Call me Quality
I just got finished watching a fancam of this event. It was billed as a Raw event, but half the bouts had SmackDown! talent involved. It was held a few months ago. It wasn't anything special. I'll run down the card with my thoughts, though.
It opened with a very jet lagged looking Mark Henry facing The Miz. I think it was for the US Title, but I'm not sure because I don't know Chinese. It wasn't much of a match and comparing how good Miz has looked lately this looked very out of place.
Next was a diva match which I promptly skipped so I could get Rey Mysterio v.s Chris Jericho the only real highlight of the show. It was a good back and forth match which was similar to their feud for 2 years ago. I wouldn't put up with those matches, I just got flashbacks with how the match went and developed. The interesting thing was the handshake the two actually had after the match especially after Jericho was able to take Mysterio's mask all the way off during the match. I think it had something to do with Jericho leaving the WWE soon and this was most likely one of the last times a SmackDown! talent like Rey was going to see him. Quality stuff.
Then I think it was a WWE Title match... only because Sheamus won cleanly over Orton. It really didn't look right. It was a simple match between the two. It wasn't much at all. It needed some outside brawling I think. However nobody left the ring during their matches due to the raised floor. It just felt really awkward when Sheamus won the way he did. All I got to say about this travesty.
The show someone how got worse, though. John Cena faced Big Show in the main event. It was pretty much just a dull ten minutes with annoying folks yelling for a Chokeslam every five seconds. You'd complain about it to if you heard it. Cena gets beat down pretty much the entire time only to come back and win after a couple of offense moves.
Overall, I am glad I watched this if only for another bout between Mysterio/Jericho. It's not something you should go out of your way to view unless you really like WWE.
