I don't think their is anything to vote for other than the Benoit stoy. I think that if I had to choose a wrestler who I wouldn't expect to kill his family it would be Benoit. Any interview I've read he appeared to be a decent bloke. Then again it appears as though he didn't have all his marbles at the time. It's a shame that he will be wrestlings leper from now on.

There should only be on choice in this category, and that's Benoit. It's just a shame that the WWE, who is partially responsible for what happened, to turn their back on this guy and pretend he never existed.

It's fine, because everything has a way of setting itself right. Benoit's death has brought about a much needed investigation into the background of the major wrestling promotions. Congress is going to come down hard on everyone wants the truth about the steroid situation is known.

Benoit may be black listed by the WWE, but in the end, he'll get the big fuck you when Congress slaps the Hammer of Justice on them.

Unfortunately, there is no story that can top the Benoit tragedy. It touched too many people and was a huge topic for main stream news media, not just the wrestling community.

The Chris Benoit story, obviously. Nobody saw this coming even if it hit them in the face, a sad story to say the least. This will go down as one of the most tragic moments in wrestling history and tarnished Chris Benoit's legacy, leaving him to be forgotten as a great in-ring technician and would-be legend.

What can I say, it has to be the Chris Benoit Murder-Suicide. This was perhaps the worst thing that has ever happened to professional wrestling. What an unfathomable tragedy that no one saw coming.

I honestly don't see how anyone could vote for anything other than Chris Benoit. We never could have seen that coming and it opened everyones eyes into the real toll this business takes on these guys. I don't think WWE should pretend that he never existed, but I guess they are doing so it doesn't look like they are glorifying a murderer.

Every major media outlet picked up on the story and now Congress is going to investigate the wrestling business. This is easily the biggest story of the year and obviously the most tragic.
