WWE TLC: WWE Tag Team Championship - The Miz & Damien Mizdow (c) VS The Usos

YOU WILL RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!!!!
The Usos scored a win in a tag team turmoil bout last night in order to become #1 contenders and will face Miz & Mizdow at TLC.

The tag team picture has lost a lot of steam over the past few months and, personally, the stunt double thing is starting to get a little stale. IF the point was to eventually establish Sandow's popularity by pairing him with The Miz in a situation in which the "stunt double" outshines the star, then mission accomplished. Sandow's pretty over and I'd like to see him turn on Miz, have a brief feud, and maybe move onto something else. If the intention was to just stick Sandow somewhere, then I personally think the gimmick is gonna die a slow death that's gonna drag on.

I'd like to see The Usos pick up the win and to see WWE get the tag team picture back on track for WrestleMania season.

Sandow's pretty over and I'd like to see him turn on Miz, have a brief feud, and maybe move onto something else.

Agreed, and even while it's nice to see Sandow get PPV exposure, it seems the pairing has run it's course and the monthly special is often a good spot to set a new direction for people.

Of course, while it would be nice to see Miz & Mizdow split before imitation becomes the most sincere form of boredom, their resulting loss would presumably mean another title reign for the Usos', which leaves me cold.

Then again, that it doesn't really matter who the tag champs are is a clear indication of the dismal condition of the division. How ironic is it that the thrust of this match-up would feature Team Miz, with a title change taking the back seat?

Oh well, maybe there can be a non-conclusive finish to the match, keeping the belts on Team Miz even as their partnership fractures to pieces.....that would be more interesting, imo.

I was disappointed Cesaro and Kidd didn't get the win to face the champs, they could actually afford a loss to Miz and Mizdow.

Meanwhile, you got the Usos, one of the most dominant tag teams in recent years back in the title picture. If they lose, what's next for them? They've practically beat all the tag teams when they were champs for a good portion of this year.

A skipper. I think The Usos run their course when they were tag champions. They're decent, but they've been overexposed this years.

Damien Mizdow has never amused me. Why? Because he's copying The Miz and The Miz isn't interesting or relevant anymore.

I think they will keep Miz and Mizdow together until the Rumble....and the Usos really really don't need another title run at this time.

I'd say New Day might be in for a run after they are done with the Dusts. Whilst the Mizs will have a slow burn break-up and cause the Tag division to get even more crap...

Honestly, I really wanted Adam Rose and the Bunny to win that match yesterday...I really think a match between them and the Miz and Mizdow team would have been entertaining and setup for one of the two to break-up....
Guess WWE wanted to keep them in seperate programs more than anything...

The Usos again?!?!

Don't get me wrong the Usos are great in the ring but they're bland as shit. What do they have that sticks out besides being the offspring of Rikishi?

It'll probably be a perfectly good match in that it will be entertaining but in terms of story there's not really anything.

This match brings up the age old question of "who else do you have?" The Usos basically have to be in this as the only other option would be Los Matadores, who are just kind of there at this point. The Usos are fine for a one off challenger but they've had their big run with the belts this year. Miz/Mizdow retain, setting up their match, likely at Elimination Chamber.

As for Mizdow, his character shows a lot of effort, but it goes against the entire idea of being intellectual. Now he's just hurting himself for the sake of copying Miz, which isn't even what a stunt double does. He's popular because of how hard he's been working and how well he pulls it off, but after this run is over, he's right back to being the same Damien Sandow he was before.

I love the fact that they got Naomi involved. Wwe could've easily just had Miz face Jey one week, the next Mizdow vs Jimmy and the TLC home show a 8-man with New day and Dust bros. Atleast they are trying to do something with this feud. Jimmy being angry at the Miz for talking to his wife adds a new side of the Usos that we haven't really seen from either one. (Have to admit though Jimmy being angry at the Miz felt like a heel thing(something Tyson kidd would do), especially when Miz was only trying to help her with her second career, besides Miz wife is arguably hotter. Though Naomi definetely has the better body of the two)
Their match at TLC is going to be what you would normally get from the Usos, with The Miz coming in at the end to win and steal Mizdow's spotlight. Nothing special, unless wwe decides to do something with Naomi and The Miz.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing The Miz and Mizdow retain at TLC. It might be a lot going on at once, but here's a thought: They retain at TLC against The Uso's due to Mizdow landing the pinfall to once again outshine The Miz. The Miz's feud with Jimmy continues as the WWE keeps pushing the Naomi angle, and at the same time, they begin to stir things up between Miz and Mizdow now. Mizdow keeps outshining The Miz, and at the Rumble or Elimination Chamber, Miz and Mizdow go up against each other in a 1 v 1 match for the Tag Team titles (would be a much needed change of pace in the PPV Tag Team Championship match) after The Miz has decided that he'd like to acquire the services of a new stunt double. Jimmy interferes in the match in one way or another, leading to Mizdow winning the championships, and from there, Mizdow begins looking for a new tag partner. In doing so, the WWE not only keeps the Jimmy/Naomi/Miz thing going, but also keeps Mizdow's relevance after his stint with The Miz.

Not asking for you to like this idea, but it's an idea. There's not much to work with in the Tag Team division these days, and for The Uso's, it would be a change of scenery, rather than just winning, retaining, winning, retaining, and winning the Tag Team championship over and over again. It would also create a new tag team with Mizdow and whoever he chooses as The Miz's replacement, so they're not necessarily losing anything by splitting them up. Like I said, just a thought.

I think Damien Mizdow is a polarising character at this point. Or maybe it is just me that is enjoying how he is playing his part. Coming out with two fake Championship belts is hilarious in my eyes. I reckon, the reason he has been paired with The Miz is to make people care about him again. For too long, he didn't deliver on his potential. He went stale and now the WWE has put him with someone who is going to get a lot of heat and, by extension, Mizdow is going to get over.

I genuinely think that Naomi will cost The Miz the Championships at TLC, Mizdow will make an arse of making the save because he's copying The Miz, and this kick starts the feud between Miz and Mizdow. Eventually Mizdow comes out on top and moves on to bigger and better things. Team Mizdow has served it's purpose now. Like Jack Hammer, I am determined to see the Tag Team division get a decent showing at WrestleMania and Mizdow is not the answer. I think The Uso's take the win here and move on to feud with Gold and Stardust later in the year.

I think the Uso's win...*sigh* again. I like the Uso's enough, but their reign as Tag Team champions was boring primarily because they only had one credible heel team to fight. But I dont think they will face the dust brothers. I think they will be feed to Ascension. The Uso's have barely registered in the past few months and they are the only team who would bring any credibility to Ascension, while they can also afford a loss.

As for Mizdow, the funny thing is that a face turn would justify the awful angles he has been in through 2014. He began losing, lost his confidence and had a mental breakdown, adopting all sorts of moronic gimmicks. At one point, I remember he even did that worked shoot where he seemed genuinely distressed. He got paired up with Miz, who did give him a boost in confidence, which only increased when the fans turned on him. Remember that bit where Mizdow called the Miz his best friend and nearly started crying? That sounded like a dude who is finally overcoming depression. But then the Miz got jealous and started to treat Mizdow poorly, so Mizdow starts becoming more independent and restores his pride. I hope WWE treats this storyline well as I would like to see it work out.

The Usos win the titles! they feud with miz and mizdow for a rematch at royal rumble. they retain and the ascesion makes their debut setting up a program for usos and the ascesion in a tag team ladder match!

Miz/Mizdow is so damn entertaining. I love this.

I think they'll milk Miz/Mizdow for a while and possibly not have the turn until Wrestlemania. Probably start the tease with Mizdow accidentally or "accidentally" eliminating Miz from the Rumble.

Keep the straps on Miz. I love him as a heel. And Mizdow as a face. Let Sandow get a decent push for a bit.

It would not surprise me at all if this goes on first. Even though I personally can't stand them, The Usos will give the fans a chance to get excited for the rest of the show while Mizdow gets to continue his hilarious miming of Miz. I can't wait to see Mizdow miming Miz as Miz bragging about winning after they retain the belts in this match, I bet it will be far more entertaining than the match itself. There's no way The Usos are getting the belts back. They shouldn't have held them in the first place. Miz and Mizdow retain then move on to their next challengers.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Miz & Mizdow will retain the Tag Team Championship.

They're building to something, aren't they? I couldn't figure what the business was with Miz refusing to tag out last night; I kept waiting for the split between these guys to come when Sandow (sorry, I can't call him Mizdow) got disgusted with Miz' selfishness and belted him, breaking up the team and leading to the inevitable feud between these two. That it never came does nothing to convince me it won't happen soon enough.

At the same time, although I'm getting a bit tired of Sandow making an ass of himself by imitating Miz' in-ring moves, it was fun to see Sandow playing to the crowd, getting them into his antics.

This is good stuff because even with all Miz' personality, he's best when playing off someone else.....just delivering speeches by his lonesome has never been his strength.

The point is, if this whole program elevates Sandow to the point he can make more of an impact as a solo than during his first go-around, it can only be a good thing. I enjoyed his "Intellectual Savior" bit and wonder how Creative might make use of him this time.
