Thanks for trying to introduce me JR, it looks as though we are to be joined by the WWE Champion, The Miz.
The Miz struts to the ring, he stops at the bottom of the ramp to look around the arena before lifting the championship belt high above his head. He enters the ring, picking up a microphone from the steps.
The Miz:
One thing I noticed during my entrance was that I didnt get introduced.
So lets try that again shall we.
Miz leaves the ring and heads towards Justin Roberts sat at ringside.
Miz grabs Roberts by the scruff of his shirt and forces Roberts to introduce him.
Justin Roberts:
Er.. Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome your WWE Champion The Miz!
The Miz:
(getting back into the ring) Thats better! I mean, what do I have to do around here to get properly introduced? Be the WWE Champion? Oh Wait I already am!
Things are going to start changing around here, I am going to start getting some respect from you morons right to the guys in the locker room.
I am yours and their WWE Champion and I demand respect!
I garuntee that you are going to be seeing and hearing a lot more of me, believe me when I tell you that I am going to be the WWE Champion for a long, long time. And there is nobody in that locker room capble of taking it from me.
Because Im The Miz and I'm AWE

Jim Ross:
Rey Mysterio is crashing the Awesome Ones party.
Jerry Lawler:
I'm sure the awful one with have something to say about this.
The Miz:
How dare you Mysterio! How dare you interrupt me! Who the hell do you think you are!
Rey Mysterio:
Who do I think I am? I am the guy thats going to do, what you say cant be done I'm going to take the WWE title from me.
The Miz:
HaHa, Rey, Rey, Rey. Why dont you go back to selling your tacky masks to the kids that think youre a superhero. I really dont want to embarrass you infront of your fans.
Rey Mysterio:
That sounds like an excuse to me Miz, what are you scared. Youre not Awesome at all. Your AWFUL!
The Miz:
You think your little words are going to get into my head Rey, guess what, they arent! If you think your man enough to take this WWE title from me then ok. If you beat me tonight then you get a title shot. What dya say?
Rey Mysterio:
Youre on, get a referee out here.
Jim Ross:
A blockbuster start to SmackDown King, Miz vs. Mysterio!
Jerry Lawler:
Thats right JR and if Mysterio wins he faces Miz for the title, most likely at Over The Limit in three weeks time.
MATCH 1
Non-Title Match WWE Champion The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio.
The Miz delays the start of the match by pacing around the outside of the ring, as he pretends to stretch his leg on the steel steps Mysterio sneaks behind him, bases Mizs head on the ring apron and rolls him into the ring.
As the match progresses Mysterio takes more control, he whips Miz against the ropes and drop toe holds him sending the Miz leaning face first on the middle rope, Mysterio dials it up and connects with the 619.
After the contact Miz luckily is forced out of the ring, Mysterio follows and picks up him, Mysterio then gets back into the ring.
The Worlds Greatest Tag Team rush to the ring and jump up onto the ring apron. Mysterio turns to them as Miz lays still in the ring. Mysterio forces the pair off the apron as the referee orders them to leave.
Zack Ryder rushes through the crowd and slides into the ring, he kicks Mysterio in the stomach and hits the Rough Ryder, he grabs The Miz and pulls him over onto Mysterio, Ryder leaves the ring and hides by the commentary desk.
The referee turns around and counts the pin. ONE
TWO
THREE!
Justin Roberts:
Here is your winner the WWE Champion The Miz!
Ryder slides back into the ring, The Worlds Greatest Tag Team come rushing back to the ring and they, with Ryder, beat down on Mysterio.
Suddenly the lights in the arena go dim, music hits and SIN CARA walks through the curtain. The fans go wild as he unzips his coat and sprints to the ring, he bounces over the ropes, rolls over and grabs Charlie Haas in a hurricanrana, slinging Haas out of the ring, he runs towards the ropes and dropkicks Benjamin, he slides out the ring.
Ryder grabs The Miz from ringside and rushes backstage with the WWE Champion. Sin Cara again runs at the ropes and does a corkscrew over the top rope and onto Haas and Benjamin at ringside. He slides back into the ring and helps Mysterio back to his feet.
Mysterio lifts Sin Caras arm high as Haas and Benjamin head back up the ramp.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Jim Ross:
Welcome back folks, before the break we witnessed an assault on Rey Mysterio battling to face Miz for the WWE title which led to the debut of Sin Cara, who looks excellent King.
Jerry Lawler:
He does JR, its just a shame he had to debut under those circumstances. What is the relationship between The Miz, Zack Ryder and The Worlds Greatest Tag Team!
Jim Ross:
I have no idea but lets send it to the back where Matt Striker is with the WWE Champion.
---BACKSTAGE---
Matt Striker:
Thats right JR I am joined with The Miz and also with Zack Ryder.
Guys, what did we witness out there?
The Miz:
You witnessed me, The Miz, defeating Rey Mysterio to stop him from staking a claim to MY WWE Championship. Let that be a lesson to everyone thinking they can take the title. This title is going nowhere, except the waist of The Miz.
Matt Striker:
Zack, to you if I may, what is your relationship with The Miz?
Zack Ryder:
The Miz is my Bro! And Bros look out for each other.
Justin Roberts:
This contest is scheduled for one fall, already in the ring, from Calabria, Italy Santino Marella!
And his opponent, from Manchester, England Wade Barrett!
The bell rings and the match gets underway.
Marella offers his hand to Barrett who slaps it away. Marella looks at his hand in disgust before getting in the face of Barrett.
Barrett shoves Marella to the ground, Marella gets staright back up but is met with a Big Boot straight to his jaw. Marella collpses to the mat.
Barrett picks Marella up and hoists him onto his shoulder. He delivers the Wasteland and covers Marella. ONE

Justin Roberts:

Jim Ross:
Wade Barrett looks like a future WWE Champion, certainly has the strength and attitude to make it here in the WWE.
Im Back!
SmackDown General Manager, Eric Bischoff makes his way onto the stage.
Eric Bischoff:
Now earlier tonight Rey Mysterio missed out on the chance to be the Number 1 Contender for the WWE Championship, which means that, that distinction is still up for grabs so tonight we are going to have a 5 Man Gauntlet Match to determine who will face The Miz for the title at Over The Limit in three weeks time.
The combatants are The Game, Triple H! John Cena! Alberto Del Rio! John Morrison! And Cody Rhodes.
The last man standing will be the new Number One Contender!
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Jerry Lawler:
Well we learned before the break that a new number one contender will be determined tonight in a 5 Man Gauntlet Match. Two superstars will start the match and another will enter every time one gets eliminated, the last man will be crowned the winner, I cant wait JR.
Jim Ross:
I cant either King, but back to now and we are being joined at ringside by Mr. William Regal, Mr. Regal, to what do we owe this pleasure?
William Regal:
I'm just out here to watch the following match.
MATCH 3 FINLAY vs ZACK RYDER
Justin Roberts:
This contest is set for one fall, introducing first. From Belfast, Northern Ireland Finlay!
And his opponent, from Long Island, New York Zack Ryder!
Finlay looks towards and stares at Regal, sat ringside, as the bell rings for the start of the match.
As Finlay is distracted with Regal, Ryder hits Finlay in the kidneys, Finlay turns around in some discomfort and is met with a drop-kick, sending I'm crashing through the middle rope.
The referee starts the count as Ryder stays in the ring. Finlay gets back to his feet with the help of the announce desk and comes face to face with Regal, who smiles at him.
William Regal:
Maybe you should pay more attention to the match than you are too me sunshine.
Finlay rolls back into the ring, as he does so Ryder drops an elbow into the chest.
Finlay puts up some resistance but appears to be tired out as he slumps into the corner. Ryder sprints towards Finlay hitting him with his knee in the face. He drags Finlay into the centre of the ring and covers.

TWO
Finlay kicks out.
Ryder looks to finish the match as he forces Finlay back to his feet. Zack Ryder connects with the Zack Attack and covers Finlay. ONE

Justin Roberts:
Here is your winner Zack Ryder!
William Regal:
Well, after that hambles i shall leave you. thank you for having me gentlemen.
Regal walks around the ring and towards the ramp, Finlay starts to come around and the two stare blankly at each other.
---BACKSTAGE---
Eric Bischoff is in his office with Alberto Del Rio and his associate, Brodus Clay.
Eric Bischoff:
Listen Alberto, I dont like John Cena as much you do so it would make no difference to me should he get injured tonight, if you know what I mean!
Alberto Del Rio:
I know exactly what you mean, it is my destiny to be the WWE Champion and nobody, including that idiot Cena, is going to stand in my way. Brodus, lets go.
----BACKSTAGE----
Zack Ryder is walking backstage when he bumps into Daniel Bryan. Ryder doesnt make eye contact with Bryan, he just stares at the United States Championship over Bryans shoulder.
Justin Roberts:
The following Divas bout is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Miami, Florida Layla!
And her opponent, from Tampa, Florida Gail Kim.
They lock up in the middle of the ring, Gail swings under Laylas arm applying pressure, she forces her to the floor with an arm bar. Layla manages to lean her leg over the rope forcing Kim to break the hold.
Layla gets back into the match, forcing Kim into a corner and delivering some stiff forearm shots. Layla paces backwards before charging towards Kim.
Gail Kim gets her leg up and kicks Layla smack in the face. Layla falls backwards onto the mat. Kim Covers.

TWO
Layla kicks out. Kim keeps up the pressure with a suplex and then an elbow to the chest. Layla creeps back to here feet but is met with a dropkick. Kim picks Layla up from the mat and connects with her Eat Defeat finisher and covers ONE

The lights in the arena go dark, on the titantron a message is displayed.
Jim Ross:
What does that even mean King!
Gail Kim is left pondering the message as she leaves the ring.

The Miz is with Zack Ryder and the Tag Team Champions, Haas and Benjamin.
The Miz:
Bischoff has really screwed us with this gauntlet match. Who ever wins this match is going to need to learn pretty quick that I wont be giving up this championship belt so easily, as Rey Mysterio found out earlier, we are no match for anybody.
Remember, priority number one is keeping the WWE Championship around my waist.
Zack Ryder:
Woo Woo Woo, You Know It Bro.

Jim Ross:
We are back here on Friday Night SmackDown and in the ring is Chris Masters.
Masters is stood in the ring with a chair set up in front of him with a referee stood in the corner.
Chris Masters:
I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines so its time to make my own opportunities, so here we go, with the MasterLock Challenge.
Anyone in the back think they can break it then come give it a shot.
Masters pauses looking intently at the titantron.
SHATTERED DREAMS
The arena turns Gold as Goldust walks through the curtain to a welcoming reception from the crowd.
Goldust enters the ring.
Chris Masters:
Man, this place is full of freaks!
Okay weirdo, sit your ass down on the chair!
Goldust reluctantly sits down whilst keeping an eye on Masters.
Goldust raises his arms and Masters locks in the hold.
The referee gives his signal and removes the chair.
Masters shakes Goldust every which way and with real force.
He does this over and over until the referee raises Goldusts hand only for it to collapse straight away thus calling for the bell.
Masters tosses Goldust to the floor and has his hand raised in victory.

Matt Striker:
Please welcome my guest at this time Triple H
Triple H, what are your thoughts on a)The Miz, and b)tonights gauntlet match involving four other top superstars here on SmackDown.
Triple H:
My thoughts on The Miz are, he is an idiot and on the match, well thats simple, I'm going to win and show The Miz and the world how easy it is to take the WWE title from anybody when youre the Game!
Matt Striker:
Lets send it to the ring for tonights main event.
MAIN EVENT 5 Man Gauntlet Match
No.1 Contendership to the WWE Championship
Justin Roberts:
The following is to determine the number one contender to the WWE Championship at Over The Limit.
Two Superstars will start the match, when an elimination occurs the next superstar will enter the match, this will happen until there is one man left standing.
Introducing first from Marietta, Georgia Cody Rhodes!
And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California John Morrison.
Jim Ross:
Two great young superstars to start this match, this is going to be an evenly contested battle.
The bell rings for the start of the match but Cody Rhodes is handed a microphone.
Cody Rhodes:
Let me just say one thing, forget the Triple Hs and John Cenas of the WWE, Cody Rhodes is the name to remember, I will be the WWE Champion before this year is over, mark my words.
Rhodes walks over to the corner to toss the microphone back, John Morrison rolls him up and gets the pinfall. ONE
TWO..
THREE!
CODY RHODES ELIMINATED
John Morrison laughs as Cody cannot believe what has happened. He contests the referees decision but the referee tells him the bell rang. Cody exits the ring and rips the cover from the announce desk as
ALBERTO DEL RIO enters the match.
As Del Rio approaches the ring Cody Rhodes sneaks back in and kicks John Morrison in the back of the leg, as he stretches backwards Rhodes hits his Cross Rhodes finisher laying Morrison out.
Del Rio is in the ring, the referee refuses to allow the match to continue until Morrison has gotten back to his feet, which he slowly does the match begins.
Del Rio rushes towards Morrison and connects with a dropkick, sending Morrison crashing into the corner of the ring. Del Rio then jumps onto the second rope and clips Morrison around the back of the head with his foot, sending the battered Morrison crashing face first into the canvas.
Del Rio drags Morrison into the centre of the ring, flips him over and locks in the Cross Arm-Breaker. Morrison taps out quickly. JOHN MORRISON ELIMINATED.
JOHN CENA enters the match
Cena locks up with Del Rio, Cena twists the arm of Del Rio and wrenches it behind him before pushing him away. Del Rio looks annoyed at Cena.
The two men trade vicious punches until Cena is forced into the corner, Del Rio thrusts his shoulder into Cenas mid-section, as he stumbles out of the corner Del Rio locks in the Cross Arm-Breaker but Cena is too close to the ropes breaking the hold. Del Rio refuses to break and the referee counts. 1 2 3 4 5!
ALBERTO DEL RIO is DISQUALIFIED
Del Rio screams at the referee as Cena rolls around in pain. The referee instructs Del Rio to leave but he doesnt, instead he locks in the Arm-Breaker again. He refuses to let go.
TRIPLE H enters the match
HHHs music blares into the arena and the crowd go wild, with Del Rio still locking in the Arm-Breaker Triple H strolls to the ring, when he enters he fights Del Rio off and tosses him out of the ring. Del Rio heads backstage smiling as Cena lays hurt.
John Cena gets back to his feet and the referee resumes the match. Cena attemts to irish-whip HHH across the ring but fails to do so due to his sore arm, HHH reverses the irish-whip and connects with a high knee to the face sendng Cena crashing.
As he lay stricken on the floor HHH drops his knee onto Cenas sore arm. Eventually HHH pulls Cena to his feet and connects with the pedigree, he pins Cena. ONE
TWO
THREE!
Justin Roberts:
Here is your winner and the New Number One Contender Triple H.
John Cena rolls out of the ring and is helped to the back by medics as HHH celebrates his win.
The Miz, along with Zack Ryder and Haas and Benjamin rush through the crowd and circle Triple H in the ring.
HHH looks at all 4 men as Benjamin jumps onto the apron, as HHH deals with him Haas enters the ring and hits the Game from behind knocking him to the ground.
Jim Ross:
I cant believe what I'm seeing here! This four on one for goodness sake!
All 4 men then start to beat down Triple H stomping him until The Miz stops them all. He kicks HHH out of the ring and he stands tall with the WWE Championship aloft.
Ryder, Haas and Benjamin stand beside him applauding.
Jim Ross:
The WWE Champion stands tall tonight but will he do so come Over The Limit, goodnight folks.

First off all, I don't like reviewed matches. I like them full. But I guess you'll have your explanations for that. Promo stuff, can be improved, should be improved. The backstage stuff was pretty short. It should have been a litte extended taking into consideration you're not writing full matches. Not only that, the promos also need to be lengthier. You're fueds going in to Over The Limit (seriously, you made your mind to start with that PPV) are not so good but if built-up right, I'm sure they can be good. Overall, it was a pretty decent show. I'll give it a C. Good luck and keep writing. I'm sure you'll improve.
Im going to be a little defensive as its only the first week...
I dont like when the real WWE just throws feuds together, i like to see it built over time and thats what im doing. My fueds are going to have meaning rather than just being thrown together so thats why its slow heading into the PPV.
Talking of the PPV i dont understand the dis-approval of the choice of PPV, i didnt want to start at the Rumble or before Mania, Extreme Rules would have been a bad choice to start because the match stipulations would have seemed forced. I want to build fueds leading into SummerSlam.
I dont really see the point in extensive match writing, specially when you have 6/7/8 matches on a card, i think the relevant part of the match is enough for me personally.
This isnt an attack i just wanted to explain your points, again thanks for looking and reviewing, its much appreciated.
We know from last week that Triple H will challenge The Miz for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit but what we dont know is the details of the relationship forming between The Miz, Zack Ryder and The Worlds Greatest Tag Team... Will We Find out more when The Long Island Iced Z welcomes us onto his show...
All this and more including a rematch between Wade Barrett and Santino Marella
Bam, first RAW, first show, first promo - title match! Maybe you needed to build up to it a little bit mate? You just jumped straight in with it, this should have gone on the card later. Good touch with Ryder and TWGTT, obviously there is something more there. A stable led by Miz?
Barrett dominates Santino, OK then. You're obviously trying to make Barrett look strong here. I'll go with that. Don't like the short matches though, mate. As you get more into your BT, try and make them a tad longer to read.
Erm, Finlay is back! OK. Seems like a Finlay-Regal feud is coming as is a push for Zack Ryder. I think you need to get more detail in the promos as well, I'm not feeling it yet. You're new but you need to read round a little and realise that a bit more can go a long way here.
Gauntlet match coming for #1 contender and Bischoff as GM. Everyone does this, I never liked Eric much. Masterlock challenge, you're building up Masters which I like. Goldust stood no chance here ...

Man, this was awful! You need to add more to the promos. This looks like a rush job to me, slow down and make your shows better. More detail. HHH would never come out and say 'Miz? He's an idiot' and move straight on. Watch some of his promos on YouTube and try to get into him a little more. HHH wins and will face Miz at the PPV but Miz and his new team attack afterwards. OK, sounds like a plan!
Overall, it's a decent start but it can be so much better and I want to see you improve. Take your time and have a read around and you'll improve as a BT writer. Hope to see more from you soon.
