WWE Extreme Rules: WWE Raw Tag Team Championship - The Hardy Boyz VS Cesaro & Sheamus

WWE.com announced the Raw Tag Team Championship bout as the first official match for this year's Extreme Rules ppv. There's no word yet on whether or not a ladder match stipulation is to be added, though it's allegedly being discussed. Whether or not this will be, at least, a no DQ match is up in the air as it's sometimes hard to tell with most ER matches. There's almost always at least one "Extreme Rules match" on the card, but I always thought every match on the card was supposed to be no DQ. You know, the whole "the one night a year when WWE gets extreme" crap.

At any rate, this should be a fun bout, especially if it does turn out to be a ladder or some variation of a no DQ match, with the Hardy Boyz retaining.

What's going to happen is that The Hardyz will retain the titles. But I think that Cesaro & Sheamus should regain the titles. The latter have turned heel recently and quite successfully, I must add. A title win could give the heel turn a lot of momentum. The Revival isn't there so Cesaro and Sheamus is the top heel team and I think that they should have titles with them to make the tag division more interesting and entertaining. Plus, I don't see The Hardyz for much longer time as a time as the main interest is in "Broken" stuff.

If the plan is to split up the hardy's then why not have sheamus and cesaro win the belt here.

I heard that if matt is able to get the right to the broken universe, the wwe might want to use it on matt hardy as an mid card character and have jeff hardy as a main event talent. But for that to happens you need to split up the team and you have the perfect opportunity with this match.

Not to forget that Cesaro & Sheamus have turned heel and a title win could benefit them a lot. Gallows and Anderson are just there and The Revival is out due to injury. So, Cesaro and Sheamus are technically the top heels of the tag division and you can give them the titles here. Build some team like Enzo & Cass to dethrone them.

Or you could wait for Revival.

Another good match with some questionable result.

Sheamus and Cesaro won and it was the right decision but the whole thing with Jeff was confusing. Just like Neville against Austin Aries at the same event. I wonder if there's Broken Hardyz near in the future. The Revival would've to wait for their title shot since Cesaro and Sheamus are the top heels now.

I wonder if Enzo-Cass are next for the title shot.

It was the right decision. Cesaro and Sheamus are the best team in the division right now and the Hardyz nostalgia show fizzled out a few weeks ago.
