[[TITLE SUPPOSE TO READ WRESTLEMANIA 28]]

After watching the promo this past Monday Night between Shawn Michaels, HHH & Undertaker. I came to think..

If Undertaker defeats HHH and becomes 19 - 0 who could he possibly face for what is most likely his last and greatest Wrestlemania Main Event?

SHAWN MICHAELS!

Think about it, Shawn still has regret about losing to Undertaker at Wrestlemania and if one main was going to ever end his Wrestlemania streak it can be no one else but Shawn Michaels.

Undertaker ended Shawn Michaels career, but if he were to come back for one more match this would be the only match he could ever consider.

Imagine Shawn Michaels ending The Undertaker's streak and career at his 20th Wrestlemania?

What are your thoughts?

I respectfully disagree.

Though HBK can make great matches with Undertaker, he's done all he can with the Undertaker. He's made a great match with him at Mania 2 times!

But there are many reasons why a third WM line up wouldn't work.

1. HBK is retired, he won't be coming out of it that soon.
2. You can't outmatch WM 25's classic match. WM 26 attempted well enough, but failed.
3. Undertaker has so many other great men to wrestle.

Undertaker can wrestle John Cena, The Rock (If he returns to the ring that is), Chris Jericho (Only if they book it right), Stone Cold (If he truly wants and can do ONE last match), and even some of the younger talented individuals.

HBK vs Undertaker won't be happening, maybe at SummerSlam or another PPV, but not WM 28.

And just to note, if Shawn Michaels did return, why can't he fight another great wrestler beside Undertaker? Edge comes to mind, and maybe another go around with HHH, because I haven't seen that in seven years.

Plainly.
NO!
Shawn is done with wrestling. Hes not going to come back in a superstar role. If he does stick around, it will be like what he did on Monday. Hyping matches once and a while where it seems right or a background role.
If someone were to break the streak it would be someone to hold the company on their shoulders and in doing so (breaking the streak) will propel them to the level of say Cena or Hogan of his time. But if it were to be broken i would want to see Wade Barret do it because he looks like he's going to be the Cena of a new generation. He was a great leader in Nexus and again in Corre. Also because Barret kind of reminds me of a young Triple H in his calculated approach to everything as well as his physical stature.

wat bout next year wrestlemania shawn comes out before mania like jan time and say triple h its time and he comes out of retirement for one match and retire triple h that would be a good idea there

I disagree with a passion although I do not feel like doing a line by line response like I usally would in this scenario. Shawn Michaels career is over. What does this mean he doesn't wrestle anymore he might be able to make a promo here and there but he does not wrestle. That was what the second Undertaker rematch was all about. If Shawn loses he loses his career. So how in hell would Undertaker face Michaels especially since Undertaker already made the original stipulation that if Michaels lost he would have no more career. Also we do not need to be saying old guys come back and face the Undertaker. It does not need to happen, we need to be building our youth and being in a match against Taker at Mania may be more of a push then a title shot. Michaels is done, dead, dommed, to be forever retired. Get used to it.

Why? That doesn't accomplish anything. I'm sick of people saying "one more match" when they are done. Or when they do give that "one more match" they later get those chants again.

Let HBK be done with it.

yea it seems like a possible good idea only if u hav the best writers to orchestrate it and the match completely outshines WM 25, anything else besides that NOPE!!!! dont do it. i mean they had drew mcintyre in line for a undertaker match but taryn terrell screwed that up for the chosen one.but maybe a CM punk vs. undertaker match?!?!?!?!?!? i liked their matches after hardy left maybe they can do that (if done the right way) or just something with some new talent maybe a alberto del rio or the miz both very huge heels who can put on a great show.

As much as Id love Shawn to wrestle one more time, i wouldnt want him to face taker yet again at mania twice is enough

i was and still am the biggest HBK mark in the world but i really dont want nor do i think this match is gonna happen because HBK is enjoying being retired and honestly what more can him & undertaker do? they had 2 classic matches 2 years in a row it wont happen again. HBK could easily come back and end up facing triple h in a match put these 2 together in a 1 on 1 match and they can put on a show because there tht damn good :worship: the only match i could possibly see HBK doing is facing triple h at next years wrestlemania as a way of telling triple h its time to retire

too much of something good is bad.
HBK send off was great, he is being inducted in HOF and has expressed the desire to respect his retirement.
I doubt they`d have Taker to go 19-0 and then end the streak at 20. 3 matches worked well for Rock-Austin but that is completely, completely different.

Well, let's see, if we go by the current rumor Taker will go till WM 30, right? When he defeats HHH at WM 27 he's gonna go 19-0 by defeating 17 men. Why not face 3 credible former world champs he hasn't beaten at WM before at a 4-Man Elimination Battle Royal at WM 28 next year to even the number of the victims to 20?

I think the match with HBK is enough.

This is just my personal preference....CHRIS JERICHO!!!.

I agree with everyone that, the way that HBK and Taker ended, shouldnt be messed with anymore, assuming that HBK comes back, which I think not. He has said numerous times that, he wants to honor his word, and the Undertaker, so, I don't think he will pull a Flair.

That being said, if he comes back, I would love to see Taker take on Chris Jericho because, his "motto" is that, he is the best in the world at what he does, and he always says that, he has done everything in the business, except beat Taker.

To the best of my knowledge, they have never had a one on one match, let alone at a PPV, I know that, they have been in a couple EC matches together, but, that's not the same.

A third Wrestlemania match with HBK and taker wouldn't get the intrest of fans they would want. Taker would be better to face John Cena, John Morrison if he gets pushed in the next year to look strong and able to defeat him. But in the next year we don't know what new stars might be there that would be a good fit. I just don't want to see another match where taker faces HBK, Edge or Kane he has faced them all enough at wrestlemania and other PPV's.

Put simply, no. This is where the law of diminishing marginal utility really comes in. A third match would just be stale and less valuable to the fans even though the performance would at least be good.

What I'd like to see for 20-0 is a triple threat match. Taker has never been in one at WrestleMania and it would really add that unpredictability factor to the game because Undertaker wouldn't have to be defeated for his streak to end.

Taker-Cena-CM Punk is the triple threat match I'd like to see.

Not only has HBK been very adamant that he's retired for good. WWE had Ticketmaster send an email to people attending the hall of fame stating many rules. One rule was chanting of any kind will not be tolerated. Which I'm sure is an attempt to eliminate the one more match chants for HBK. I know people miss seeing him wrestle, but they need to accept the fact that he's done.

I don't see the point of having a retired wrestler come back and retire Undertaker and end the streak. If the streak ends or if Undertaker loses a retirement match it will be against someone that will benefit from it. If Undertaker makes it to next years Wrestlemania without injury he will most likely face someone he hasn't faced at a Wrestlemania before like Cena or Jericho. Then he'll probably retire soon after he's in his late forties and been plagued by injuries often. I don't see him sticking around too much longer.

i think the match will happen at WM 30 instead of next year..next year is too soon..
all you guys saying Michaels will stick to his word and not come out of retirement all i can is you people are so misguided..so who gives a shit what he tells the media or says now..all great wrestlers came out of retirement..all of them..even Shawn Michaels..

Bret Hart whose word seemed to be the only one you could trust, went back on his word and came back and for the WWE. If he could go back to WWE after what they did to him then i think Shawn Michaels can come out of retirement for one last match with a guy like Taker. Epics are usually designed to come out in threes if there's a second. So it wouldn't make sense to stop at two. If WWE can't find the right guy to end Taker's streak then Michaels might be who they have to bring back to make it make sense. It's not as 'out of the question' as some of you smarky know it alls think.

Has Been Kid is done he's worthless and has nothing left to offer the business, not that he ever had anything to offer but now for sure he's worthless. Let the taker wrestle someone up to his standard like Trips or Mysterio or even Orton anyone but that piece of fecal matter that needs to go to a corner and die

Wow, how stupid is the last part of this post. Well actually the whole post is stupid but whatever. If you knew anything, you would know a)he is wrestling HHH this year for the SECOND time at WM, and b)he has already beat Orton at a WM. but again I digress.

I am on board with the belief that HBK is indeed done. Its been a year and not once has there been any report of him getting the itch or anything. The only reason he's been on TV is due to the HOF. I think after tonight it will be a very long time before we see him on TV again.

Now as far as WM 28, assuming 'Taker wins tonight, the last only real $$$ streak match would be for 20-0 vs John Cena. God only knows where Cena will be in a year with the fans. If there ever was a year to turn Cena heel it may be 2011. Cena with an ego about how he is the face of them company, the company would be nothing without him, ect ect and then DONG DONG DONG, 'Taker comes out and its on. OR Cena can stay a face and say he's done everything at WM except get a shot at the streak, and then of course DONG!!! 'Taker comes out and its on. Either way HBK-Taker 3 will NOT happen.

I love HBK, but how many shots can you really get? It almost would feel like you just get to keep facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania until you win.

No. You get a match, barring than you get 1 rematch. Hunter used his, HBK used his, Kane used his. It is done.

We are at the point now where you have to really consider who can defeat the Undertaker with enough raw force that Hunter just barreled into him tonight.

What about DX vs the Brothers of Destruction fitting way to end guys like Brothers. and a way for the WWE to sell that last bit of X merchandise lol but seriously woo do they got
I mean is Sheamus, Wade or ABR going to be a fitting latch match
Then barring a rematch who do you got Miz??, Punk?? Jericho??
Heck I think they reason HHH was booked this year is they realized they peaked with two matches with HBK

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match. These are arguably the two men who came the closest to beating the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

It would be a fitting end to Undertaker's career to go out 20-0 at Wrestlemania after beating Triple H and HBK in a match.

Shawn wont come out of retirement. Atleast not to wrestle anyway. He will probably show up on a show every now and again but he wont step back in the ring again.

I know the same was said for Ric Flair but Shawn Michaels has said he wants to spend more time with his family and he is nearly blind in his left eye(i think) and he is definitely done in the ring.

So no. Shawn wont vs. anyone, let alone undertaker anywhere, let alone WM.

If HBK every does come out of retirement I truly believe it will be against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania but the question would be which one? 28? 30? Does Taker even hang around that long? I also think it would not be a one on one match because triple h will definitely be included in this and we could have one of the best triple threat matches ever.

I honestly doubt it will be Hell In A Cell at Wrestlemania 28 because of the roof and just imagine your seated right at the top, you won't be able to see anything.

Its gotta be Triple H at 'Mania 28, and how do you top last years?

Career vs. Streak - Last Man Standing

Even though i would like it to be someone else, It has to be Triple H and that would be the best way to do it.
