WWE Tag teams

for the 1st time in years im interested in the tag team championships.
wwe has so many great tag teams in the wwe. and they really have got my attention lately. wwe actually cares about tag teaming again!
wwe has been really put down years back about that tag teaming is dead there.
but wwe 2013 is looking great with tag teams. am i the only one who has notice the awesomeness in the tag teams recently?
whats your thoughts on wwe giving tag teams pushes and even big feuds?

I completely agree. I think the tag-team division is at its strongest for a long time. There is serious quality, depth and some teams with an actual gimmick/relationship or purpose rather than two random guys. The Shield, Uso's, Real Americans, Prime Time Players, Tons of Funk, 3MB. Fair enough not one of these teams are legendary and it is hardly the early 2000's for the tag-division but this is still a very impressive group of teams that are producing great matches. I think we can thank Triple H for this.

It's certainly an improvement over the "Throw two random singles guys together and put the belts on them" method that was prevalent for a while. The division has proper defined teams right now and good depth, the problem is at the top end, Rollins & Reigns are very good but they need a couple of top teams to feud with in the way Edge & Christian, The Dudley's and Hardyz had each other and the other 4 or 5 teams provided the support.

While I am in full agreement that there has been an improvement, they need to start building secondary feuds. The tag division is a mirror of the Divas right now. It's a straight line of challengers. I am all for the title being the focal point, but the beauty of the glory days of tag team wrestling was that while the end goal was the titles, there were other feuds still going on.

I have always loved tag-team wrestling. The Road Warriors, the British Bulldogs, the Killer Bees, the Machines,Beefcake and Valentine, the Midnight and RocknRoll Express, the Freebirds,Demolition, the Steiners, and I can go forever. Plus it is easier to push 4 guys in a storyline than it is to push 2. Just gotta find the right mix of guys.

The only thing I don't like about the tag-team div is the shield the dont wrestle anybody the belts are never on the line so it like there is no tag champs and all so there only using the same 2 teams . The wwe has 6hrs of tv time and Hour of Internet shit but yet the tag titles are never on the line and the shield never wrestle anybody but Bryan

They just defended the titles at Night Of Champions and I'm pretty sure they wrestled the Usos on Raw.

On topic.
I'd like to see Gabriel and Kidd back together as a team.
The tag division isn't too bad but it could still be better. Hopefully we see another team or two come in.

There's 6 teams. None are that impressive and 2 more teams wouldn't hurt but it's looking a lot better recently. Getting in at least 1 and even 2 tag team matches on raw and smackdown would really help bring interest back and letting them cut promos will go a long way. You've got the dominating shield, then usos and ptp who win but always come short then real Americans who win some but chase for the most part until the shield drop the belts. The other teams can be plugged in and take a few wins and occasionally challenge for the gold. There's some balance for a change. I know trading wins and losses isn't the best way to build anyone, singles competitor or tag team, but constant exposure is helping out a whole lot and in the end as long as we're talking about them that's what matters! Good time for the tag division

I don't think there's been any real improvement to be honest the whole division outside of The Shield isn't really protected to since Rollins and Reigns have had the belts they've not really been a part of the divisions, it's just kind of like when they remember to have them defend the belts. You look at the rest tag teams and with the exception of The Usos it's just random guys put together because they have really no idea what else to do with them. They don't give you a reason to emotionally invest in the matches, angles are almost non-existent and promo wise none of them have any direction. It's a sad state of affairs because tag team wrestling done right is absolutely fantastic, but it's not given the time to shine because they would rather chuck together guys in singles programs to build heat for singles matches.

Yes the tag teams are currently over quite well. But do you know how to actually really get them over? Give them some damn promo time. Whens the last time you saw a promo from Prime Time Players, Usos or even the Shield for a while.

Give Usos the mic, lets see what they can do. Titus O Neal is money on the mic, give him a chance. Thats how the teams of Dudleyz, Edge & Christian & the Hardyz got over, some actual promo/mic time would be nice.
