I don't believe the match was bad. The match itself was actually better than most of Cena's matches. No, the ending was just horrible. See, the fake fan interference was EXTREMELY well acted out. Everyone went silent, the wrestlers looked confused, the commentators said nothing, and real security got involved. After that, the ending was just atrocious. All Orton did was quickly choke Cena on a rope and then RKO him. After the fan interference, the rest of the match was only like a few seconds long. Not good enough of an ending, in my opinion.

I thought the finish was great. What's wrong with seeing something different ? If the match finished like the other title matches(Orton retaining via interference,count out or dq) it would possibly be a forgettable match. It was something different and made people excited. You could have never predicted who was gonna win. The crowd was into it. So what was wrong with that finish ? It made people talking and attracted crowd's full attention to match. It benefit both Cena and Orton. Orton got a clean victory over Cena and Cena didn't hurt from it. If they didn't do all those restarts it wouldn't be talked and would be considered as a normal match. But because of the finish maybe 5 years later people will still remember this match.
Worst PPV finish of all time? Undertaker defeating Steve Austin for the WWE title in 1999 was pretty bad and stupid lol. The pin was just awkward and it was just a weird ending to a match. But this match last night was also so bad

Ive watched this match about 5 times or so already and i still cant completly understand tha point in all of it, it was a weird way to debut brett dibease an how they took it off camera like it wasnt in tha script was really pointless shit. an i dont even kno how to start bout the match. it was truly speechless an tha most mysterious match up this year. if it was a ppv match they should neva change it to no DQ then change it to no count out then have a fan run in, an then they restart it bc his foot on tha ropes why doesnt that happen eva time sumbody puts there foot on tha rope.(i think they shouyldve made cena touch tha rope then tha ref realize it after he counted it not have anotha ref outta no where come in an stick his noise in it), tha best part of tha match was how orton did tha RKO. an for eva body tellin ppl it was scripted just let ppl think what they want. if ppl get really into an think its real i think wwe is doing what they used to do, bc i was a believer!
The match quality between Orton and Cena wasn't so good, but I loved all the restarts and everything. Especially the ending, I kept going back and forth between whether the fan was planted or not lol. This match kept me on the edge of my seat without there being great chemistry between the two wrestlers.
It was a great finish. How can you even sit and say worst PPV finish of all time? All the false finishes/restarts and such. It made the match actually very unpredictable and each time you thought Cena was going to pull through with the win somehow. Didn't happen. I watched at a Blast Zone and there were about 60 people there for it. Every single one (including my friend and I) were loud and yelling when the match kept getting restarted. Obviously you haven't seen too many PPVs if you think this was the worst finish of all time.
