started watching wrestling around 1998, so this was the first team that I grew up with and as a kid I had a blast watching them on every show at the time. Road Dogg's mic work was awesome & would always get me hyped up and they delivered decent matches here & there. These two were actually the most entertaining members of DX for me, honestly.

Edge & Christian - Another team I grew up watching and these guys were hilarious. Nobody has made me laugh harder in the wrestling business than these two, they're the kings of wrestling comedy. On top of that, they gave us epic Ladder matches and TLC matches with The Hardys & The Dudleys.

The Steiners - Probably the only real legendary team on my list. These two were just complete badasses in the ring, they blow me away with all their moves especially their power moves & creative moves and always put on great matches. Very fun to watch.

The Eliminators - Another badass tag team. They were supposed to be ECW's version of the Road Warriors and while they weren't on LOD's level, they were still terrific in the ring and had a badass tag team name & tag team finisher.

Stone Cold Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels - They weren't a legit team but in the two tag team matches they had together, they both had great chemistry with each other and for a while, had me believing they were a legit tag team until I snapped back to reality and remembered they weren't, and it was always fun to watch them bicker & fight with each other in segments & matches. Coming from two great tag teams like the Hollywood Blondes and The Rockers though, I'm not suprised the two did so well as a team even if it was just a random pairing and for a short while.

Honorable Mentions

Stone Cold Steve Austin & Dude Love - Another random pairing that had great chemistry even if it was short lived. I loved Mankind's "Pick Me Steve" campaign when Austin was looking for a new partner and it was always sad to see Austin turn him down until the tag team match when Mick came out as Dude near the end of the match and won the belts for him & Austin, it was an emotional but awesome moment.

Prime Time Players - Even though they are the new kids on the block, they have personality & charisma and they crack me up when they go over the top with their "Millions Of Dollars" dancing, and with A.W in their corner, I see them going places.

The Gangstas - Watching them beating the tar out of the other wrestlers with random weapons while Natural Born Killaz by Dre & Ice Cube was playing in the background throughout the whole thing was awesome and I'd always get a laugh out of New Jack on the mic especially when he would say "Fuck" about 3000 times in one promo. They were also the inspiration for the Nation Of Domination, another stable that I liked.

I like your tastes. I shall so a lot of it will seem similar lol.

1. The New Age Outlaws- I don't think they get enough credit for what they did. There were incredibly fun and charismatic. That whole "Ladies and gentleman boys and girls" sing along was GOLD. You go to a WWE show and you got The Rock, Steve Austin and The New Age Outlaws you had a hell of a fun interactive experience.

2.Road Warriors- When the music hits and the fans erupt and you see these two menacing bruisers strutting to the ring with the spiked shoulder pads and face paint. Man wow, that was a mark out moment. How could you not think these guys were cool? Their finisher looked legitametly dangerous and was so bad ass and still is. I remember one day really pondering if I liked L.O.D. or the New Age Outlaws better and the Outlaws barely edged them out.

3.Steiners- They could beat you up, they could wrestle you to the mat, they could suplex you over their heads. The Steiners had something for everybody. I believe Scott Steiner is his prime was one of the best all around wresters ever. A guy so strong, that could deliver such a beautiful Frankensteiner. And Rick he has suplexes too and was just so strong and tough and resilent. And they also had their own twist on the Dooms Day Device. These guys were really fun to watch.

4.The Hardy Boyz- I remember going to a Raw back in 98 and seeing Jeff and Matt come out and my friend would laugh at them and call them jobbers. To see their evolution and watching Jeff morph into this fearless Daredevil that did these breath taking moves in ladder matches and Matt become an efficient technical wrestler, it was really cool to see.

5.Sting & Lex Luger- I'm a mark for surfer Sting, and Luger as the Narcassist was one of my favourite gimmicks ever. They were a team that mixed power and speed. You could tell that there were real life friends and the fans went nuts when they came out together. They had really great matches over the years against The Road Warriors, Harlem Heat and the Steiners. They were these two great single stars that came together to make a very popular tag team in a time when WCW was really hot.

The Steiner Brothers - Loved them since their early WCW days when I was a kid. Scott Steiner's Frankensteiner was such a cool move then. Seeing a big man do a move like that was awesome for the time. A powerhouse team that could wrestle.

The Road Warriors - Best team in history. Just crushed their opponents. Loved that facepaint and shoulder pad spikes. A badass team all around.

The Rockers - Loved watching the highflying Rockers take on the bigger teams of Demolition and The Hart foundation.

The New Age Outlaws - A thrown together team that really took off. A really good addition to DX. They actually shaved the Road Warriors heads. Unheard of stuff there. Also got a rub from Mick Foley and Terry Funk. One of the best teams ever IMO

Edge & Christian - they had the ability to hang with the best in some Brutal matches, and were so funny in their promos as well. Such a great combination of talents. Who could forgot the 5 second pose?

DEMOLITION
one of my all time fav teams. they brought a lot of intensity to there matches and had a fantastic look. plus you have to have the longest reigning tag champions off all time in your top 5.

THE ROAD WARRIORS
the best tag team of all time. just like demolition they brought intensity to there matches and had a great look. but for a tag team there on the mic skills were second to none. i don't think we will ever see another tag team this good again.

TOO COOL
i know there will be some that don't like this choice. but for me they were one off the best teams of there generation. they were the perfect comedy duo. they have given us some off the best loved moments on raw. who else could pull of a dance number during the royal rumble.

THE DUDLEY BOYZ
in my opinion one off the best things to ever come out of ecw. second only to rob van dam. they have been crown champions more times then any other winning the tag titles in every major promotion they have been in and were able to take there hardcore style that people loved them for in ecw. and mould it to fit the style of wrestling that made them multiple time wwe tag champions.

EDGE @ CHRISTIAN
no matter weather they were a face or a heel. you could not help but cheer for them. they worked so well together in the ring and on the mic that it is no surprise that when they turned there atention to singles careers they both went on to become world champion.

1. New Age Outlaws - They were my favorite growing up. It was just their attitude, degeneracy.

2. Legion of Doom - Two guys that would come out and kick ass. They knew their job and they executed it. The ovation when they walked into the arena was like two main eventers.

3. Motorcity Machine Guns - They've done things in that ring that these other tag teams never even dreamed of. Truly phenomenal as in-ring talents.

4. Beer Money - More phenomenal in-ring talents, not quite like the Guns, but they had more character and persona to carry them.

5. A.P.A. - I loved watching these guys kick ass.
