Simple question....if you were a WWE superstar what would your entrance song be? also to make it more interesting...possible gimmick ideas???

i think its got great rythm to it and would make for a great entrance especially if remixed and edited correctly.

and for my gimmick, perhaps a sort of ultimate oppotunist character like edge, but be a face, as im sure there can be nothing better than being totally over with the crowd.

anyway, enough of me, what are your ideas? Can't wait to here

There's a song by Collective Soul called "Simple", it's off of their 2nd album I think & it's always crossed me as a very powerful song with a great riff & drum beat. As far as a background goes, I really don't know what would go over anymore, things that as an adult I think are silly go over big while things that I think are a good idea fall flat on it's face. I'm big on the whole Santino thing, where someone from the audience (obviously a plant) gets his big shot, and it's later revealed that he's a construction worker, or cop, or bodyguard, or MMA fighter, or former Special Forces, somebody that can be legitimately tough.
Before I get spammed, since some people have trouble following a coherent thought...I know Santino wasn't any of those things, I was saying that he was a plant in the audience that was supposed to be a 'hometown hero' going up against Umaga.

I would probably go along the lines of an instrumental version of "Down From the Sky" by Trivium. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51YggxMXn7g) It has a kickass intro to it, and then goes into some awesome riffs.

And I'd have my gimmick to be a very serious character, such as Chris Jericho, but not as business-like as he is. Maybe Jericho crossed with CM Punk.

"Rise Rebel Resist" by OTEP would be my wrestling theme. The strobes would flicker to the bass and green and black light spots would spin around with the lyrics.

I've fallen in love with that song over the past handful of weeks, but my backup theme would be "Mantis Hymm" from Metal Gear Solid with an Undertaker/Gangrel type entrance to it.

Since the moment I heard the song I have said that would be my theme. From the moment it hits its awesome. And would surely be something to have the crowd going.

As to the character.... not sure if the term romantic badass is right but the line to work off would be "I'm a fighting lover"

I would have to go with Path to Decay by Sirenia. Its depressing yet very enjoyable.

And my gimmick would have to be a heel who is fair, honorable and truthful. Just to make the face / heel line blurred.

Id use that theme(X-Ecutioners & Linkin Park- Its Going Down) and a similar tron (from 0.00-0.18) But instead of saying "Do you smell..." Mine would have to say: "Just to letcha know... I don't give a damn". Combine that with blinking red and white lights and me bobbling my head on my way to the ring and you have my entrance theme.
