As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, WWE has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Test (Andrew Martin). We wish Test all the best in all future endeavors.

saw this on WWE.com and didnt see it posted anywhere..

well... cant really say didnt see this coming, steroids usage. no one really liked him. well best of luck to him wherever he ends up going.

I personally think that this was a stupid move. I mean the man was the best heel that ECW had. Who are they going to push now, Hardcore Holly and Snitsky? That sucks. Test had more upside then the 2 of them put together

I'm kinda pissed they let Test go, he's a good talent. He puts on decent enough matches, and puts the rest of the ECW roster to shame (the new guys I mean). Why are they letting Test go for steriods when half of the WWE is on them? Angle tested positive for steroids like twenty times and they never let him go. The WWE should be kicking out useless pieces of crap like Mike Knox, Kevin Thorn, Elijah Burke, Matt Striker, etc than a vet like Test. Plus, he was a damn good heel.

Another mistake by the WWE. Why not just shoot ECW in the head now and get it over with?

i glad hes gone, he sucked as a wrestler, had no charisma, had more steroid injections that hot dinners and was an insult to ECW. And ECW is crap anyway. I dont care how many times they push him, he'll never be over with the fans.

I'm unhappy about this. I really think if they would have worked harder on this Test would have been a great fit to rebuild ECW with. Even if not, he would be good on Raw or Smackdown. There goes Vince McMahon wasting talent and tossing it aside once again. I hope he goes to TNA. He would be a good addition to the roster.

This sucks! I always liked Test (except for the steroids). I think he was talented and that he could've gone far in ECW. This is a shame. And to all the people that say "Test sucks! Who cares!", you obviously never watched his old matches. He used to be a lot better than he was this time around.

I have always been a fan on Test, and although I am surprised by his release, I can't say it didn't cross my mind before. First he gets suspended for violating the wellness policy (funny Bobby Lashley and Batista are still here), and the he gets into a car crash. Vince must not have been happy with that.

Anyways, his stint in ecw was decent, as he killed almost everyone on the roster (Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, RVD, Sabu, even Lashley once). The extreme ellimination match sucked, but his elbow drop to RVD was awesome.

Not to mention he ended Punk's winning streak. Remember when they fought before D2D? They went to a double count out, which is not a win (CM was still undefeated though). Plus before the whole Lashley episode, Test was also undefeated (lost one tag match where Mike Knox was pinned).

So by getting rid of him, ECW has dug themselves a deeper hole. Now we get Bobby Lashley vs. Lamecore Holly (whom Test has beaten many times before) in a steel cage...great. That has Vince McMahon and Umaga written all over it, but of course the unstoppable Lashley will prevail.

Death to ECW.

Just want to thank you fans for the last year...I love to hear you boo me. I always said I would get out of wrestling when it wasn't fun anymore....and that's what i did. Don't get me wrong I still love wrestling, I always will but right now the WWE is not for me but no sour grapes I had some fun up until a month ago when the politics kicked in like they always do and at first ECW was so much fun, I can only imagine it when it was the real ecw but when Paul Heyman left ecw left with him..what was left of it. Sorry if I let any of you fans down but I needed to leave there for me...so to all the fans thanks again."

You know you are a natural heel when you love to hear boos. Anyways, does anyone think there is a possibility of him going to TNA? To me it doesn't seem likely.

ECW HAD potential, but as soon as Heyman was released...downhill from there. It was just starting to build up, and ONE crappy PPV, Vince goes nuts, and fires Heyman who HE thought was responsible for everything, even though most likely Vince read over everything before the show was put on.

Test would have been a good ECW Champ. He WAS over with the fans, he DID have enough charisma (more than Lashley) and was certainly GOOD enough to hold a belt like the ECW Belt. What now? The Giant Jobber, Snitsky as ECW Champ? Test would have been the best man for the job with his Impact Player gimmick thing going on.

Now, ECW will die. I don't care how many times Vince shows up, it's too late. It's too late to fix the damage that has been done to the company.

Anyways, I'm done rambling.

Test has the look but doesnt have the ability or charisma to cut it as a main eventer. They tried to push him numerious but he cant run with the ball. His match at Royal Rumble is a good example.

I did'nt think he would last long. I'm never optimistic about wrestler's chance's after they've returned. Just look at Charlie Haas, Jimmy Yang & Shannon Moore. He's showed a lot of intensity since he returned and I would have prefered him as champion over Lashley & Big Show any day. But I guess that's the lsat we will see on Test in the big time. I dont see him going to TNA.

I expect Orton to put the move's on Kelly Kelly now Test is gone.

Isn't Orton engaged? Well that didn't stop Edge and Lita, and I don't expect it to stop him either.
