Would you like to see Carlito back with the Shining Stars?

The Shining Stars seem dead in the water right now. One match and they're back doing vignettes. With the Wyatt's back and the New Day, would you like to see another trio in the mix? I thought the Shield/Wyatt's feud a few years back was one of the best and I was hoping 3MB would have been elevated from jobber status since they all had talent. What do you think? Would Carlito back in the mix make them a good three man group? Would you be entertained or could you see some good possible feuds?

There's no saving this tag team, not Carlito as a manager, not a small person in a bull costume, nothing. They have this medium range newness that wears off in a week and I can't see that changing. They'd be better off away from the WWE, like in Japan or somewhere.

First of all, I've been trying to figure out who the hell these "Shining Stars" were that I've been hearing about, so thank you for clearing that up. Secondly, weren't these three already a tag team at one point? I know there were three of the Colon brothers as a faction, but I'm trying to remember if Epico was involved. Thirdly, these guys are really coming in at a bad time.

They were re-packaged at a point when the tag division was lacking and stayed away a bit too long. With the inclusion of The Vaudevillians, Enzo/Cass, and Gallows/Anderson over the past few months, there's not much room for another contending tag team right now. You have Breezango as the comedy jobbers of the division and Golden Truth as the novelty act, where exactly do Primo and Epico fit in? I don't even think the WWE knows as they've been spinning their wheels with them forever.

As for Carlito, I'd say it has a good chance of happening if they bring him in for the brand split. Or more likely, the gimmick gets scrapped, they get split up in the draft and become independent jobbers on Main Event, Superstars, etc. I just don't see this working out, shitty timing really.

I'd rather see the Shining Stars future endeavored personally. There's plenty of talent in the tag team division, there are several interesting teams in NXT who can be brought up at any time and the Shining Stars concept was DOA the moment of their debut. I mean...they wrestled one match on Raw a few months back and I haven't seen them since apart from a few vignettes. They received almost zero response from the fans and I've no interest whatsoever.

Regarding Carlito, he's someone else I just don't have any interest in. I'm not saying he can't be useful as a jobber or something, but there are a ton of other guys on the main and NXT rosters who, in my opinion, are head and shoulders above him in talent.

I see the Shining Stars gimmick just being scrapped and these guys go to being used as enhancement talent on Main Event and Superstars.

Their gimmick is just boring. I mean, what are they? They tell us to come to Puerto Rico. Why? What's the point? I don't know. They're not even that good in the ring or good on the mic. I don't see how a 37-year old mid-carder from 6-7 years ago would change anything.

I really thought they would do something with these two after all these vignettes, but nothing. I've seen them in one match and now we're back to hearing how we all kind of suck and they are living the life of Riley in Puerto Rico. The Shining Stars are the perfect example of the trailer being better than the movie.

Quite honestly they were more interesting as Los Matadores. At least they had El Toro who was great for people like Bo Dallas to knock over, it provided some laughs now and then. Now they are just bland and boring and I don't think Carlito, who's shown no interest in coming back would help them.

Maybe when they do the draft they will do something like if RAW doesn't want you and SD doesn't want you, here are your walking papers. I can dream.

I don't want to see any of the older stars coming back, they're just going to be used as jobbers. If they were actually coming back to be pushed into upper midcard spots and have real storylines and feuds that will go somewhere, it would be worth it, but they're just going to have them jobbing to nobodies.

Why would someone like Carlito who was mid card at best come back and be pushed to the moon? There is a huge difference between enhancement talent and a jobber. Someone like Jericho is there to help put the newer guys over, make them look like they belong. The lower part of the card are jobbers, you know the guys who lose almost every match they are in.

Not everyone can be in the main event or even the upper midcard. As for nobodies. Those nobodies you speak of are today's and tomorrow's superstars. They are the ones leading this company forward, so you'd really better get used to them cause they ain't going anywhere, anytime soon.

Very true. RVD comes and goes. Gets huge pops at royal rumbles, can win the IC title and still puts over Orton, Rollins and others. Carlito and crew can be another team to fight New Day, Enzo and Cass, etc. Remember guys, there are 5 hours to fill and I don't think everybody from NXT is getting called up

Come on, get real. Carlito has a great thing going in Puerto Rico. He'll fail Wellness within weeks of his arrival. Why should he put himself through that when he can smoke all the wacky weed he wants in his FATHER'S promotion? As for the "Shining Stars"? The only reason they are still employed by WWE is that WWE needs Latino stars to appeal to that market. Furthermore, they are related to one Carlos Colon. If it were not for those factors, Primo and Epico would have been starring in WWC a YEAR ago. The current gimmick sucks donkey balls.

I never said they should be pushed to the moon, but they should NOT be jobbers, and that's exactly what ALL veteran talents in WWE have been turned into. If a guy like Carlito comes back and loses all of his matches, there's no point in him coming back at all. But coming back to get a nice push, another run as US or IC champion, and put a few guys over in the process, that's another story.

Carlito is a guy who should have been a Main eventer. IF he comes back I hope he get a good run. They could start pairing him w/Shining Stars and then have him break away.
