YET ANOTHER pay per view name change.

Coco

Mid-Card Championship Winner
We reported several weeks ago that WWE decided to change the name of their Cyber Sunday PPV as the event has seen a decline in interest in the past several years. WWE initially changed the PPV name to "Annihilation," however some officials within WWE did not like that name and so they decided to change it back to Cyber Sunday. It appears as if officials have agreed on a name that they all like as WWE.com is now reporting that the PPV has changed names now a third time. The new official name of the October event is "WWE Bragging Rights."
So... is this the gimmick show where NO titles are on the line?

"He's the World Heavyweight Champion, but there's something on the line tonight worth far more than that title. This is about manhood. This is about pride. This... is about Bragging Rights!"

So, what you're saying is that the PPV will be like the Wrestlemania main-event?

You know, shit?

Usually when 2 wrestlers fight for bragging rights any title one of them may have isn't on the line

There could be a champion versus champion vs champion sort of match. No title on the line, but the respect of the brands

Something tells me it's just a heel only PPV. They must have made this PPV specifically for Triple H or Edge, most of it will feature segments where Edge tells people they're wrong and Triple H has 17 World Titles, a fun date to fit in the calendar I'm sure!
