Wrestling Tournaments to Crown #1 Contenders Should be Done More Often.

Don't you think so? I mean, whats better than the amount of time a division gets throughout a wrestling tournament? Not just the World Title, but this could bring back to life a solid midcard title, such as the US title, Tag Titles, etc.

Wrestling tournaments are always so much fun. I mean, who doesn't like to watch 8 good wrestling matches, based on wrestling tournaments, leading into a PPV. It doesn't require much of telling a story heading into a PPV, and can be used to uncover a diamond in the rough. Such as when Shelton Benjamin faced Shawn Michaels, in probably the best Shelton Benjamin match I have ever seen. Causing massive amounts of love going twards Shelton Benjamin from me.

It also brings prestige to a title. Just think of many tournaments in the past, it made us care about the title.

One division that could seriously use a tournament like this, is the US championship right now. We've seen Kofi have match after match with no real fued, for quite sometime now. I think a tournament to bring a little prestige back to the title, causing a good fued would cause Kofi, entertainment value, and the Title a lot of good.

I agree Milk, I mean not all the time but definatley more often.

If they do it right it is a lot of fun. I mean the IC title tourney last year that Punk won to face Regal was ok but they can be done much better. I would love to see one for the mid card titles because it will be harder to predict. With the WHC or WWE titles it would be easier to see who will probably win but with mid card tourney's everyone (or most anyway) is usually on a level playing field.

You can also stretch them out over a couple weeks to build a solid feud/story going into the final at a PPV.

I'm with you, more tourney's would be good to see but as I said, not too often otherwise it will be killed. It's good seeing one occasionally though, for sure.
