Xemnas - My First Showcase

I don't actually create my own backgrounds, unlike those that use photoshop like Theo and Doc. I use Sony Vegas Pro 9, which is a movie editor. I'd like to think I do really well considering I'm using it for something it's not suppose to be used for. I just mix and match really well, and then edit color, shade, feather, and anything else you can think of that would make the image sort of my own.

I love any "evil savior" character whether it be a heel wrestler, or a fictional character. It was a very simple to put together though. The hardest part was the lettering actually. I put a gausian blur around them to match their side of the backround, added contrast and then did the lettering using two layers.

Heavy color editing and shading, but really the simplest. It's also one I don't have a right to call mine becuase so much of it's beauty comes from the original art. I just made "improvments" then sized it down and bordered it. I made it more colorful from right to left, and added alot of contrast to make it shine. Plus the lettering. I masked the woman and added a layer to get the shade around her. Sexy as hell, but a work of art none the less.

My very first wrestling signature, and probably the one I worked the hardest on. Given that it has ten different layers it really should look better. I grayscaled everything, Masked Bryan and Morrison, feathered them out, then gave them all a red glow. I contrasted Taker and gave him a black glow to make him stand out even more. I messed up a little bit on the left side, but it's still definetly something I'm proud of.

I'm new to this so criticism is more than welcome- It's encouraged. Please comment and let me know your thoughts.

Hmmm, I smell a fresh batch of fresh baked sig.

His royal deadness....
I used lightning as a screen effect, and contrasted everything. I turned the backround purple, used a gaussian blur to smooth out the deadman, added a black glow, and added a wee bit more lightning which I faded in behind him.

Forty seconds....tick tock...tick tock.

I used the exact same effects from the previous one, but made it red instead of purple.
Also there's less lightning. And I added the numbers in the backround to symbolize the countdown of his victims.

With this one the first thing I noticed was Jericho is a fair bit stretched sideways and the Jesus isn't centered to see his face in the middle (which if I'm right you wanted in the middle). Other than those small things I quite like this piece.

I actually don't think this piece has anything wrong with it at all and is a decent graphic to be proud of.

This last piece has a good background which is dark and compliments the picture as a whole, but there are small things you would want to consider one that was told to me by Doc and Theo is that a boarder can make a picture formal and look a whole lot better and like the first picture a character that is stretched will stic out more than the others. CM Punk is stretched longways but other than those small things I like it.
