If you could create a fantasy PPV which pits the stars of the WWF Attitude Era against the stars of the WWF Golden Era, what matches would you book? Also lets say this fantasy PPV is Wrestlemania. This way if anybody has 15, 14, 12 or however many matches, nobody can come in & say "that many matches on a PPV is unrealistic" or some crap like that. And I know some guys like Bret Hart, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels were part of both eras, so when the poster makes his card, he can choose whichever era those three & anybody else who was a part of both eras, represent. But if you decide to have...say Bret represent the Golden Era then you have to put him up against a guy from the Attitude Era and vice versa.
Premilinary Card
Bad News Brown vs. Steve Blackman
Judo vs. Karate
Winner: Bad News Brown
Adrian Adonis vs. Goldust
Battle of the homosexuals
Winner: Goldust
Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Vader
Battle of the super heavyweights
Winner: Vader
Ted Dibiase vs. Jeff Jarrett
Couldn't really think of anybody else for Ted but they are both flashy. Ted with his money and Jeff with his singing gimmick & attire
Winner: Jeff Jarrett
Ken Patera vs. Mark Henry
Worlds Strongest Man vs. Worlds Strongest Man
Winner: Ken Patera
Lex Luger vs. British Bulldog
Another battle of the powerhouses
Winner: Lex Luger
Main Card
Show Opener: Owen Hart vs. Chris Jericho
Two graduates of the Hart Dungeon and boy would this be an awesome opener
Winner: Owen Hart
Mr. Perfect vs. Chris Benoit
What a technical masterpiece this would be
Winner: Chris Benoit
Demolition vs. New Age Outlaws
Didn't have anybody else for the NAO
Winners: Demolition
Madusa vs. Lita
Sable wasn't a good wrestler, so didn't wanna go with her and Trish became Womens Champion just as the Attitude Era was about to end, so she wasn't a fully good wrestler by the time it ended, so I decided to go with Lita
Winner: Madusa
Jake Roberts vs. Kane
The Snake vs. The Monster
Winner: Kane
Roddy Piper vs. Ken Shamrock
Didn't have anybody else for Piper but he spent most of his WWF career as a mid-carder anyway, so doesn't really matter if he's going up against another mid-carder. This one could come as a result of Piper humiliating Shamrock somehow on The Piper's Pit and we all know Shamrock doesn't take too kindly to humiliation. Piper takes this one by cheating
Winner: Roddy Piper
The Steiners vs. APA
Battle of the powerhouse tag teams
Winners: The Steiners
Jimmy Snuka vs. Mankind in a Steel Cage match
We all know the story about how Snuka's Splash off the cage inspired Foley to become a wrestler, so that's the story behind this one. Snuka takes this one after a Snuka Splash off the cage onto Mankind
Winner: Jimmy Snuka
Ultimate Warrior vs. The Undertaker
Undertaker represents the Attitude Era here. Dunno why this never happened on PPV but it would've been cool if it did and unlike some of Taker's WM opponents, people could actually believe Warrior might break the streak considering the push he got but of course Taker ends up retaining the streak.
Winner: The Undertaker
Andre The Giant vs. Big Show
No explainations needed for this one
Winner: Big Show
Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle in a Submission match
Bret represents the Golden Era. Could you say "showstealer"?
Winner: Kurt Angle
Ric Flair vs. The Rock
Think about the promos these two could cut on each other in the build up to this match
Winner: The Rock
Ricky Steamboat vs. Shawn Michaels
Or maybe this one steals the show
Winner: Ricky Steamboat
Edge & Christian vs. The Nasty Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Legion Of Doom vs. The Hardy Boyz in a TLC match
Was gonna originally have Dudleyz vs. LOD one on one but then I got to thinking and you really couldn't have an awesome TLC match without the Dudleyz, so I added both LOD & Dudleyz to the match. And as for the Nastys, well if you've seen their matches in WCW, they can go hardcore with the best of em
Winners: Edge & Christian
"Macho Man" Randy Savage (w/ Elizabeth) vs. Triple H (w/ Stephanie McMahon)
I've always thought these two as heels were alike somehow but I don't how to explain it also the valets at ringside then possibly having a catfight in this would make this more interesting
Winner: "Macho Man" Randy Savage
Hulk Hogan vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Bet you didn't see this coming? It's only right to have and end it on the man who revolutionized the Golden Era against the man who revolutionized the Attitude Era
Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin
