Heck, even us Moderators can be wrong every once in awhile.Well, me at least anyway.
In a thread dedicated to the when and how HHH would turn heel, I attempted to end that logic because I believed that there was no way HHH could successfully turn heel. After all, the man who he was at odds with stuck by him, and even dropped his accusations towards HHH. However, a comment from Jerry Lawler from Raw sprung to mind. In a bit of possible forshadowing, Lawler responded to a comment from Cole saying that HHH had a large beef with Truth and Miz with this:
HHH doesn't just have a beef with Miz and Truth. He has a beef with alot of people.
Who's to say that his
biggest beef isn't still with CM Punk? Who started the entire issue over HHH sucking as a COO? Who's to say, even though Punk went about it the right way, that HHH doesn't blame Punk for losing his job? It's entirely plausible once Ive given it some thought. HHH has a way to spin things as a heel better then
anyoneIve ever seen, and almost make himself seem to right. I could imagine HHH turning on Punk and blaming him the following night costing him his job as COO. It could, in theory, kick off a huge feud with Punk that barely got started before.
Miz and Truth are another story. Obviously, HHH has a beef with them as well, a large one. He attacked them at Hell in A Cell, and fired them the next night on Raw. So, HHH has a beef with all three men in the ring. But who does he have the larger one with?
On one hand, there's Miz and Truth. They were the responsible parties for the walkout that lead to HHH being removed as COO. Their destruction at HIAC in their tag team match and then in the main event lead to the lack of people beking safety. However, does the cart come before the horse here? Punk was the first who was outspoken about HHH as COO, and even battled him at NOC in a NO-DQ match. Who's to say that Punk fighting the COO didnt set the catalyst for the "out of control" enviroment on Raw in the first place? It's a plausible argument heel HHH could argue, and Im leaning toward that happening now. HHH will turn on Punk during the match, not helping Miz and Truth, but simply getting "vengeance" on CM Punk.
LSN's Prediction: HHH turns heel and turns on CM Punk, allowing Miz and Truth to pick up the victory.
