Youmanga > Joe in every way shape and form

Joe doesn't impress me that much. He is nowhere near as big as Umaga, and he doesn't carry his weight well like Umaga does. In fact, he just looks sloppy and fat. The muscle buster is pretty weak, but then again, so is the Somoan thumb jab crap Spike, so that is pretty much a wash.

How is he nowhere near as big as Umaga? I guarantee if you put them side by side they'd be almost the exact same height and size. Exaggeration isn't a good thing, my friend. Joe carries his weight just as good as Umaga, they're both fat and out of shape looking men.. and Umaga can move rather agile and fast for his size, but so can Joe. Anyone saying Joe can't move like Umaga hasn't even watched Samoa Joe.. the man's as quick as a cruiserweight.

I think the Samoan Spike fits Umaga perfectly and is a great finisher for him, as it works entirely well with his gimmick. How is the Muscle buster weak? Let someone pick you up, contorted like a box, on their shoulders.. run across the ring and drop you on your head and shoulders and see if you say the moves weak. It certainly looks much better then a lot of finishers in TNA or WWE; and the combination of the muscle buster and the choke hold works perfectly and I think the choke hold is a great finisher for Samoa Joe because it compliments his character. That's what makes a finisher good for a wrestler, and both Umaga and Joe have good finishers, while other people have bad and unmemoriable ones because their finishers don't compliment their character/gimmick and mean nothing.

Joe > Umaga

IMO there is no way in hell Umaga is better than Joe in anyway except being a freak. Joe has way better mic skills because Umaga doesn't have any. Joe is a better in ring superstar who actually does some cool moves to win his matches not just sticking his thumb out and ramming it into the opponents throat.

So, I see Joe as a way better, popular, superstar than Joe. This match would be interesting but, Joe would HOPEFULLY come up with the win.

In my opinion Joe is very good, but Umaga is better. True Joe does the jumping through the ropes, and moves as quick as any cruiserweight (which I find very impressive), but from what I've heard Umaga can do the same thing, and do it better. You can see that Umaga is very quick, and his character is supposed to me the more oh crap hes huge, and be scared for your life wrestler, not the technical type (at least yet) and hopefully slowly the WWE can show what he is capable of doing (if it's stuff I hear he can do, it sounds better than Joe). As a lot of people were saying he is one of the best sellers the WWE has, one of the best wrestlers, even without being technical (if he can make Cena and Kane look good, that makes you essentially good), only other wrestler that can make pratically anyone look good I think is Finley. As far as mic skills when he just screams in Somoan heading to the ring thats just awesome because once again thats his character, although I heard there gonna have him talk normally soon.

Joe is nowhere near the same size as Umaga, in height or weight. Umaga's got a giant ass and gut, but he does have a pretty well developed upper body. Joe has the same build in his lower body but is not nearly as big. Plus, as pointed out before, his chest and arms are puny. If you believe Joe is 290, great. He's not. Mark out for the Muscle Buster all you want, I think it's garbage. That's how opinions work. Neither one of us is right, per se, because it's just an opinion.

Interesting. Here's the thing, i feel Joe is a mark for himself and has had everything handed to him. When he first went to ROH he got a big push, then he came into TNA and went on a huge winning streak. Then he starts to bitch, where some guys would give a left nut to be in his spot on the card. It must of deflated his ego whenhe got a lukewarm response to his shoot from Turning Point. I like Joe, but he is becoming incredibly lazy. He doesn't look motivated and doesn't seem to try anymore imo.

Here is the thing. I think the major difference is as clear as the difference between WWE and TNA, specifically how the two are booked and marketed. Although he is the "top-of-the middle" of the card, Umaga has been booked a lot better over the past two years or so. Also, he's benefited from the WWE's marketing machine and has a better and more distinct look.

Joe has a lot of talent, but because of some questionable booking, he really hasn't lived up to his potential. Look at Joe's physical appearance. He doesn't have the body of a Batista -- that is fine -- but he comes to the ring wearing those little $20 bike shorts that showcase his lack of a physique. In the past, he's come to the ring wearing jeans and t-shirts looking more like a fan than a world champion.

Maybe Joe wouldn't be in a "top" position in the WWE. But if he was, there's no way WWE would make the same mistakes that TNA did. For that reason, I'd say Umaga is in a better position than Joe.
