Your Favorite Mobile Games?

DarksideEric

Call me "Hadouken." I'm ↓→ fierce.
We'll go with non-emulated and stick to purely mobile games.

They can be free or paid.

My favorites currently are:

Marvel Puzzle Quest
Plants vs. Zombies 2
Catan
Border Siege (RISK)

I have Brave Frontier but have yet to actually try it.

I'm looking for some good, non-card based, RPGs.

Yours?

I was also thoroughly disappointed in Pegland Deluxe, and I loved the hell out of Peggle.

Booking Revolution: A wrestling game that kinda feels like Royal Rumble for Sega Genesis (Super Nintendo too I think). You create a guy and become booker for one of a half dozen promotions and try to make it successful in ratings and money making. You play the matches and it has a 5 star rating system. It has real past and present wrestlers but no license for them so they have fake names. You can change the names if you buy the full version for $5.

Curling 3D: Pretty self explanatory if you know what Curling is.

Snake & Bounce! <3

I miss Bounce. Those sounds and the lovely feeling of squeezing through gaps of brick walls and taking huge leaps as a big red ball. Ah. My childhood.

Truth be told, I've been wanting to post up a Mobile Game App Review thread in The Media Hub for a while. I think I'll probably go ahead and do that.

I've played mobile games on two platforms (excluding black & white mobiles)- Android and Java. Now Android is a really horrible platform for gaming, so I'll only mention Java games:

1. Age Of Empires III: The Asian Dynasties
- This game totally stretched the abilities of the Java platform. It featured Japan, China, and India. New features over its predecessor was the improved and more difficult AI, exclusive units for each country, building forts for advancing in ages, and your units were not dumbfucks. Disadvantage was that everything happened in slow motion.

2. FIFA 10, 11, 12, 13, 14...
Same drill, with upgraded squads and stats. A lot of button-mashing, but totally worth it. FIFA rocks!

3. Asphalt 3: Street Rules
-This was the best game in the series until Adrenaline was released. It had a variety of racing modes, the cars handled much better, the music was fantastic, the graphics were cool, and everything was fine.

4. Castaway
-I might be getting the name wrong, but it was something like that. Great game. It has a lot of interaction between the characters, and requires you to complete a lot of tasks like hunting and gathering.

5. X-Files
-If someone is into crime scene investigation and stuff, then this is a great game.

6. Diamond Rush
-Great for killing time. This is a challenging game without being repetitive or resorting to cheating. Mom had it on her mobile and it is one of the only two games in which she is better than me. The other being:

7. Zuma (and Zuma's Revenge):
Another game that one will be spending a lot of time trying to conquer. But unlike Diamond Rush, the AI cheats A LOT in this one. Zuma's revenge is much easier in that aspect, and has boss battles too.

8. TNA Impact!
-(The first one) It was a bit too complicated for my taste, so I didn't play the career mode more than twice. The game included a lot of stuff like underhanded tactics, using cheers from the crowd to refill your energy, EPIC insults, a love triangle, betrayal and what not. Its a step up from typical mobile wrestling games where you just beat one opponent after another until the end of career mode.

9. Worms Reloaded
-I'm a big fan of the Worms mobile games, and this is the best game from the series, in my opinion. Armageddon looks promising too, but for some reason it ran very slow on my mobile.

10. Worms Forts: Under Siege
-This is the first Java game I ever played; I remember playing it on my sister's mobile, along with Extreme Air Snowboarding and Gauntlet- both great games too. It had some weapons that no other games from the series did.

11. Medal Of Honor: "Airbourne" and "Warfighter"
-Because we have a lot of testosterone and we love playing soldiers at war. Also because Call Of Duty sucks.

12. TMNT: "The Ninja Tribunal" and "The Shredder Reborn"
-Cowabunga! Its one long repetitive career mode, but the number of abilities you learn, and the urge to "kick some shells" keep you going for many hours, as you'll see on the timer.
