WWE's Big Summer Storyline Angle: CM Punk VS Paul Heyman?

I think if they did a Cm Punk vs Paul Heyman Storyline it could be really cool. Cm Punk calls himself (The Best in The World) In the storyline Pauly Heyman would say Im the man that made you the best in the world Im the first person who saw something in you and guided you to been the best. Or something like that I think the Promo's would be Epic two brilliant people that know how to talk on the mic and don't shy away from what they want to say it would be like a smash mouth style Storyline. So your thoughts on a Pauly Heyman and Cm Punk Summer Storyline ?????

you'd need to have brock lesnar involved, paul heyman is terrific on the mike, but beyond that....... maybe if he was the new GM that would be different, i agree them trading blows on the mike would be killer, but i would need more then that to be interested.

I actually think that would be really cool!

Make Summerslam all about WWE vs Paul Heyman (Not even being sarcastic)

Think about it, Let superstars join forces with Heyman (Lauriniatus, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and for shits and grins lets just throw Kharma into this)

Have all of the people that join Heyman disgruntled about the way things are going in the WWE, this would be a perfect time to bring The Miz back into the equation

I like it, Heyman has the Star power and Charisma, Brock would be the Beast, itd be a good stable, and if you threw in two or three superstars such as Bryan, Ambrose or Ziggler in and give them a bit of a rub.

Lesnar vs. HHH is big enough to be carried without Heyman, he can just act as the mouthpiece for HHH V. Lesnar. However im afraid that this would take to much of the attention away from HHH.

Its a shame because the Big Summer fueds are where talent can really get exposure and get over see:
- Cena vs. Edge
- Nexus Angle
- Cena vs. Punk
- Orton vs. Christian

Its a shame that the marquee match of Summerslam is going to be for two part time wrestlers instead of getting new talent over before trotting out the part timers for wrestlemania season.

Can't see it unless Punk Fueds with Lesnar. The only reason Paul Heyman seems to be appearing at the moment is to build Brock's fueds as he is on limited Appearences. Hope i'm wrong but i just don't see Heyman being interested in a GM role either, he is there purely to build up Brock as Brock won't be there every week.

This sounds awesome but Brock would HAVE to be involved as the muscle and with Brock have such a limited amount of dates on his one year contract, it's impossible to do.

Remember when it was Johnny Vs Cm Punk?

That should have been Paul Heyman Vs Cm Punk.

Paul Heyman should have texted Kevin Nash.

If the E hired Paully back then, maybe Paul would have gotten Brock to sign a better deal with the WWE, with more appearances...We could have had Punk have the upper hand Until Brock returned.

They could have made something really big out of this....

I agree, this summer is the perfect chance to give Ziggler the big push for the WHC, hopefully he and Sheamus continue a feud into Summerslam where Ziggler can win.

Then not only HHH-Brock taking up a Main Event spot, but we all know John Cena will be in a feud that will be pushed more than the WWE title feud (Just like No Way Out how the 1000th episode of Cena-Big Show main evented over what was a really intresting Triple Threat)

Like a few people have said, the only reason I could see this happening is with a Lesnar-Punk feud, and with Brock's limited dates it is just not very likely.

Regardless, it would be completely awesome! Two geniuses on the mic, and the history they have together would only only add to it. I could see it going down as a grudge/ego thing, both Punk and Lesnar claiming to be at the top and Heyman, having to choose a side, would end up turning on Punk to support Brock.

I think it could be a really good storyline that revives punk. Maybe even at the end of it he turns heel and he joins with him. Imagine a lesnar, punk, and heyman stable.

I really thought they were gonna kick off the summer angle at NWO with Vince turning on Cena, Lesnar coming into attack him and joining forces with Big Show to have Lesnar, Vince, Johnny, Heyman and Show trying to take over the WWE from HHH/Cena. But since that did not happen I like the idea of Punk doing something with Heyman.

It would make for a nice little segment for about 40% of the audience but I don't know where it goes from there. Heyman is currently a supporting character who has no interest in the WWE Title and sure as hell has more going on in his life to act obsessed over some past relationship with Punk.

This is one of those ideas that sounds great on smark-paper but I don't see it having legs. I would much rather see Lesnar compete straight up with Punk for the title without Heyman. It would be very cool to see Punk humbled in fear over having to face Lesnar in the ring and it could really help establish Punk as a great champion.

If it happens it wont be at summerslam it would have to be after. Also it would be Punk vs Lesnar which i believe will happen later in the year?just my guess. Either ways theyre bound to end up in a wwe ring, on the mic and its goin to be special.

Since Triple H has snagged the Brock Summerslam match for himself I'm not sure how this would work, unless Heyman was actually getting more involved or they wanted to use him and Punk skyrocket the likes of Ambrose or the returning Matt Morgan.

I know people will laugh at the above names but if Triple H is wrestling Brock and Cena main eventing against someone, WWE could take a chance with a huge push on a new entry so to speak.

The angle is simple, Punk has claimed to be a "Heyman guy", so Heyman can be bitter over the fact Punk didn't use his leverage last summer to get Heyman back in and brings someone in to take Punk out.

Of course they could also do a bait and switch where Lesnar says he'll drop the law suits but not to fight Triple H, he wants to fight Punk and if he wins he takes the title with him due to his limited dates. However there's virtually no chance that will happen as Triple H will be fancying that win over Brock he never got last time.

If this happens, I think ECW could play a part. Both are from ECW and it was guys like punk in ECW. BTW, I know punk came from the crap ECW in WWE.
:banghead: Maybe Lesnar will get involved because he is another Heyman guy and Lesnar V Punk will be great.

Obviously this would be fantastic and I think they should have went this angle before they even explored Trips vs. Brock (which will still make a ton of money).

I think a Summer of Punk vs. Lesnar with Heyman as his mouthpiece would have been beyond entertaining. It would have been pure magic. These guys could have had us eating out of their hands for 2 months.

They could have easily had Cena still go over Lesnar. Have Lesnar get all pissy and leave. Have Heyman show up to speak for him, interrupting Punk or something. Have Heyman and Punk verbally spar for a couple of weeks while Punk is battling with Bryan and Kane on the side.

And then ... boom ... have Lesnar cost Punk the WWE Championship to Bryan (who they want to put the strap on anyways) setting up an epic SummerSlam confrontation between the two. Lesnar would have to show up and screw Punk and then totally DESTROY him afterwards. Violently.

Then for a month and a half have Heyman pimping his man while Punk fights back. A couple of Lesnar appearances on TV for build up, contract signing, etc.

This would have been pure gold and would have elevated Punk to unreal heights.
