WM24: Benoit vs Cena anyone?

i no that benoit ended up jobbin to cena, and even though it was a short match, i would love to see it again, and hearing that benoit was moving to RAW after mania this year i think i would like to see cena go into mania24 as champ and have a great match and lose the title to benoit..any thoughts?

Im sorry to say it but Benoit looks crap in ring at the moment, and he still managed to carry Cena in that match on Raw, Boringgg... if Cena's still champ by then tho i supose anyone would do.

What was done on Raw can't be undone. Not even at Wrestlemania. They just took one of the best programs they set up in the last five years (Wrestlemania 20) and in one fell swoop, invalidated and stained it (along with Benoit's already failing credibility). At least they did it fast, though. I'll give them that much because if you're going to suck...you may as well be efficient.

I don't expect to see Cena in the main event at 'Mania .. if he's even there next year, I would like to see Benoit as a main eventer but he's been thrown around as a jobber to much recently wich is a shame of WWE to do to one of the best wrestlers in the WWE today. If Benoit regains credabilty and in ring pressence by then I think that we might see him as the WHC at WM24.
Cena, he won't be champion by then because I think that the WWE has relised by now that he's begining to be hated by the fan's.

I'd much rather see a Benoit/HBK or Benoit/HHH match at WM24 for the title.

I think you guys are looking down on Benoit too much, I was just thinking the same thing earlier today actually when I looked at the title history on wwe's website....On raw he held the tag team and World Heavywieght at the same time....held it for 5 months...droped to orton which was sad....he held it for one.....anyways.....he also held the U.S. now for about 6 months comin up. Althought I do agree he has been jobbed around, atleast it's not a Matt Hardy case....

Why in the hell would you want to see John Cena main event yet another Wrestlemania... it would be sickening no matter who the opponent. If that match did happen at WM24 everyone knows Benoit would be forced to job out to the far inferior Cena yet again... makes me wanna puke.

I want to see and HBK/Beniot WWE title iron man match. Wrestle mania 24 in Orlando/Florida. That is the match I want to see at Wrestlemanina 24. Michaels and Angle was classic. Michaels and Bret Classic. Let get Michaels his eighth match of the year and third or fourth five star match.

Benoit's getting old and he's running out of gas, and the majority of fans probably don't want to see him wrestle a main event at wrestlemania.

It's sad to say that I don't think he'll ever really be a consistent main eventer ever again in his career.

it is way to early to predict the main event of wm24 but i can gurantee cena wont be involved in it...i can also gurantee that hhh WILL b involved in it for missing this years wrestlemania..but its doubtful cena will b in the main even seeing as he has headlined more than 2 in a row..

That is a horrible idea. Next year, I don't want to see John Cena anywhere near the main event. If he does wrestle, I hope it is the first match so we can just get it over with. I'm going to Wrestlemania 24 (which has been a dream of mine ever since I started watching wrestling) and I really hope it will be better than next weekends Wrestlemania and last years Wrestlemania because they both suck. Anyway, I would like to see Chris Benoit win the Championship again but not against John Cena.

sadly benoit won't be in the main event but neither will cena. I see the main event being Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels after they official end degeneration X when Triple H once again turns on Shawn Michaels.

I can't believe people are ripping into Chris Benoit's match level. Sure he hasn't been spotlighted in storylines or anything recently...but he consistently has great matches day in and day out. The recent matches had had with Chavo were all great matches as well as the battles he's had with Finlay. Benoit is usually the reason I tune into Smackdown everyweek, simply because he consisitently has great matches. It doesn't matter if it's 5 minutes or 45 minutes, he goes out there and busts his ass with intensity unmatched by any wrestler in the WWE today or perhaps in history.

I would love to see him in the main event of Wrestlemania 24. It's unlikely in my opinion, but as long as he gets a quality opponent and some decent time in the ring, we will see one of the best matches of the night guaranteed.

First of all...Triple H may NEVER go Heel again....he doesnt want to he stated.....he wants to stay face for the rest of his career.....and I agree benoit DOES bust his ass everyday....and it is the only reason i tune into sd also....except for boogyman or sometin else but generally benoit....and it's a shame they are makin him lose title to someone that can barely win a match.......but if they pushing him on raw...maybe it's for the best

Better as in jobbing all their up-and-coming talent to him and having him dominate their world heavyweight title scene? They already have that position filled by everyone else that came in from the WWE.

I doubt Benoit will ever be Champ again.Truth be told,as good as he is,he doesnt have the "showman" abilities that Kennedy,HH,HBK,The Rock etc have.It would be cool to have be champ,but I think he'd only be a transitional one.
As for WM24, i have a strong feeling that the card will be something like this
WWE Title- Cena(Heel) vs. HHH(Babyface)
WHC- Ken Kennedy vs. Batista or Rey Mysterio or Bobby Lashley
ECW Title- CM Punk vs. Elijah Burke or Marquis Co Von.
HBK vs. The Undertaker
Edge vs. Orton( if their planned fued doesnt play out this Summer)
Money in the Bank Battle Royal(the ladder match is kida old now,unless the make it a TLC match)
