WWE Network Reaches Milestone

You can tell who the true WWE fans are.

The ones discrediting the Network numbers, and their falls in stock, and almost bragging about it, and saying that it proves that the WWE doesn't know what it is doing, are not true fans, because it sounds like some of you running down the figures WANT WWE to fail. You must want it to fail, because you take every bit of good news and try to disprove it.

So, what is your agenda? Line in the sand time. Either you are for WWE and what they are doing, or you are against it. If you are for it, buy the WWE Network and enjoy it, as it is fantastic value. Those who want WWE to fail can leave and make sure that their bum doesn't hit the door on the way out.

How is telling the truth wanting the WWE to fail. We're not talking abstract numbers there, these are cold hard facts. The WWE is a publicly traded company and they cannot put false information out there. In this case they didn't lie about it, but they didn't tell the whole story.

Yes the WWE reached the 1 million milestone, and kudo's to them for doing that, great. Even though they reached that milestone, they didn't tell the general public that out of that million, over 25% or 250,000 have cancelled the network. So in reality even though they got 1 million people worldwide to subscribe they haven't been able to keep them.

Now not everyone will have the same reason for cancelling. For some it might be they are just pissed off with the product, could be financial problems or anything. I really don't think that Roman Reigns winning the Royal Rumble caused a quarter of a million people to tell the WWE to fuck off. But that many people did.

It is also a fact that cancellation page crashed after the Rumble, so there was enough people out there that didn't like what they saw, and are well within their rights to say screw it, not paying for this anymore.

Truth be told though if RAW averages what over 3 million people a week watching it, you have to ask yourself this. Why aren't the numbers for the network higher? If the flagship show pulls in that many viewers, then why aren't they ordering the network? By rights the WWE numbers for network subscriptions should be a few million by now. There is something wrong somewhere and it's not the fans problem, it's the WWE's to figure out what's going on.

Wait two or three years. If they still haven't reached a million by then, then panic stations, but it is premature to dance on the Network's grave, like you are itching to do.

Out of interest, do you have the Network? What do you think of it as a whole?

My personal opinion, why not keep Network, but just don't watch the PPV. $9.99 for even the archival footage and every PPV ever is more than worth the price alone, let alone the current PPVs. Why cut off your nose to spite your face?

I firmly hate what WWE has done booking wise for the better part of a decade (outside of the brilliant WM30 card and Heyman carrying their TV shows). That being said anyone who complains about the WWE Network is either delusional or as stated by Henderson got some kind of rooting interest in WWE/The network failing.

The fact that not only can I access any PPV in main stream pro wrestling history but they also make sure to load it up with interesting content such as 24/7, Rivals, Monday Night Wars, etc. For 120 dollars a year it's worth it alone for me to own the Backlog of all RAW episodes that are on there and all my favorite PPVs from the 80s, 90s, and today.
