WWE vs TNA ?

Mania23OffThaHook

Pre-Show Stalwart
so I read a thread the other day about wwe fans getting scared about tna's sucess. I try not to laugh at this one off but c'mon. i've watched a few tna shows and i'm not gonna lie... they were pretty good. but I dont think TNA will ever get close to the level that wwe's at. if tna is doing so good then why are they offering kurt angle and trish stratus and other wrestlers contracts immediately after they leave the wwe? lol and your arena catching on fire during a ppv doesnt help (note: they did finish the show). jeff jarrett is there champion a guy that was fighting chyna in good housekeeping matches at the peak of his wwe career. i'm not sayingthey have a bunch of hasbeens and lets face it they have way more quality matches than wwe. I guess what i'm trying to say is that I think its a joke people think tna will get to that level where they become wwe's top enemy. but who knows? maybe it would be a good thing. if tna did get really popular then maybe wwe would feel some pressure and start stepping it up and putting out great matches and awesome storylines. bottom line tho --- wwe's #1

tna is no joke, yeah they sign wwe has beens but theyr very talented poorly used has beens and its just for national exposure. tna has way better athletes too. tna will grow soon too.

With WWE Ratins droppin' and TNA Growin' Rapidly...... I think WWE should take TNA seriously..... And even if a company does sign ex WWE talent doesnt make them rejects now way..... Jus' look at WWE entire Roster at the moment...... There quite a few who we from WCW Or ECW...... A few years back there were more of them....... Believe i am a big fan of both companies so not takin' sides wat so eva...... I love TNA for its Wrestling...... WWE for its Story lines.....

TNA is good... and if they get better it will (hopefully) push Vinnie Mac into making WWe great again...(Like he did with the attitude era)... But i don't think that TNA can push the WWE like WCW did in the old days.

Why do we have yet another wwe vs tna thred.....?????

But yer its a gd point tna is growing all the time and wwe dose need to do something about the poor story lines....But i agree i dont think tna has the resourses to push the wwe sorry tna fans

It doesn't matter to me whether TNA overtakes WWE in the ratings war. I know for a fact that TNA's product is better than that of WWE's. Let's look at the great wrestlers in TNA: Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, Senshi, Alex Shelley, and I might as well just say that the entire X-Division is out of this world. How about the great wrestlers with WWE contracts: Benoit, Benjamin (misused), Haas (misused), RVD, and CM Punk. WWE's roster is so watered down and they actually have their watered down roster spread out amongst three shows. When you watch TNA, 4/5 of the matches are just amazing (some of those heavyweight competitors like Jarrett, Sting, etc. really suck though).

I like both companies, but TNA is better and I'm damn sure that they know that. Too bad their commentators are just downright annoying

According to all of TNA's ratings I have seen, they seem to be staying about the same. I dont think their ratings are growing and I doubt they will ever will be any real competition to the WWE. I wish they were because it would make WWE better like when they had the Mon night wars, but I have tried to watch TNA and I just cant get into it. Everyone that I know that has tried to watch it says the same thing, it just seems low quality. I watch WWE to be entertained though, not just for the wrestling. I have watched wrestling for 20+ years and I think wrestling is supposed to be more than just matches, there should be good storylines and interviews 2. I guess TNA would be ok if you just watched it to watch matches and thats it.

TNA just sucks. some of those matches are extremely boring and, when i watched just one show, the only impact taping i saw, sucked. The abyss, i believe is just a knock off of the 90's Kane, the only guys i still give a crap for are Jeff Jarret, Christian, Sting, Nash, and thats about it. oh, Christy Hemme. but...other than that...there may be a couple good guys, Christopher Daniels, should leave TNA and go to WWE where he will make fat dolla' and be in way better matches than he's in today. i see it, Intercontinental Champion, The Fallen Angel.

I love TNA, I don't care much for storylines, especially the ones the WWE is somehow managing to sh*t out these days and it's all about extreme, risk-taking, technical wrestling for me. I'm still a fan of WWE, but if I'm honest I'm only sticking around for 2 things: Randy Orton, I'm a huge Orton fan and a bit sad, and the fact that I feel indebted to the WWE for all the great moments and matches in the Attitude era. WWF forever.

TNA is just ok to me.. they need better writers and not everyone has to be spinning and flipping and flying... And yeah their commentators suck ass

I think the thing a lot of people are missing when they tune in to TNA the first time is star power. You see, I thought the same thing too. I tuned in to TNA to see what the fuss was about. I recognized no one. I wasn't excited about any of the matches because I had no idea who was in them. So, I quit watching for the longest time.

Then it got to the point where I was just sick of WWE because they offered nothing exciting, nothing I cared about. I watched some TNA, and I started to learn names, then I started getting involved in the matches. Thats about the time it hit me that these guys were pro WRESTLERS, not sports entertainment SUPERSTARS!

I think, given time, TNA will be a contender against WWE. I think its already getting to that point now.

I dont think so.... not enough money and their announcers or commentators suck bad... But you are right if your more interested in that kind of match by all means enjoy TNA but if you want entertainment then WWE is the one for you

Be honest guys not sayin' any of you havent but dont judge TNA by an Impact Show....... Its 1 Hour long which is fuck all really...... Watch an entire TNA PPV because i swear down they wont fail to impress....... I know tha they lack in Storylines but thats the point in TNA....... They dont have someone come out at beginin' of show and talk for 20 mins or skits backstage........ Tha whole point of tha company is to tell a story in tha ring which they do really well......... I find WWE really borin' these days i dont know why either but im jus' really goin' off it....... Raws Okay sometimes but Smackdown might as well jus' get canceled....... Only reason i watch ECW is cause of CM Punk an Kelly Kelly lol...... Hopefully WWE will jus' stick to one brand in tha end i know they wont be enough room on one show....... But do what they done in tha old days use both Raw & SD....

TNA.....WTF....they cant touch the wwe, look who their champion is Jeff jarret who was a joke in the wwe, but the best thing for wwe to do is make HHH a heel again if their ratings are dropping or make dx heels????

I know. TNA is trying to be better. Just look what is going to happend at their pay- per-view! Compare to WWE Pay-per-view this Month is going down hill. Only thing is WWE needs to boost more than ever is to bring back the most of the greatest things ever to happend.

for now and at least 5 years to come tna wont be able to even touch wwe, but i watched impact last night for the first time, and what a joke samoa joe is, everyone is talkin about how great he is and how he can wrestle, he is overweight, has terrible mic skills and i havent seen him wrestle yet so i cant say anything on that.

wow your a dumass how is samoa joe a joke who gives a shit if he is overweight he is way better then cena and just watch him wrestle you will see howmuch better he is then cena

No doubt about. Samoe Joe is a solid wrestler, and he honestly isn't that bad on the mic compared to other guys. He seems to bring a lot more passion when he's on the mic and hits home with relevant points whenever he's in feuds. He makes good showings in his interview segments and is the future of pro-wrestling. So is TNA.

The big difference between TNA and the WWE is that TNA listens to their fans. How many times have you been frustrated by the WWE product? How many people have wanted to give Shelton Benjamin a push that he deserves? Did not want to see Trips with the title (although much of that sentiment has changed), or feel that guys like Chris Benoit, Booker T, and Chris Jericho didn't get the proper treatment (before). I believe that WWE fans get more frustrated with the WWE product far more than TNA fans get frustrated with the TNA product.

How is it that TNA is turning so-called WWE rejects into solid main event players? Attention and proper treatment. TNA recognizes talent and knows how to use their roster. They actually have a tag team divison and utilize their X Division (Cruiserweight) wrestlers.

I was skeptical about TNA at first because I was a loyal WWE fan for many years and I still am. I believe a lot of people dismiss the TNA product simply because the WWE is bigger and has more exposure (which does not necessarily mean it's better). So what if TNA takes WWE-rejects? They use them correctly. Give the product an unbiased, open-minded chance. It's close-minded judgments without much merit that seem to be a pattern among anti-TNA fans.

I respect the critiques that may say TNA does not have good storyline development and the matches a lot of the times are spotfests. It's a valid opinion as opposed to BS uneducated statements about TNA. As for me, I find TNA entertaining and exciting and a good new alternative. You can bash TNA, but give it an open-minded chance first, and actually have some substance to the argument before bashing the product.

I love the WWE, but TNA is slowly but surely getting better and better.

Agreed. TNA is second rate right now. TNA doesn't have the time to make good matches and if you want good WWE matches, check out any HBK vs Angle match. Raw and Smackdown have good stuff too sometimes. But overall from matches and storylines, TNA is just a joke.

I saw one of his matches, boring and slow. In my book him and cena are cut from the same cloth.
