As cheesy as this game looks I plan on buying it. It seems like a fun game that I could get a kick out of and enjoy playing with my 4 and 5 year old niece and nephew. They enjoy wrestling and SVR is a bit tricky for them to handle. I'd imagine this game will be pretty much button mashing. The roster has potential to be great and with Savage in it I will be sure to use him a lot. All the guys who could potentially be in this game and if they add a create a superstar option then it'll be even better as we can add the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair.

I'm still confused as to why JBL and Taker aren't in this game and Kofi Kingston and JoMo are. I understand the need for more acrobatic stars on the roster, but where are Eddie Guerrero and HBK?

They just haven't been announced yet I'm sure, Taker is sure to be in.

This game looks really cool but as of right now I don't plan on buying it, a rent will suffice. The game parallels the FIFA/NBA series in a way; Smackdown vs. RAW/ WWE All Stars is like FIFA Football 2011/ FIFA Street. The gameplay looks quite fun and the graphics, which I was not expecting, look great. Along with a decent roster so far, this game has the potential to be a gem, differing itself from the outdated and boring SvR series.

Just saw on the front page that Randy Orton, Ultimate Warrior, and Hulk Hogan have been added to the roster for this game. Now that is freaking awesome. You knew Orton would be in the game, but Hogan and Warrior surprise me. Hogan is obviously in TNA, so I figured it would be unlikely to see him in the game. Being a big Hogan mark it thrills me that he is going to be in the game. Warrior, we know has been on bad terms with the WWE. So it shocks me to see him in the game. I'm not a huge Warrior fan, but he was definitely a big part in WWE history and it is pretty cool to see him in the game.

When WWE All Stars was revealed at E3, I was hesitant about its release. Maybe I was just too used to the realism of the Smackdown Vs. Raw franchise to accept such a huge difference in game play and graphics, but as more and more information and videos are released, the more this game starts to look appealing and gain my interest.

Now, I am excited that the wrestler’s and matches look like they could have came from the wrestling dream-matches of my childhood. The roster that has been announced so far looks like it will be a good mix of the best of the superstars of yesterday and today. I'm sure it's a matter of time that names such as The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels are announced.

WWE All Stars looks like it will be a fresh breath from the simulation that the Smackdown Vs. Raw series provides, and more casual but exaggerated arcade experience, and it might be well worth the purchase.

I was originally of the same opinion as the OP but now I'm eagerly anticipating this game's release. First the addition of Macho Man got me interested and then a video of Andre literally punching Sheamus out of the ring had cash registers ringing inside my head.

I live in England and WWE All Stars is going to be relased on Friday here and before i buy it on friday i wanted to know from anyone who's already bought and played the game how the game is, is it good/bad?, whats good/bad about the game? Is it better than SvR 2011? Other opinions on the game...

This game will be a no deal game for me. Although it looks like it could be fun for the younger gamers, it just looks to 'arcadie' for my liking. Although the line up does look good, as I feel that they have cut out all of the jobbers!!

People need to stop asking for Benoit as a Legend in WWE games, it will NEVER happen, not considering what Benoit did in his final hours! He murdered his family and then committed suicide! THAT negates EVERYTHING he ever did as a wrestler in the eyes of WWE and anyone else.

I'm honestly a bit disappointed with the roster. There are some good names both current and legendary, and it does hold true to the commercial's "two generations will collide" remarks.... but it just does not hold up to the potential it had. I think that roughly half of the entire roster (modern) should have been present, even some divas. They do not have to include everybody, but it would have been nice if they included guys like Christian who deserve to be in the game more than some of those who did make it in, because there are people who'd like to play as their favorite modern superstars against some of the legends, but will have to stick to Smackdown VS Raw for that it seems. They did a decent job on the legends selection though. Maybe include Trish and Lita in as diva legends to face the divas who made it in, had there been any. This had the potential to be the biggest wrestling game in years, but it falls short of that by having a less appealing roster than the recent Smackdown VS Raw games, which should pale in comparison when a game based on potential dream matches is released. Unfortunately that is not the case.

Ok. I can't ignore that. You people SERIOUSLY need to stop these types of comments. Yes, Benoit did something awful. That does not stop him from being gifted in the ring. Judging his worthiness of earning legend status based on that night is just as bad as Vince trying to erase him from history. He was a former World Champion whether people want to admit it or not. I dunno if I'd call him a legend, but come on people.... Judge the man's legacy by his in-ring ability, not the mistakes he made during the last days of his life. He was a great WRESTLER.

I just got the game Sunday and I’ve got a few things I would like to air out.

Divas!! If the cartoon Legends and Superstars have exaggerated heights and weights and moves, what would have been exaggerated for the Divas?? HAHA!!

All-Stars?? Every (or at the very least, most of the) former WWE / World Champions should have been included in this game.

30 Stars with about 15 more coming in the form of DLC. There better be 15 more on top of the 45 announced to make it 60 Stars all together and there better be some package deal. How much does the DLC usually cost anyway??

There should have been managers.

Do I have to enter the “Unlock Everything” cheat code everytime I turn the game on?? It doesn’t seem to save what’s unlocked.

Why do certain Legends and Superstars have 3 alternate attire, but most have two?? Why not just give all of them 4 each?? I would love to see Hulk Hogan as Mr. America, Macho Man in N.W.O. Wolfpac colors, Andre the Giant as Fezzik, Rey Mysterio in either his Daredevil, Flash, or Joker attire, and John Cena wearing a Nexus shirt.

Will the DLC Legends and Superstars have alternate attires as well??

I must admit, I am loving Hollywood Hogan and Macho King.

Where are the Titles in Exhibition Mode?? Me and my people (kids and friends and kids’ friends and friends’ kids) love fighting over the Titles in Exhibition Mode ever since Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. The complaint before was, “where are the rest of the Title Belts”, keyword “rest”. I get it, it’s the “NBA Jam” of WWE, but still. I want 4 versions of the Tag Team Titles, 3 versions of the US Title, 2 versions of the IC Title, 2 versions of the WCW / World Title, and 6 versions of the WWE Title…at the very least.

Why are the entrances so short?? I think Ultimate Warrior is the only Star that they show walk all the way down to the ring. Then again, if they only showed him go up to where all the others go up to, that would be about 3 seconds. Entrances and exits play a huge part in the show.

Who made up the tag teams in the DX / Tag Team Path of Champions?? Some of them I get, but some of them are just “What!?”

Where is the Create-A-Stable?? That would include, but not limited to, Tag Team entrances and double team moves. If I pick DX, I want D-Generation X, not Shawn Michaels and Triple H, I want D-Muthaphukin X.

6 arenas. One Raw, Two Smackdown (where is a previous Raw set, and which one would you rather see between the past Raw sets??), a WrestleMania, a SummerSlam, and, of course, an All-Stars Arena. Where is the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and for $#!+s and giggles, King of the Ring??

Kurt Angle would have been nice to see in this game, but who picked Honky Tonk Man as the 15th DLC character and what were the other choices??

Does anyone else think Vince McMahon himself should have been in the game in any way, playable or non-playable??

Is this a good assessment on how the WWE (Vince McMahon) views how the Legends and Superstars and Tag Teams rank in history?? (I placed the substitutes right in the middle, for a lack of a better understanding as to why they were picked as the subs.)

I got everyone’s alternate gear, including the 2nd alternate gear for Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, John Cena, and Rey Mysterio, but I didn’t get the achievement, “All Geared Up”. Can someone tell me why??

Also, I’m guessing the DLC does not have alternate ring gear, because I completed a Path Of Champions with Honky Tonk Man and nada.

I just got this game and have been playing the fantasy warfare mode and I'm up to McIntyre Vs. Piper and I just had to come here and say that I think this game is obscenely hard

Every match is like SVR on Legendary mode its actually a challenge and its really anyones match to win and the controls are def worse than SVR games

I hope WWE12 doesn't use WWE All stars controls........

This is the kind of game any really casual gamer , or a kid would throw their controller across the room over I'm sure -_- had to turn the difficulty below "Average" mode just so that I myself didn't chuck my controller through the TV screen..... I'd hate to know what the actual "Hard" mode is like in this game

Actually speaking off which , my brother got pissed off even playing it against me and left saying more or less that the reversal system was BS (I agree)

Oh yeah and wtf is with the exclusion of Jericho and Ric Flair from this games roster I know hes not wrestling right now but cmon... really? Kofi "no world title" Kingston is in the game but not Y2J? No Flair the guy with most world title runs ever? Cmon!

Game also has no regard for sound adjustments made in the options menu during cutscenes which wouldn't be a problem except that I have a REALLY stupid cable box that forces me to change the volume with a diff controller and then back for the TV (well its complicated) but yeah lots of upsets & dissapointments sprinkled all over an otherwise pretty good game

So now I'm playing the other story mode thing and they keep doing elimination matches

It almost feels like both of the other enemies are after me only , if I get out of the ring and avoid them I sware they both turn their attention to me and try to get me and get out the ring too instead of fighting each other.

Also when I don't run away it STILL seems like their attacks are all at me and not each other.... the AI in this game is so ridiculous its TOO realistic in that sense and they play TOO well/competitivley even on normal... I hate it personally it just is frustrating me redoing matches over and over lol
