WZCW Presents Kingdom Come

Hey guys, Yaz here. I'm currently the Head of Creative for our e-fed, WrestleZone Championship Wrestling, or WZCW for short.

Those of us that are a part of WZCW put a lot of hard work in making it the best section on WrestleZone. It just so happens that our biggest show of the year, Kingdom Come, is taking place tomorrow, as is our Hall of Fame ceremony. As you may have guessed, Kingdom Come is essentially our Wrestlemania. We pull out all the stops and go balls to the wall to make Kingdom Come the best show possible. We want to share that with you. Starting tomorrow, we will be posting KC match by match, while hosting our annual Live Discussion while the show takes place. It is always a great time, and we want to invite everyone to come check it out.

To help those who don't regularly follow WZCW, I asked Milenko(yes that Milenko lol) to write a brief rundown of each match that is taking place on the show.

Mikey Stormrage(c) vs. Justin Cooper(World Heavyweight Championship)​

Justin Cooper is man who has been through it all during his tenure in WZCW. Starting out as one of the most hated men in the company he became what was then known as the Elite X Championship by beating the forgotten Mick Overlast at Apocalypse 2012. The glory wasn't to last though as he lost the title to Sam Smith in his very first title defense. After floundering in the midcard he was sidelined for years with what some were calling a career ending knee injury. He proved them wrong by returning late 2015 and forming a tag team with a man who is undeniably the 2016 rookie of the year Mark Keaton. Together they beat the best this company has to offer and became 2 time tag team champions. In fact the only reason he isn't going to the Kingdom Come as one half of the Tag Team Champions is because he voluntarily gave up his belt in order to fight for the World Title in the main event at the biggest event in the wrestling world.

Mikey Stormrage is the man no one gave any chance of winning even getting a match for the World championship much less winning it but in 2016 he proved everyone wrong by beating Constaintine in a grueling ladder match at Gold Rush 2016 proving once and for all big men can climb ladders. Mikey showed his win wasn't a fluke by beating the man who took the title from him and taking his title back at Lethal Lottery VIII thereby punching his ticket for the main event of Kingdom Come as the defending World Heavyweight Champion. Both men want this win more than anything in the world but only one will walk out of Kingdom Come as World Champion.

Titus Avison(c) vs. Theron Daggershield - TLC(EurAsian Championship)​

Titus Avison won the Eurasion Title at Kingdom Come VII by defeating Johnny Scumm and has had a vice grip on the title ever since, doing anything it takes to remain the champion. Everyone management has put in front of him he knocked right back down on his way to holding the EurAvison Championship as he calls it for a full calendar year. He walks in the the very event he won it in a year before facing the biggest challenge of his reign in 'Blackjack' Theron Daggershield. This match won't be any old match though, this match will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs! Over the recent weeks Theron has shown a more vicious side of himself and he is going to need every bit of that in order to walk out of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome the new Eurasion Champion.

Noah Ryder(c) vs. Logan McAllister(Elite Openweight Championship)​

At Lethal Lottery Logan McAllister finally fufilled the promise he made to his son by winning the Elite Openweight Championship. Later that night though disaster struck in the form of the King for a Day Noah Ryder who chose to cash in his title shot during the Lottery match itself on a downed Elite Openweight Champion and taking the title he won only hours before. Since that Logan has been hell bent on making Ryder pay for what he did to him and his family while Ryder has had a hard time even remembering what happened. Can Logan come to the Big Easy and avenge the loss he suffered at the hands of Noah Ryder or will the champion be able to show that he deserves the title?

Vis Imperium(c) vs. The Salvific Knights(Tag Team Championship)​

Since losing his tag team partner and facing the prospecr of losing his championship Mark Keaton spent a week finding the perfect partner or be stripped of the titles. The man he found was someone no one expected, the very man he took the titles from in the first place Constaintine. The challengers are the ultimate underdogs. The team of Tony Mancini & Xaitlyn Sierpente joined forces for personal reasons but were still able to win a #1 Contenders match to pave their way to the Big Event. No one thinks the challengers have any chance at walking out with the Tag Team titles but they would love nothing more than to prove every single person who says they can't do it wrong. Can they do what most every thinks is impossible? Be sure to watch Kingdom Come VIII to find out.

Tyrone Blades vs. Garth Black #1 Contender​

The Hollow Ones have been running rough shod over WZCW since their arrival a few months ago while Garth Black as been screaming conspiracy in the loss of the World Championship to Mikey Stormrage. Some even say Garth Black is a secret member of The Hollow Ones though that is something he vehemently denies. What no one can deny is the fact that both men want to become World Champion and at Kingdom Come they face each other for the opportunity to fight the World Champion at some point after after Kingdom Come.

Abel Hunnicutt vs. Austin Reynolds - No DQ​

At one point these two men were teammates in Vis Imperium but when Reynolds hit a rough patch Constantine had Abel Hunnicutt take him out in an emphatic statement that only the best can be a member of Vis Imperium. Austin Reynolds want revenge on the man that left him a broken mess while Abel wants to finish the job he started at the behest of the leader of Vis Imperium. No normal match will be able to contain these men so WZCW management did the only thing they could and made this match No Disqualification. Will anyone walk away from this match?

Matt Tastic vs. Flex Mussel​

Matt Tastic is the newest member of the WZCW Hall of Fame while Flex Mussel has proven in the past he can retire members of the HoF. Both men have been through wars in the middle of a WZCW ring but Flex has found a new found mean streak since starting a new training regimen with his grandfather. Can the face of WZCW beat the man who retired Hall of Famer 'Showtime' David Cougar or will history repeat itself at the Granddaddy of them all for Flex Mussel?

Eve Taylor vs. Celeste Crimson​

Eve Taylor is the most decorated woman in WZCW history having won the Eurasion Championship and being the longest reigning Elite Openweight champion in history but that isn't enough for the Supermodel turned proffesional wrestler. In order to truly cement her legacy she passed up a #1 Contenders match for the World Championship and instead issued a challenge to the most dominant woman in WZCW history, Celeste Crimson. Since leaving wrestling she has enjoyed being the wife of former World Champion Steven Holmes and mother to their children but she has accepted Eve's challenge. Can Eve Taylor cement her legacy as the most dominant woman in the history of WZCW or will Celeste show Taylor why people are still talking about her years after she hung up the boots?

Battle Royal​

Everyone wants a chance to showcase their talent at Kingdom Come and this year is no exception. Everyone not already occupied has is entered in this Battle Royal. Phoenix, Xander LeBelle, Batti Otaku, Kagura Joheki, Vee A.D.Z. and newcomer Wren are all in this match and the winner will become the #1 contender to either the Elite Openweight or Eurasian Championship. There may be a surprise entrant or 2 so be sure to tune in to see who walks out of this match the winner and new #1 contender to either of WZCW's midcard titles.
