People outside of Britian don't know that. They don't care either
You sense a lot of things that aren't thereI'm sensing an intolerance for other cultures.
Autoban offence.
It doesn't matter, all I know is girls with British accents are the best. I don't know why, it's just hot. End of story.
When I've been to Leeds, people have called me Cockney. I have no idea why.

That would be the funnies part about American accents. instead of saying Brisbane they put a Y in it. everytime JR says it, I can't help but laugh.
lol and Mel-born.
Thia could not be more true. Emma Watson's is amazing. I'm pretty sure that came off extremely creepy.
The worst accent by far is the yankee accent. Peopole from Boston and New York drive me crazy, I could not live there.

For the love of God don't lump the New York accent in with the Boston Southie accent. It's not even remotely the same sound. I suppose I have a classic Italian New Yorker accent when I want to. Usually I can almost completely eliminate it and speak flat, however when I don't think about it or get angry it seems to come out without warning.
When I moved to Louisville KY and told everyone I was from NYC the first thing most of them said was "Oh? You speak so well!" I wonder what the hell they expected me to sound like? Some guido mook straight off the set of Goodfellas? I didn't expect them all to sound like redneck hillbillies...
Anyway, on topic, I enjoy listening to certain British accents. I wouldn't know what to specifically call them though, so I too am guilty of just using the short hand "British accent" tag. Apologies.
