This year's annual talent shoehorn

Turn Bayley heel
Every year there is some convolouted attempt to get as many of the roster as possible on the Wrestlemania show or pre-show. Last year it was the ECW #1 contenders Battle Royal, at Wrestlemania 23 it was the tag team lumberjack match, at 22 and 21 it was more battle royals, but ones with no obvious purpose and at Wrestlemania XX, they had two fatal four way tag team matches, as well as a cruiserweight open.

I assume WWE do this to make all of the talent feel they have a role on Wrestlemania, or maybe just to reward these low carders with a PPV bonus. Whatever it is, I'm assuming that there will be something along these lines this year.

What would you like to see this year? I find that multiple tag matches with many participants tend to weaken the card, and I dind lumberjack matches dull and monotonous. That being said, a battle royal that doesn't have any purpose is also boring.

Personally, I'd leave a spot open in the Money in the Bank match, and have a battle royal on the pre-show to determine the final participant. It isn't the world's greatest booking decision, but I feel that it would be a reasonably interesting premise.

How about an eight man tag team match? Put your undercard workers who can work a faster paced style in the match, and have them go 100 MPH. Give it between 6-8 minutes, have the faces win, and get the crowd worked up.

Eight man tag matches can be all right, if they are booked properly.

Ill agree with the 8 man tag match idea...it would be fast paced and exciting, a good way to get the crowd all fired up and what not. I also think that the wwe will try to get some of the old hacks, o excuse me the "legends" on the car. and in the chris jericho match the might do like a legends lumberjack, jericho of course would get tossed to the outside a few times and the legends would kick him around for some payback.

If you look at the people that are left over, there are more names left than spots in the Money in the Bank match. Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Mr. Kennedy, MVP, Rey Mysterio, Kane, Morrison, Miz, Shelton, Umaga, Big Show, Finlay, Kozlov, JBL, Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero, R-Truth....granted a few of those could just be left off the card, but, you know.

Now, some of those guys won't fit in the MITB match due to their styles/size. Can you really see the MITB heels being Umaga, Big Show, Kozlov, and Mark Henry? No way. But what's also weird about the situation is that you can't have a match with all the monsters, cause they're all heels. That'd be weird.

I can see Henry, Kozlov, JBL, R-Truth, Chavo, and Finlay being kept off the card...but I can't see Big Show or Kane, and I still think Shelton/Morrison/Miz will make up 3 out of the 4 heels in the Money in the Bank match. Kane works much better in the MITB than Big Show...but what does Big Show have? Maybe they'll put him in with Kennedy, as Kennedy would probably be overlooked more so than Rey Mysterio for the MITB.....

Damn. I don't know. Maybe they'll just do that typical battle royal scenario haha.

They could have a Texas Tornado Tag Team Gauntlet match. Last team standing gets a shot at the tag titles of their choice, so you can even have a couple of random ECW pairings like Tyson Kidd and Paul Burchill for example. Eliminations could come pretty swiftly and quickly and just have 2 occassions where the same two teams are duking it out for a while. Just think of how many people could get on the card that way:

Cryme Tyme
Jesse and Festus
TBK/Ezekiel
Burchill and Kidd
Finlay and Hornswoggle
Kennedy and MVP
Khali and somebody random like Funaki just for a laugh
Dolph Ziggler and Jamie Noble or something (they'd be gone in seconds)

Round all the excess talent up, throw 'em into an elimination chamber INSIDE hell in a cell, wrap it in barbed wire and set the motherfucker on fire. problem solved.......jk.

Really though, to hell with a random assortment of names and faces we don't really hear about as often as others. If you wanted to get creative, let Punk and Shelton duke it out for the sake of perhaps starting a new tradition. US Champ vs IC Champ, Smackdown vs Raw, anyone else see where I'm going with this? Two decent midcarders on the verge of M.E. status opening the night. Big enough names to get the crowd warmed up and wanting more, but not so big that it would overshadow the rest of the night. Seems logical IMO. Oh...and sidenote, fuck unifying these two belts. Each show needs a midcard title. Random thought, I know, but I'd say neither title would be on the line. Make it more for bragging rights for the winner's respective brand than anything else. Plus it would at least get those two belts on the card in some form, rather than ignoring them completely.
