WZCW Kingdom Come V and WrestleZone Weekend with KB

I knew it was something like that. That's the kind of story I can get behind. Their All or Nothing match was just a tag team match and they were just another tag team. The promos alone tonight did more for them that everything at All or Nothing did.

At the risk of rustling some feathers, I think it's just that FalKon is a better fed-head than Numbers was. I'm not sure what it is that he does differently, but everything flows much nicer with him around, I feel like it's much easier to communicate with staff now than it was under Numbers, and I think the general atmosphere is more conducive for creativity.

All of creative and the people who helped creative with the weekend deserve big props for this, but you gotta give FalK a lot of credit for assembling the team and managing everything very gracefully.

I can understand some people not getting into Barbosa vs Celeste. It's a highly puro inspired match, because that's what I'm watching lately. I also felt it was a good gimmick decision because they are both characters with MMA backgrounds - also a reason why I went with the ref stoppage finish.

Was the video really that great? I felt it came off slightly tacky because at the end, it's just pictures with bullet points and a highlight reel. Not to mention I couldn't get a better animation for the pics.

Which makes sense; the problem I could see is that this isn't nearly about the scenes you need on the big screen. To a lot of people, I could see the recaps pushing the post count to this show well to 18 or 19.
Personally, I felt short bullet points like TNA does was a good idea.
And God bless Killjoy, but I think he would go postal if he had to video montages for every match.
I had the option of making one for the WarGames match. I was behind because of the main event video which was already driving me mad due to lack of animations and sorting through 6 videos. It was gonna have sound bites but I was just too tired to sort videos for audio too.

I'm pretty happy with a C+ for my match, considering I haven't written a match in over a year.

Nice of you to do a review KB, cheers.

I actually reference the Regal theme in my RP for the match.

Good on ya kb for providing the review. Good work as always.

To be honest, this doesn't bother me. Why I took it on I don't know. I became a dad a few weeks before I quit so I definitely didn't have the fed as a priority.

Great review KB but while you have a point about War Games, it would never ever go last.

I was most upset that the Mayhem match did not start the show so Ace Stevens could come out to his old Springsteen theme straight after the singing of America the Beautiful.

As for my match, I can agree with KB about there being perhaps a few too many elbows thrown by Barbosa (maybe all it needed was a replacing the word "elbow" with something else in the way that in most other matches you don't have "punch" repeated all the time) but as I said in the LD, I loved the finish. Celeste gets ridiculously close to winning (Ech was far closer than a 6-1 vote IMO; indeed, I had no expectation of winning coming into the show) only for Barbosa's Angle/Shamrock freak out to just barely get him over the line.

Glad my character drew KB in the most. I just wish my schedule would have allowed me to write up an actual match instead of just the HoF segment. Cheers KB, much appreciated.
