This is mainly in response to the WWE dropping the Money in the Bank Ladder match at Wrestlemania in favor of a Money in the Bank PPV later in the year. Many (even within the WWE) have expressed grief over the talent that may not even make the card, so I started thinking of possible solutions.
Then I thought back to the early Wrestlemanias (namely Wrestlemania 2) which featured a 20 man battle royal. It wasn't really for something major, like Money in the Bank, but it did offer a wide variety of talent a place on the card. My question to you is: would a battle royal work on the card of Wrestlemania 26?
It could have a stipulation, such as a future title shot, be for money (kayfabe), or simply for inter-promotional bragging rights. I'll leave that up to you. I just want to know if bringing back this Wrestlemania match would be an appropriate way to showcase the talent that may otherwise be "left out".
Shoot me some thought or opinions on how you think this would impact the Wrestlemania card. Would you want it? Would you watch it? How would you make it happen?
