* Pyro goes off, crowd roar as the camera flies around the arena, and we go straight to the announcing table on the inaugural episode of WWC VOLTAGE!

Michael Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first ever edition of WWC VOLTAGE here in New York city!. The crowd is going insane!

Josh Matthews: Thanks Michael, here at Voltage tonight we are going commercial free. Were bringing you a brand new, fast paced, action packed wrestling show. Tonight we’ll have some amazing matches for you and later tonight our CEO Donald Trump and our very own WWC Voltage general manager, Eric Bischoff will have a message regarding the future of Voltage!

Michael Cole: Yes tonight will be special, I might even say it’ll be Vintage, and up shortly we’ll be diving straight into the action with the first ever match in WWC VOLTAGE.

Josh Matthews: And, these two will be wanting to perform their best and hoping they will be considered in Bischoff’s championship plans.

Michael Cole: Certainely, Well Josh, this is a wrestling show, and what better way to start this show off, than with some good old fashioned heavyweight action. LETS GET TO IT !

*Justin Roberts is in the ring

Justin Roberts: Introducing first, in the first ever match on WWC VOLTAGE, weighing 272 Pounds, from Dublin Ireland, SHEAMUS.

*RANDY ORTON makes his entrance huge ovation. He walks slowely to the ring, gets in, without taking his eyes off of Sheamus.

Michael Cole: Did you hear that ovation? What a match we have hear for the first match ever in WWC VOLTAGE.

Josh Matthews: Yes Michael this will be a good one, and both will be knowing that Eric Bischoff will be backstage watching intently.

Michael Cole: Yes Josh and for that reason any superstar could make a mistake because their minds are elsewhere, thinking about a chance for championship gold.

MATCH ONE:
*Randy Orton .vs. Sheamus*
(BELL)​

The men circle in the ring and eventually lock-up. Sheamus puts Randy into a side headlock and smirks at the crowd. Randy shoves Sheamus into the turnbuckle and breaks the hold. They lock-up for the second time and Sheamus takes randy to the mat in an amateur style fashion. The crowd rally for Randy and he powers out and he stands up and quickly connects with a kick to the mid-section of the Celtic warrior. Randy hits several rapid punches and Sheamus crumples to the mat. Randy runs and rebounds off the ropes and hit’s a high diving knee to the head of Sheamus. Randy stares at shamus for a moment before picking him up, Randy hold‘s Sheamus‘s head and connects with a huge European uppercut. Randy goes for a chin lock and hooks it in. Sheamus is writhing trying to escape, he succeeds and proceeds to run at the ropes at speed, he rebounds off them but Randy catches him with a huge dropkick. Randy dives for a pin.

Josh Matthews: What a Dropkick by Orton.

Michael Cole: Orton needs to take this opportunity and punish Sheamus as much as possible, which is really unlikely to happen.

Randy is in control and focusing the attack on the head and back of Sheamus. Randy whips Sheamus into the ropes and hit’s a strong falling clothesline. Randy jumps up and stands over Sheamus, he lands several stomps to Sheamus’s chest and the crowd is going crazy. He picks up a groggy Sheamus and hit’s a snap standing suplex. He picks Sheamus up again and throws him to the turnbuckle and charges but Sheamus gets his foot up and connects with a kick to the head. Randy stumbles backwards, checking his face for blood. Sheamus waits for Randy to turn and he charges at him and hit’s a discus double axe-handle. Randy is down and Sheamus stares out into the crowd and roars. The crowd boo immensely. Sheamus picks randy up, who is moving very gingerly, and Irish whips him into the corner, He lands a slap to randy’s chest and it can be heard throughout the arena. Randy stumbles out of the corner into the centre of the ring, Sheamus comes up behind him and grabs randy’s neck and connects with a swinging neck breaker. Sheamus goes for a pin..

Josh Matthews: Randy was trying desperately to ware his opponent down but Sheamus had him covered there. It looks like Sheamus could go on now and make sure randy does not make a comeback.

Michael Cole: Right you are Josh, Randy tried to inflict some damage on Sheamus, but he’ll have to do a lot more to keep a man like Sheamus down! And both will really Want to step up their game, knowing Bischoff was watching backstage.

Sheamus picks Randy up for a high cross power bomb but Randy escapes and counters with his signature headlock inverted backbreaker. Sheamus rolls to the outside of the apron and Randy plays up the crowd. Sheamus attempts to re-enter the ring but Randy catches him and hit’s a delayed rope hung DDT. Sheamus is down put Randy decides not to pin, he lets Sheamus get back to his feet and then Irish whips him to the ropes. Sheamus rebounds off the rope and randy attempts a clothesline but Sheamus ducks under Randy’s outstretched arm. Sheamus rebounds off the ropes again and charges at Randy and goes for a double axe-handle takedown but Randy ducks, Sheamus stops and turns and Randy out of nowhere hit’s a scoop slam. Sheamus is down and randy see’s his chance. He falls to the floor and pounds the mat, the crowd know what is coming and they are going insane for it, Sheamus slowly gets up to his feet and is about to turn to a looming Randy Orton, he strikes but Sheamus is awaiting and he hit’s a brogue kick out of no-where. Sheamus refuses a pin and waits for Randy to get up. Randy is up and Sheamus hits brogue kick number two. He puts Randy between his legs and picks Randy up for his running power bomb and nails it.

Justin Roberts: And the winner of the match, The Celtic warrior, SHEAMUS.

*Randy leaves the ring leaving Sheamus standing tall and he is gesturing that his waist will soon have championship gold around his waist.

Josh Matthews: Well I’m surprised, Randy had it in the bag and he let I all go, losing your first match will unfortunately put you behind the winners of tonight’s matches in the race for the WWC Championships.

Michael Cole: That may be Josh, but Sheamus was tactically superior throughout the match and in my eyes he was a deserving winner…

Josh Matthews: Cole were you watching the same match as me? Hell did Sheamus throw a punch? Randy deserved it tonight but showboating cost him this match and now he’s at the back of the line as far as the championships are concerned.

Michael Cole: Whatever Josh, anyway Ladies and Gentlemen something is going down backstage between Bischoff and Trump…​

*We cut to backstage where our cameras are peering in through the General Manager’s office door, at sight of Bischoff, the crowd go insane.

Eric Bischoff: Well trump, What can I do for you?

Donald Trump: Is he on board yet?

Eric Bischoff: Lets just say he’ll be here next week, so any other new signings you’d like to tell me about? .

Donald Trump: Yeah there is this one guy. . . . wait!

*Donald storms over to the door and slams it shut, the crowd moan.

Michael Cole: Well by the sounds of it next week is going to be interesting with, what seems, a major superstar is arriving here at WWC VOLTAGE. I wonder who it’ll be?

Josh Matthews: Well by the sounds of it also, it seems there are still quite a few superstars to arrive at their new home, VOLTAGE ! But lets get back to some action now and up next we have a women’s battle royal to decide the new WWC WOMENS WORLD CHAMPION.

Michael Cole: Decide? I really cant see anyone competing with Awesome Kong now, honestly, this shouldn’t take long at all.

Josh Matthews: Well Cole, you cant write off the experience of Mickie, the speed of Melina, and the strength of Beth Phoenix.. Well off we go, and by the end of it we will have our first champion of WWC !​

*The Women Wrestlers have already gathered in the ring while Justin Roberts is in the centre.

Justin Roberts: This match is for the WWC WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP, and it is an over the top rope battle royal!

MATCH TWO:
Over the top rope elimination
Mickie James vs. Beth Phoenix vs. Awesome Kong vs. Melina vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Michelle McCool vs. Layla vs. Eve Torres vs. Marice
(BELL)​

We start off and all the women competitors attack Kong, Layla and Marice are holding Kong’s legs while the rest throw kicks and punches. Mickie gestures for them to disband and she hit’s a goodnight kiss kick. Kong is groggy and Melina gets in position, shrieks and hit’s a inverted DDT. Kong is down and Natalya goes for a sharpshooter. She is unable to turn Kong and the others help. She locks the sharpshooter in and Kong is writhing in pain. From the back Michelle hits Natalya with a chick kick and Natalya falls out of the sharpshooter. The women bicker and all swarm around Michelle. The women’s fists are flying everywhere and Michelle is on the ground, trying desperately to cover up her face. Layla backs away and looks at the vicious beat down, remembering her previous history with Michelle she pulls at Michelle’s feet and recovers her body from the other wrestlers. She picks her up as the girls look on confused. Michelle looks at Layla and smiles. They hug, but in the process grabs Michelle’s head, twists and hits her inverted backbreaker. She stands over Michelle’s now motionless body, and gestures for the rest of the girls to throw her out. They all hoist Michelle up and throw her out of the ring
ELIMIMNATION- Michelle McCool (3:41)

The girls are staring at Michelle as the outside enforcers bring Michele up the ramp away from ringside. While the women are distracted from the elimination, Kong is slowly getting back to an upright position. Kong is looking at the other women as the crowd roars. Sensing something, the women turn around to face Kong, who charges at the wrestlers, most duck but Kong manages to catches Marice and Natalya, who are beside the ropes with a strong clothesline and sends them over the top rope.
ELIMIMNATION- Marice and Natalya (3:50)

Michael Cole: Look at that!! Now tell me how anyone is going to throw her over a top rope? Cranes aren’t permitted in wrestling, Josh? ​

Kong is staring at Marice and Natalya as they stumble up the ramp as all the remaining women grab Kong and desperately try to shove her over. Kong battles back and starts throwing punches at everyone, one punch is all it takes to knock each of the women down. Kong surveys her damage strewn across the mat and looks for a target. She eyes up Melina and picks her up, she shoves Melina’s head between her legs, she rolls her up into a power bomb position and drives Melina into the mat. Melina crumples on impact as Kong pick her up a again. Kong looks out to the crowd, and in a gladiator style, the crowd point their thumbs down, showing they want Kong to do it again. Kong obliges and picks Melina up again for the power bomb and she hits it. Mickie James is up and she tries to clothesline Kong, no chance. Kong stops her and Grabs Mickie’s neck and lifts her up several feet into the air. She disposes of Mickie with a devastating choke slam. Kong climbs to the middle rope. She eyes up mickie and goes for the diving splash, mickie rolls out of the way and escapes a 272 pound splash. Mickie starts stomping away at the fallen Kong. She tries to pick her up but no success. Eve Torres has now regained composure and is standing up. She see’s her chance and goes to the top rope. With one last look at Kong’s position she hit’s a moonsault. All of the girls have regained composure now and they all lift Kong to her feet. They are trying desperately to get over the top rope. They cant lift her over and Eve gets the women to move aside. Eve Torres hit’s a running dropkick and Kong flips over the top rope and crumples to the floor.
ELIMIMNATION- Awesome Kong (4:20)

Josh Matthews: No Way !! Kong has been eliminated! Now it really is anybodies game! Who is going to be the first WWC WOMENS CHAMPION?

Kong is still at ring side and she climbs on the apron and grabs Eve by the hair and drags her over the top rope and up the ramp. Layla attacks Tamina and Mickie goes after Melina. Beth is biding her time sitting on the turnbuckle waiting to attack. Layla is throwing slaps at Tamima and hit’s a swinging neck breaker. Beth come over and helps Layla pick Tamina up and toss her over the top rope.
ELIMIMNATION- Tamina and(Eve Torres) (6:20)

Michael Cole: Well controversy here as Eve Torres has been deemed eliminated by Kong, who was no longer in the match, it’ll be interesting to see where this goes!

We are down to the last four. Layla is ecstatic after eliminating someone. She tries to high-five with Beth but Beth picks her up and hit’s a glam slam. She continues to throw her over the top rope.
ELIMIMNATION- Layla(6:40)

We are now down to the last three. Mickie and Melina instantly go after Beth and are throwing punches at her. Melina holds Beth while mickie delivers a kick to Beth’s midsection. Melina then gets in position for her finisher, a sunset flip power-bomb(Last dream) and hits it to perfection. Beth is down and Mickie and Melina stare off. They lock up and Mickie puts Melina in a side head-lock. She runs to the ropes and rebounds off them performing a running bulldog. Mickie delivers two kicks to the gut of the fallen Melina. Mickie locks in another headlock and wrenches Melina’s head from side to side. She releases the hold and slams Melina into the ground. She picks her up and hit’s a body slam. Simple but effective. Mickie is making her way to the top turnbuckle for a thesz press but Beth is up and swipes Mickie’s feet from under her. Mickie crashes onto the outside mat.
ELIMIMNATION- Mickie James(8:40)

Josh Matthews: Damn! Mickie is gone leaving only two wrestlers remaining! It is really anybodies match now!

We have only two wrestlers left and Melina is still down on the mat. Beth looks at her and picks her up. She puts her in the glam-slam position and looks to the crowd and they roar their approval. Beth hit’s the Glam-Slam and proceeds to toss her out of the ring..
ELIMIMNATION- Melina(9:10)

Justin Roberts: The winner of this match, and new WWC WOMENS CHAMPION, Beth Phoenix..

Josh Matthews: YES! The WWC women’s championship couldn’t have went to a better person. She was tactically superb throughout and waited for her chance to strike. She avoided the school girl bullying and took all her opportunities to eliminate her fellow wrestlers.

Michael Cole: Yes Josh Beth is very deserving, but I still think Kong should have one, anyway were going backstage to catch up on what’s going on between Kong and Eve.

*We go backstage and Kong has Eve in a dressing room and is beating her to a pulp.

Kong is bashing Eve’s head into a metal cabinet several times. She shoves Eve’s head into a sink and fills it with water and holds Eve’s head in it for nearly a minute. She takes her out rams her into the metal cabinet again. Eve falls to the floor and Kong lay’s the metal cabinet on the ground beside her. Kong picks up eve and power-bombs her into the cabinet which crumples on impact. Kong stands over her smiling after her days work.​

Josh Matthews: What is Kong’s beef? She got eliminated fairly and squarely by eve. There is absolutely no need to attack her like that

Michael Cole: Kong is just making a statement to the GM about her capabilities and proving she will be the most dominant women wrestler here at VOLTAGE.

Josh Matthews: Cole your full of it, or shall I say SHIT! Kong may be big, but is not the best wrestler, as seen tonight.

Michael Cole: Josh, I want to punch you already, Anyway folks, Matt Stryker is backstage with EDGE for a view words in a “Moment with Matt” ​

Matt Stryker: welcome Edge, now tell me why are you here at VOLTAGE?

EDGE: Well Matt to be honest I’m too good for WWE or TNA. I need a new challenge, a new playground, new meat. . .

Matt Stryker: Ok, so what aspirations do you have in mind?

EDGE: Hmmm. GOLD. I thrive for success and nothing else will do. I over accomplished in the WWE and left to give someone else a chance, and to ruin someone’s chances over here! As soon as Eric announces his plans I’m in on whatever he has on mind and I will get championship gold around my waist once more. I will not finish until I am your WWC heavyweight champion.

Matt Stryker: Thanks for your time Edge.

Josh Matthews: Well a lot will be hanging in the balance regarding his announcement later tonight, but first lets get some more action in the form of tag team wrestling.

MATCH THREE:
Hart dynasty vs. The Uso’s​

First up in the ring are Tyson Kidd and Jimmy Uso. They lock up and Jimmy takes Tyson to the ground in a headlock. Tyson wriggles out and tags in David hart smith. Smith throws punches to Jimmy and connects cleanly in the head. Jimmy is groggy and David runs, rebounds of the rope and hit’s a big boot to Jimmy. He picks Jimmy up and Irish whips him into the turnbuckle. He lifts Jimmy up to the top turnbuckle. David attempts a superplex put jimmy holds fort. Jimmy throws three head buts and David falls to the mat. Jimmy now attempts a splash . . . But he’s missed. David gets the hot tag to Tyson and Tyson hit’s a kick to a fallen Jimmy’s midsection. He picks Jimmy up who rams Tyson into the Uso’s corner. Jey Uso is now in the match. Jey and Jimmy hold Tyson and throw him to the ropes and then they hit a double super kick. They then hit a double elbow drop and Jimmy leaves the ring. Jey picks up Tyson for a samoan drop but Tyson collapses on him and goes for a pin.

Michael Cole: What a match up here!

Josh Matthews: Yes Cole, these teams are so evenly matched it can go either way!

Jey kicks out and Tyson drags him over to David smith. David tags in and picks jay up and delivers a running powerslam. Jimmy attempts to interfere but Tyson runs in and hit’s a clothesline taking Jimmy out of the ring. David goes for the sharpshooter but Jey wont turn. David stands up and stomps on Jey’s chest twice and locks in the sharpshooter. Jey is screaming for relief and none comes. Jimmy finally gets back into the ring and delivers a swift kick to David’s back. The hold is released and Jimmy picks up David onto his shoulders with a struggle. Jay is behind him and Jimmy throws David up, Jey catches him on his shoulders and hit’s a lethal samoan drop. Jey goes for another pin.

Michael Cole: My God how close was Jey there! Milliseconds away..

Josh Matthews: Yep, this is an instant classic right here I tell you ladies and gentlemen, There is no doubt in my mind that these two are the future of WWC’s tag team division.

Jey delivers a few more stomps and goes up top. He hit’s a splash and David is out. He now picks David up and hit’s another Samoan drop. Jimmy runs across the ring and takes Tyson out of the equation. Jey goes for the pin but Natalya jumps in the ring and Jey stands up, confused at the situation. Tamina runs across and takes out Natalya out of the ring. Jey turns around and runs into a recovered David who hit’s a vicious clothesline. David picks Jey up and hit’s a standing delayed suplex. Tyson has made his way back to their corner and David tags him in. David picks Jay up for the Hart Attack and Tyson springboards off the top rope and guides Jay to the ground. He locks in the sharpshooter and Jay taps instantly.

Justin Roberts: The winner of this match, The Hart Dynasty! (8:22)​

Josh Matthews: What a match and the Hart Dynasty deservedly win their first match here on Voltage.

Michael Cole: What are you on josh? Jay had the match won before that chick interfered and cost the Uso’s the match! .

Josh Matthews: Natalya was just getting what was rightfully David‘s and Tyson, the victory.

Michael Cole: No josh, NO. You are getting it all wrong, are you watching anything?

Josh Matthews: Ugh this is why I got a higher pay, to stay beside you without killing myself!

Michael Cole: Shut up! Well Ladies and Gents, we are only an hour into are first show and we have already had so much action already. Lets head backstage for another “Moment with Matt”.​

Chris Jericho: Why? Why? Because I don’t need WWE, I don’t need those parasites, those hypocrites, I was treated like crap in the WWE, they don’t deserve me, look at me, I am the best at what I do, and I don’t need to be asked why I’m here! Ok?

Matt Stryker: So what are your plans regarding championship Gold?

Chris Jericho: I will be the first champion here Matt, no one can compete with me, not even close, look at me, I ooze greatness, I speak excellence, I shit greatness, Your looking at the greatest sports entertainer in the history of pro wrestling!

* The crowd boo at Chris Jericho’s arrogance.

Matt Stryker: Eh ok, you have a match with Cm Punk tonight. Thoughts?

Chris Jericho: (Jericho grabs the mike off matt) CM Punk? The man who thinks he has followers of his silly little society. Come on, “Don’t drink or do drugs” give me a break, the man looks like a greasy cocaine monkey, and his little bald minions, (Chris puts on a high Childs voice)
Ooooh there so scary, they put the fear of god into me, I really hope they don’t come out there or tonight to beat me up, and I’ll have to run a mile to get away from them, before they shave my head and make me take a pledge, boohoo, (Chris laughs sarcastically, the becomes serious looking at the camera)
Punk, Tonight, I’ll beat you so badly you’ll be on pain killers for the rest of your life, Got it?

*Matt tries to take the mike back but Chris gets up in his face.

Chris Jericho: Did you just touch me? How dare you touch me!

Matt Stryker: eh..em..er.

*Chris hits Stryker in the head, he throws him into a nearby TV and picks up the mike again.

Chris Jericho: Touch me again? (Chris laughs once again and walks away)​

Josh Matthews: Interesting there by Jericho, but he has definitely made a big statement to Eric about his interest in Gold.

Michael Cole: Definitely a big statement there attacking our interviewer but that can bring on trouble with management for it.

Josh Matthews: Granted but Chris is the type of person who gets what he wants, if he wants gold, he’s going to get it!

Michael Cole: Well if he loses to punk tonight he isn’t going anywhere fast, he’ll need to win tonight to make a instant impression.

Josh Matthews: True, But I don’t think that will happen, he just isn’t the type of person to be put at the bottom of the pile, like you!

Michael Cole: Josh, you’re a piece of crap, y’know! Moving on Ladies and gentlemen we have another match coming up, between Matt hardy and Cody Rhodes. No doubt who the winner will be, Cody Rhodes, he is just dashing!

Josh Matthews: No, Matt hardy is an experienced veteran of the wrestling business and I don’t see him losing this one.​

Cody Rhodes vs. Matt Hardy.
(BELL)​

The two opponents circle each other, they lock up and matt goes straight for the side headlock. Matt throws Cody towards the ropes and catches Cody on the return with a clothesline. Matt runs to the ropes, rebounds, and lands a elbow drop to Cody. Matt places Cody near the corner and goes up top. He hit’s a second rope leg drop to the neck of Rhodes. Matt lands three stomps to Cody Rhodes chest and picks him up again. Cody escapes and runs to the ropes. He rebounds off the ropes and hardy catches Cody, and hit’s a side effect. Matt picks Cody up and hit’s a suplex. Matt is dominating easily. Matt picks Cody up and throws Cody to the corner. He runs and connects with a forearm and quickly follows with a bulldog. Matt is measuring Cody, Cody stands up to a kick to the gut. Matt puts Cody in position and hit’s the twist of fate.​

Michael Cole: Well Josh, Matt has come here to Voltage, and he means business, and it looks like he’s got something to say.

* Matt grabs a mike and proceeds to the centre of the ring.​

Matt Hardy: I was in WWE for ten years. I worked my ass off for them, put my life at risk, put everything into matches, never gave up on them, wrestled to the best of my ability every match, and what did I get in return… NOTHING! Not one shot at Heavyweight Gold, not even close. WWC is a new start for me, a new chance for gold, a new chance to be respected, a new chance to be in the limelight!.

* Cody is back in the ring with a mike As well.

Cody Rhodes: You know matt, I’m the same, I got nothing in the WWE, I need a new start too, I got stuck with a man with the personality of paper in WWE, I need some gold for myself. . . . And I deserve it more, much more.

* Christian appears on the stage , the crowd are going crazy as Christian nods to them .

Christian: Hold up now, Matt I respect you, you are a veteran in the business, and you do deserve more, but I’m a veteran to, and if anyone deserves shot at the High Voltage championship, it’s not you Matt, it’s going to be me! As for you Cody, go deal with that uni-brow of yours, you don’t deserve anything.

*Cody is disgusted and moves away and sits on turnbuckle

Matt hardy: Christian, no disrespect to you, but here tonight, you haven’t done anything to earn any chance at High Voltage gold.

Christian: Well, how about I come to that ring and change that?

* Matt throws the mike on the mat and gestures Christian to come on, Christian walks towards the ring , but Eric Bishoff comes up on the screen to a huge cheer.

Eric Bischoff: Hold on there guys, lets not lose control, how about this, you underachievers, you two will face off next week, in the High Voltage 8-man tournament to decide the first High Voltage champion.

Cody Rhodes: Hello? What to I get Eric? Huh?

* Cody is back in the centre of the ring staring at the titration.

Eric Bischoff: Let’s see, yes, you can teach me how to trim my nostril hairs, yeah?

* Cody is fuming, while Eric, the crowd and Matt and Christian are laughing!

Eric Bischoff: Oh, you were serious, well, Next week you can wrestle a newcomer here at Voltage in the same tournament, how about that?

* Cody is now smiling with an opportunity to get into a championship match.

Cody Rhodes: Now who might that new-comer be?

Eric Bischoff: Let’s just say, you better grease the ropes because this guy can fly!

*Cody is intrigues as Bishoff dissapears from the titatron, Matt and Christian head to the back, shortly followed by Cody himself​

Josh Matthews: Did you hear that? What a week next week is turning out to be, with the beginning of an eight man tournament here on Voltage, surely Bischoff will have more on this later.

Michael Cole: Yep, quality match-ups to come next week, and now another new superstar, a high flyer from the sounds of it is making their way to Voltage. What a night it’ll be, with two of the most devoted wrestlers ever, in Matt and Christian fighting their hearts out to try earn a chance at gold, but let’s not forget about tonight

Josh Matthews: Well not forgetting what’s left to come tonight, our main event is up next and what a main event it’s going to be, Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk, these two will be desperately trying to get into Eric Bischoff’s good book tonight.

Michael Cole: A lot is at stake Josh, who ever loses tonight, might be left out of Bischoff’s plans for the WWC Heavyweight Championship! Bischoff will be straight to the ring after this match.

Josh Matthews: Well folks it’s now time for our main event.​

* CM punk emerges from the curtains by himself, the crowd boo heavily as Punk makes his way to the ring. Punk slides in the ring and gestures that it’s naptime.

Justin Roberts: And his opponent, from Calgary Alberta, weighing 226 pounds, Chris Jericho.

*Chris comes out to an initial pop, before the heat slowly overshadows the cheers . Chris slowly walks up the steps, grinning at his opponent. He gets in the ring and the bell rings.

Match five:
CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho.​

Punk and Jericho circle each other and then lock-up, they break it quickly and stare at each other once again. Punk gives a sharp kick to Jericho’s quadriceps. Jericho answers with one of his own. Punk kicks again, again followed by Jericho, they repeat this sequence twice more before Jericho gets a punch into Punk’s face. Jericho is holding Punk’s head and lands a blow to the back of the head. Jericho rolls Punk through and lands a hard kick to Punk’s spine. Jericho then applies a front headlock. Punk is on his knee’s, he’s trying to get back to his feet. He makes it to his feet and grabs Jericho’s arm and twists, getting out of the move and locking in an arm wrench, and pulls hard, causing Jericho to writhe in pain. Punk holds Jericho’s arm behind his back while Jericho is trying to break free. He manages to escape and lands a blow to Punk’s head. Jericho quickly goes for the side headlock, both men are on their knee’s again. Punk delivers an elbow to Jericho’s ribs but Chris keeps the hold locked in. Punk, while in a headlock runs to the ropes and pushes Jericho off of him, Jericho runs and rebounds off the opposite ropes, while Punk charges from the other side. Jericho connects with a big clothesline and Punk is grounded. Jericho runs and bounces off the ropes, but Punk jumps over him, Jericho runs back and in turn jumps over Punk. Jericho turns and catches punk with a roll-up, which punk reverses into a roll-up of his own.

Punk picks Jericho up and connects with a spinning jujitsu kick to Jericho’s mid-section. Jericho roll’s out of the ring and Punk grabs a mike in his hands, while Jericho is on the ground.

CM Punk: Now while chris is on the outside, dying for some painkillers, I think it’s about time someone knocked some sense into ye, and at home. Look at yourselves, I can see that everyone here is controlled by alcohol, it is controlling your lives, you need to break free, be in charge of yourselves, be Straight Edge. My message was ignored back at the WWE, so I came here to help you, I want to make you better, I want to make you like me, Straight Edge. So I want everyone in attendance to raise their hands and take the Straight Edge pledge, please would you repeat after me, ]

* CM Punk clears his throat.​

* Crowd are silent. They are urging Jericho to get up,​

* Jericho is back in the ring to a big cheer and strikes Punk.. ​

Jericho hits punk again and kicks the mike out of the ring. Jericho runs at punk but is caught with a hip toss. Jericho is up and Punk goes for hip toss number two but Jericho catches Punk with a clothesline. Punk is quickly up and lands a quick kick to Jericho’s mid-section. Punk now lands a punch to the back of Jericho. They both back into the corner where Punk rolls Jericho through and lands a stiff kick to the spine of Jericho, who cringes with pain on impact. Punk picks Jericho up and lands a forearm to the face. Punk grabs a hold of Jericho’s arm and tries to Irish whip him but Jericho keeps hold of the ring ropes. Punk gives a knee to Jericho’s chest and then Irish whips Jericho across the ring. Punk bends over while Jericho rebounds off the ropes and lands a kick to Punk’s head. Punk runs backwards into the ropes and springs off them connecting with a clothesline to Punk which sends him to the ground.

Jericho picks up Punk by the hair and hit’s a backbreaker to the knee. He holds Punk there in a backbreaker submission, pushing Punk’s neck as far back as it will go. He releases and Punk falls to the mat clutching his back while Jericho lands a foot to the head. The men are up and they trade punches to the ooh’s and aah’s of the crowd. Punk runs at the ropes and rebounds off them only to be met by a big boot from Jericho. Jericho hit’s a senton. He then locks in a headlock, which he releases from quickly. He lands a kick to the gut of a bent over Punk. He does this again and picks Punk up. He delivers a suplex to Punk. He then runs at punk and delivers a huge clothesline. Punk goes over the ropes but manages to land on the apron. Jericho runs and tries a springboard dropkick, Punk ducks sending Jericho crashing to the mat. Punk see’s his chance and goes for a springboard clothesline but Jericho catches him in mid-air with a code breaker, which gets a huge cheer from the crowd.

Josh Matthews: My god how did Punk kick out of that! That was awesome

Crowd are shocked that Punk is after kicking out. He stands over Punk and proceeds to lock in the walls of Jericho. Punk makes it to the ropes eventually and the submission is released. Jericho lifts punk up and throws some punches to the face. He goes for a lariat but punk ducks. Jericho turns to a huge side-kick to the temple. Punk Irish whips Jericho into the corner and goes for the shining wizard. Jericho gets his foot up and sends Punk back. Jericho hits two forearms to Punk’s face and Irish whips him to the ropes. Punk comes back and goes for the dropkick but Jericho moves and swats Punk away. Jericho goes for a lionsault but punk rolls out of the way. Punk lands a kick to Jericho’s knee. He proceeds to Irish whip him into the corner where he follows up with a shining wizard. He follows with a running bulldog. Jericho is down while Punk signals it’s naptime. Punk gets Jericho up for the go to sleep and hits it to perfection.

Punk cannot believe Jericho kicked out. He gives out to the referee while Jericho is starting to revive himself. Jericho is up and Punk turns directly into a code breaker.

Michael Cole: Ladies and Gentlemen, that is what you call a modern day classic. These two put their hearts into this match, pity about the winner though

Josh Matthews: It was a classic indeed, but Jericho did deserve to win, Punk’s anger cost him the match and that’s something he’ll have to deal with.

Michael Cole: What? Punk had a right to be angry over that referee’s slow 3 count. If. .

Eric Bischoff: ah, it feels so good to be the manager of a wrestling show again, without being held back by a man who wont let go, and by a women who never had anything to hold on to. Here at Voltage I want to start anew, I want to bring WWC up from the ground and have it rival with the very best the wrestling world has to offer. With Trump alongside me, well more importantly his wallet along side me, I have the freedom to go out and spend, spend, spend without the fear of going bankrupt. Donald?

Donald Trump: The last time I was in the business, I was owner of Raw, I could have done so much, but I achieved so little, I gave in to money but this time, nothing is going to stop me, Vince had been getting it so easy at the top of the pile, no-one had come close to him, laid a finger on him, but, eric and myself have took him down. You have no idea how much money will do for you these days, and before you know it, WWE will be terminated, permently

Eric Bischoff: Thanks Donald, now I know you all want to know what is happening with the WWC championships. I can tell you now that the Heavyweight championship will be decided upon a elimination style match up starting in two weeks time, where we will start out with four wrestlers, then the next week we will have three and so on, with the event culminating at our inaugural PPV, INCEPTION. I can tell you now that Chris Jericho and Sheamus are indeed in the match-up, alongside a brand new superstar who is yet to be announced. The last wrestler will be decided next week when, Triple H takes on … EDGE (crowd erupts). Now as for the High Voltage championship, as announced earlier, there will be an eight man tournament beginning next week when Matt Hardy takes on Christian, and Cody Rhodes takes on a mystery opponent. Then in two weeks time in the same tournament, Kofi Kingston is taking on Evan Bourne and Dolph Ziggler will be taking on The Miz. Again this tournament will culminate at INCEPTION. Finally as for the Tag teams there will be a one on one match at INCEPTION featuring the two standout teams of the next few weeks. Other than that all I can say is stay tuned for some great wrestling and the debuts of several new stars in the weeks to come.

Aftermath:

Wade Barret came to the ring after the show ended. He cut a promo explaining his anger of how, firstly he was not on the first show, and secondly how he was excluded from the eight-man tournament. He demanded he was given a challenge. Eric Bischoff then appeared on the screen and said he had a challenge for him. Out cam the tag team of Joey Mercury and Luke Gallows, The Straight Edge Society.

Here is my review! I will just be typing down notes as I read your show again.
I think you should of started off the show with a promo as it was the first ever show of a promotion but a match is nice. A really well written, long match up but Sheamus should have used some underhand tatics to put Sheamus away, but it's your BT. The promo between Bischoff and Trump didn't make much sense. Vince won't know what hit him? Suprised he even has a company with all his top stars gone? Is Vince still working with WWE?
Great way to crown a Women's champion and Beth is a great choice as she can have great matches with just about anybody. A bit of a bland promo by Edge, but that's all you need. Really awesome tag match. it made the Usos look strong as well as the Harts in victory, so good job there.
For a second there I thought Jericho was going to back to his loveable Y2J self but then he flipped out on Striker so nice promo!
Just a bit of a nothing match here between Rhodes and Hardy but that's all that needs to be done. But I guess not, as all three match are into the Title Tourney!
Nice match between Jericho and Punk with a great promo from Punk inbetween, looks like Jericho will be quite high up on your BT which is good news. And the Tourney announced for later times from Trump.
I didn't expect much from you Burnout but you put on a really nice, enjoyable show with great booking. Repped and can't wait to read next weeks!
