I remember in 2011 when Rock returned and Cena called him out on Raw the night after 'Mania 27 I thought they were going to face each other right there until I became more of a smark and knew that Rock couldn't compete on tv that would be too huge mainly for the biggest match of all-time

I remember when Brock returned in 2012 I thought he would face someone on Raw in a squash match to 'Send a Message' to Cena but he didn't and I slowly realized he was a part-timer

At first I thought Part-Timers was people who only did PPVs then Y2J started being called a Part-timer so I knew it was just the schedule. But then Undertaker competed on Raw then HHH(No Longer a Part-Timer). So basically The Rock and Brock are the only 2 part-timers left to compete on Raw while a part-timer.But the question is will it happen?

No, I don't think so....

Brock Lesnar is a special attraction. And he's been criticized for not being a big fan of the business, but just the money. He negotiates limited dates... so they're going to maximize this on PPV with the occasional appearance on RAW in order to hype the PPV's. I don't think we'll ever see anything more than a Brock Lesnar brawl on RAW.

The Rock... he actually may never wrestle again. At least not for a while. If I were him, I wouldn't either. He's a worker in Hollywood, filming constantly, being in movie release after release every year. I read he was one of the top paid actors in Hollywood last year, which is insane. He's become an A-lister and has a lot going for him outside of wrestling. There's no point risking injury (like at 'Mania 29) and risking filming schedules and upsetting producers and studios in Hollywood. Until his film career fizzles... there's no need for him to ever wrestle again.

Lesnar will return in the ring again.
but will the rock? i think so i don't think rock has anything left to do in wwe.
however the rock always comes to promote his movies!
i don't really wanna see rock/brock whats to gain?
a big match? a big moment in the wwe? but whats the gain in it for the wwe?
i don't see a pay off for the rock or brock most likely both would leave after wrestlemania, and would hurt wwe ratings badly.

The entire point for guys like Dwayne & Brock to return is to sell PPV buys, sell tickets to those PPV's, sell merch & DVD from those PPV's, etc.

Why would they ever wrestle on free TV?

& compared to some of the old WWF programming where it was almost exclusively squash matches for an hour, I'd say we usually get some pretty damn good wrestling every Monday & Friday Night & we always get guys like Lesnar, Rocky, Undertaker, etc. making the occasional appearance, building to a storyline or even brawling/laying someone out with a finisher.

So in short, No because that's why they are the Legends/Part-Timers. They get paid the big bucks to the wrestle the big time, main event matches.

There's a good chance of The Rock's time inside the ring actually wrestling is finished. Various reports that've been released since post WM 29 through the summer suggest that The Rock might not be back at all in WWE in 2014. One report, for instance, stated that WWE informed the company that's contracted to produce their merchandise not to produce any new material for The Rock in 2014. The Rock's movie career has reignited in the past several years and, the last I heard, he was rumored to be one of the favorites to portray The Terminator in the reboot of the franchise, the filming of which takes place during WrestleMania season. Also, since post WM 29, I think the novelty of The Rock has worn off on a lot of people. The few times I've heard his name mentioned on WWE television during a promo, he's gotten more boos than cheers and the live crowd at Raw the night after WM was pretty unforgiving of him for not showing up. With his movie career thriving once again, the injuries he suffered HAVE to have made him consider not wrestling again. In the past 3 years, his movies have made over $2 billion worldwide, he's a major player in two successful film franchises, there's more money to be made acting and it's much safer.

Brock Lesnar is a mercenary basically. He'll work for anyone as long as the price is right, no matter if he actually has any real love for what he's doing or not. Lesnar was brought in as a special attraction who pops up for a handful of shows every 3 or 4 months to help pop a rating and to increase ppv buys. It's a formula that's worked and it's really all WWE is able to get out of him. He works only a certain amount of dates, as stated by his contract, so WWE has to pick & choose when he shows up. Because of how the deal is structured, it's highly unlikely WWE is going to have Brock Lesnar wrestle on television for free. It defeats the entire purpose of having him signed to the deal he has. Lesnar is essentially milking WWE for every dime he could get, so it only makes sense for WWE to do the exact same. In truth, the exact same can be said of The Rock. He's gotten paid a hefty amount of money for his time with WWE the past several years and has only had to wrestle a total of 4 matches, one of which was a tag team match while the other 3 were singles matches against John Cena & CM Punk. Having either of them wrestle for free on television defeats the purpose of even signing them as special attractions.

Well, technically PPVs are on TV......

The reason shows like SNME drew massive numbers back in the day is because:
A) time slot: SNL was a beast
B) there was less to watch: this is both wrestling and non-wrestling. Wrestling wise, by the time we get to Saturday, we'd be gassed out from WWE alone.
C) it was an attraction: and this is why we won't be likely to see Brock, or Rock wrestle on free TV again

Looking more at C), back in the day, with the exception of the occasional Superstars match or match on Wrestling Classic, we didn't see name guy against name guy. Occasionally, we'd see a Hogan promo, but he'd be kept for special occasions, like SNME. So, when the show came around, it was a HUGE show. Now, weekly, we see name vs name, and the biggest stars working matches.

The E has to keep something as an attraction which is why they sign Brock and Rock to limited date contracts. They are almost forcing themselves into using these guys as special attractions. If Rock signed a short term, no limit contract, Vince would have him on both shows every week and the schtick would get tired. If Brock signed the same deal, the E would stick him in the ring every week and him destroying people would lead to knowing it was coming. I like the special attraction idea, especially when guys aren't committed to the long haul.

Lesnar has the better chance, but from what i've heard about his contract he has very limited dates, and they wouldn't waste a date on a TV Match.

Why do something for free, when you could make money off of him?

As far as The Rock is concerned, I don't think he'll ever wrestle again. Even on PPV. I think his injury at WM29 was a huge reality check for him, and made him realize he was more passionate about Hollywood than the WWE. Which is fine with me.

Not a chance. Why would you give away something for free when those are the big draws people pay for on PPV?

I personally don't care if The Rock gets back into the ring at all. Outside his first match with Cena, the rest were pretty average. He was never a guy that was going to blow you away with his ring work, but they were all just average matches. I'd rather he come back as maybe a special guest ref or something little. Maybe cut a few promos for something. I don't know... The Rock is done for me.

Lesnar will also never wrestle on TV either. It's something people have paid for since his days in UFC. You're not going to give away a free match with Lesnar when just announcing he'll be in the building is enough to sell out a Raw on Monday nights.

I can't see it happening. There is debate whether or not The Rock would ever wrestle again never mind on free TV. I don't think it will happen for either superstar. There is no scenario where they would need to because they sell PPV's by their sheer presence. The only way I could see The Rock wrestle was at a special episode of Raw and he faced Heath Slater or something. Likewise with Brock and Santino. Other than that I can't imagine them giving away a match on TV.
