Actually, I don't care for Prince either, and there are always those songs that you just cannot shake, no matter how hard you try. Another strong example of this, as shown in the TV Show Scrubs, is "A Little Respect" by Erasure. Now, it is on my iPod and whenever it comes on, no matter who I am in the car with, I have to belt it out and hit every high note. It's like a disease...

The worst song ever is Brooke Hogan and Paul Wall. I am a rap fan from Houston, and will say that at one point, Paul Wall was good. Now he says things like, "I could catch boppers if I had prostate cancer."

Also, I just hate Nickelback, so pick a song and put it on my list of crap. Same with fitty cent. Actually, most rock bands now suck big balls. What happened to anger? All rock now is crying about exes. Who cares? You never stood a chance with the girl you're crying about not getting a chance with. If you want women in high school pl;ay football and don't be in a shitty band that imitates the shittiest of all bands (Nickelback).

The Black Eyed Peas were OK, but then they split up and we got 2 crap solo albums from will.i.am and Fergie and music just got a whole lot worse.

Heres a couple of songs I can't stand.

1. Crank That-Soulja Boy
I hear this song all of the time at the pep rallies at school that we are forced to go to. This song is so bad, yet people are still making different versions of it. To name a few there is crank that spiderman, crank that soulja girl, and crank that calvary boy. We here it at all of our dances, and everyone freaks out and starts to dumb that idiotic dance. I am so glad that this song isn't on the radio anymore.

2. Party Like a Rockstar- The Mims?
What is the point of some rapper pretending to be a rock star? Seriously all this song says is Party Like a Rock star over and over again. I really don't know how this caught on, but it is still very popular at school.

3. Chicken Noodle Soup-?
Who writes a song about chicken noodle soup? Seriously, the first time I heard this song was at a school dance. My friends and I went out of the room until it was over. All it said was my chicken noodle soup over and over. Thank god the dj played some Metallica and the Ramones after that (Talk about a major mosh.)

It’s hard to pick just one song as there have been and will continue to be terrible overplayed excuses for 'songs'. Here are my top three.

1. Crash Test Dummies ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’ – I can’t stand that guy’s voice. People who say Randy Orton’s monotone need to listen to this song. It makes me want to shove sharpened pencils into my eyes. Seriously, what kind of lyrics are ‘Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm’?

2. ABBA ‘Waterloo’ – The beat and inane, repetitive lyrics make me cringe. Love’s been compared to many things but Waterloo? That’s something you should learn about in history class. I can’t change the station fast enough if this comes on.

3. Craig Morgan ‘International Harvester’ – No offense to the farmers of America, but I just don’t care for a song about a guy ‘chugging’ along, hogging up the road on his combine. This song is annoying and way overplayed on country stations, and the main reason why I don’t really listen to much country anymore.

Other than any country song ever made, "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden is the worst song I've ever heard. I'm refraining from saying, "any song ever made by Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP, or Alice in Chains" but the topic said worst song, not songs.

DMX and NAS are the only 2 rappers I listen to, everything else I just pick and choose, but I don't own alot of Rap, just a handful of singles to go along with my NAS and DMX CD's

Why is it that fans of Death Metal and Extreme Metal often say they hate all Rap, except for DMX, NAS, TuPac, and occasionally Notorious BIG?

I totally agree with ya there, mate. Rap, in my opinion, is done really poorly these days.

I also agree with Freedom 35 about Fall Out Boy... Just terrible.

I'm a big Classic Rock fan, but believe it or not, The Doors really piss me off lol.

Everybody talks about how bad Crank Dat Soulja Boy song is. Ive got to agree. There is no lyrical content to that song whatsoever. Also the beat to it is just god awful. It sounds like somebody skinned a cat and put it to some shitty lyrics. Truly a terrible song.

I also don't like Photograph by Nickelback. Its too damn cheesy if you ask me. Espeially by a band that thinks that they are hardcore. Ill tell you if Nickelback thinks they are hardcore then Britney Spears is also hardcore.

EDIT: I also hate Shinedowns new song "Devour". Im really fucking pissed too. I really like Shinedown but this song just plain sucks. I hope the rest of their new album isnt like this one.

Lets take a small look at some of the songs you just compared to when you said this song was overplayed on the radio. Here are some songs that are way to overplayed and still suck.

Avril (I dont give a rats ass how to spell her last name) Girlfriend. Basically I liked this girl before this new album and new song. Basically what it tells me is "hey its ok to be a bitch because I said so" It has a terrible everything to it. Avril looks ulgy as fuck in the video somehow i'm not sure. But serously avril write your own songs next time, Don't go pick them from the declined box in your manigers office.

Solja boy, Crank that, And solja girl. Basically the same fucking song with different lyrics to me. I liked crank that at first. Lol because I could do the dance prety well. But when everyone else started doing it. And kids came into school basically dressing and acting him. I stoped doing the dance and lisiting to the song. Because the more I lisitened to it i realised it was shit.

I will explain it. An overrated song by an overrated band = Shit. It's not just this song by System of a Down that sucks. Its all of them. Serj Tankien's voice has got to be the worst voice I have ever heard. Back that up with some horrible guitar riffs and sub par lyrics, and you have yourself a horrible song. I won't say that they aren't talented and have a huge fanbase, but I don't see why they are so popular. I'm sorry Phatso. That's just the way I see it.

It's got to be something be Enter Shikari.

Not only are their songs terrible, they're probably the worst band I've ever heard too. Their mixture of Synthesizers, Screamo and the Post-Hardcore sound is the worst combination of music I've ever heard. The vocals are atrocious, the lyrics are laughable, and musically, nothing remotely interesting.

Even thinking about them makes me cringe.

I actually really like Shikari,I think the blend of synths and screaming is innovative and a great listen,but thats just me. Anything by Soulja Boy is the worst song.He is a disgrace to hip-hop,its hard to even call him a hip-hop artist.He cant rap at all,he just has really really basic rhymes,rarely incorporates words in the actual English language and has repetitive,simplisti beats and choruses.The only song I can tolerate is "Yaaaahh!"

Most novelty songs, like the Crazy Frog are really annoying.

What was the point of it. It's some really annoying music in the background and most of the time you couldn't understand wat the guy was singing, if you could call that singing. I think it got to No. 1 here in Australia, and I had to listen to it for ages. I was ready to kill myself.

Personally...i think the song "the black parade" by my chemical romance is so horrible...i hate that band so much, i have never heard something so disgrace to rock music.

The album was 'The Black Parade' the song was 'Welcome To The Black Parade'.

My Chemical Romance are my faveourite though, I don't care what people think about them, everyone can have their opinions.

I would have to say that song, I think it is called 'Low', you know the one that goes "Shorty got low low low low" yeah, that one or 'Am I Not Pretty Enough' by Casey Chambers.

The worst song ever, imo, is "Yah!" by Soulja Boy!!! Gawd I didn't think it could get anyworse than crank dat, but this song surpasses it! This kid's 15 minutes of fame is up and he should go back to "rapping" on youtube. The song itself is just random gibberish, and the ending is just stupid "throw some D's at me". If you haven't heard it, listen to it!

A very annoying song is the Locomotion. The song just drives me insane every time I hear it. The lyrics are annoying, the dance that goes with it is just flat out annoying, and overall just mind numbing to listen to. For that matter, any song that has a specific dance to it would probably be considered awful by me.
