After reading "What Happened To Obama?" by Drew Weston (link found above) I got to thinking about how our current situation would be had Hillary defeated Obama in the primaries and gone on to defeat McCain for the presidency.
I don't think Hillary would of wasted her time on a lot of the issues Obama has and she would of focused on the economy (as her husband coined the phrase "It's the economy, stupid.")
I was really behind Hillary during the primary, because Obama just wasn't that qualified. He had just become a senator and in 2006 democrats saw potential in him for future runs, but I don't think they even thought he had a shot or the experience at that point to run the country. It really was a dumb move to vote him in with so little experience, but maybe Dems thought he had a better chance to win office then Hillary.
Anyway, do you think the country would be more stable right now if Hillary had been elected instead?
