WWE Money in the Bank: Big E VS Rusev

This match was announced last night on Smackdown. They had a good short match at Payback but I can't say I'm looking forward to this as I would've preferred that both men move on from each other. I wanted to see Big E in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and Rusev taking on a much bigger threat like Big Show or Mark Henry. I think they should've made this a Flag Match just to add something different to the rematch and make it a little more interesting to watch. The rise of Rusev continues this Sunday. RUSEV UDREA! RUSEV MACHKA!

I think I'll enjoy the Divas' match more than this match. This match is bad and both of these gimmicks are bad.

Nobody cares about Alexander Rusev, and Big E's push is long over, just as I predicted months ago. These two are both worthless. They should have been in the mass releases a few weeks ago, not competing on Pay-Per-Views.

Speak for yourself. It'll be far more entertaining than more job squad matches.

I enjoyed their match at Payback far more than I expected. I touched upon it a while back about having Big E as some sort of American hero. Might get some cheap patriotic pops, but they're pops nevertheless. Something he's not received much of since his flat IC title run. I found his promo on the last Raw a little bizarre, but out of character the guy is hilarious, so I hope they let him be himself a little more and let him go a little more crazy on the mic.

I don't mind Rusev as a wrestler or as a character, infact I like him quite a lot. But I'm extremely bored of his booking right now. Not interested in squash matches really, and they're still happening at least once a week. Hope they give these guys some time together, they made it work at Payback. But looking into the future, I can only worry that eventually he's just going to become Cena fodder, so it's hard to really get too invested into Rusev for me. I hope I'm wrong though.

I assume Rusev will go over again. Big E will get some strong spots, but ultimately Rusev will CRUSH. :)

I'm not interested in this AT ALL. I don't like Big E and I hate Rusev. It will probably be the worst match of the night. I just hope that they have this match earlier on in the evening to get it over with. Rusev will probably win to continue his push. Big E will more or less have my support, but only due to it being my supporting any opponent Rusev has. Once this starts I'll head to the pantry for a snack. I've lately been getting the new Wonka Randoms gummies. Or I might go for the Krabby Patties, haven't had those in a while. Oh, right. The match. Rusev wins and both move on to some other filler feuds I highly doubt I'll care about.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Rusev will defeat Big E.

I'm not really expecting much from this match what so ever, But with there being Two money in the Bank matches this year due to the injury of Daniel Bryan. It really did leave WWE with little else to offer the fans and with them needing to fill the card Big E vs Rusev is better then nothing at all. WWE could have tryed to make the match seem a little more appealing and possible made it a flag match, Which after weeks of Pro Russian Video packages would have made perfect sence. Either way I fully expect Rusev to pick up the win.

Agreed, especially since Rusev beat Big E so decisively last time they fought. I was surprised E wasn't allowed to come off looking stronger than he did.

Then again, Rusev is being pushed.....while the company seems to have soured on Big E; I figured they'd give him more of a chance to get over than they have.....but apparently not. This might be a case in which those big bodies Vince McMahon likes got Big E a brief look-in.....but nothing else about him commanded much attention from the higher-ups.

It might be an interesting match to watch, due to the size of the bodies involved. It would be nice to see them go at it for a longer period of time than their last match.....might be fun to see two behemoths breathing like plow horses from the extended effort.

Still, given the clear direction of their characters, I can't see Big E winning this.

I think this has potential to be a decent rematch. It hasn't been pushed as a major feud, but considering they're both powerhouse guys, Big E and Rusev are both great in the ring.

It won't be the best match on the night but if you approach it as a fan, and not a know-it-all-prick, it should be an entertaining 10 minutes.

Rusev wins, obviously.

I don't see why there's so much hate for these guys. I believe both men are entertaining in their own right and I'd rather have this then El Torito vs. Hornswoggle in a mini MITB whatthefuckever.

Rusev should make Big E tap. They've done this before and with how they're pushing Rusev, his momentum isn't going to slow down here. Will Rusev's fire go out like Koslov, Khali, and many other foreign monster heels have? Most likely. But it won't happen here. With the whole Russian angle they can milk this thing for another couple of months.

I really hope this would stop. This is doing nothing for Rusev, and is killing Big E, unless he is a bit more competitive in this match.

Doubt he will be.

It'll be far more entertaining than him squashing *insert Ryder, Cara, Woods here* every week, but I hope this can be some sort of catalyst to move Rusev onto bigger and better things. If they'd booked Big E stronger in the first place, this match would be better for both superstars. As I said before though, I enjoyed their Payback match a lot more than I expected to.

I have no idea what the future holds for Big E though. His IC title run was not a success, and it's a foregone conclusion that Rusev wins this.

I can't say that I particularly care about this match, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be bad. I wasn't expecting much from their first match and even though it was short, it was pretty damn physical while it lasted. It was a lot better than I think anyone was expecting and, what's more, the live crowd actually enjoyed the match. Seeing that their first bout at Payback was in smack in the middle of CM Punk country, that was the biggest surprise of the night.

As to this match, I think it'll go longer than last time and Big E will have a better showing for himself. When it's all said & done, however, I think the end result will be the same as at Payback with Rusev winning decisively.

I agree with the consensus .. Rusev wins

**bummer that Big E's lost his luster, as that seems to be a common trend with whoever wins the IC title as of late ... look at the man Big E won it from, Curtis Axel, who came in very hyped, a Paul Heyman guy then seemed to go downhill once he won the title

dunno what WWE sees in Rusev long term, but I agree with the posters who blame his booking, as it just doesn't capture the imagination and is very redundant

a couple weeks ago Rusev beat Ryder in a match for I believe was the 3rd time. And now Rusev is facing Big E at back to back PPV's.

Rusev is fortunate to have Lana on his side, as he'd be at danger to fade into obscurity
